Terrible experience. Will never go back again
Great value. Excellent food and service, with a good variety of choices on the menu. The General Manager, Matt, always gives a friendly greeting and makes sure the patrons are well taken care of.
Casual dinner experience. Food was mediocre and sitting near the bar caused there to be an increased noise level. Service was good and servers were attentive.
Food was just ok. Really dry chicken on my salad. Service also not great.
Excellent food and service
Things have significantly changed due to COVID. Atmosphere is much more subdued and less personal. Close coffee bar by 8pm, wow!
The restaurant was out of straws and there were no draft beers as their machines were broken.
Great lunch with plenty of yummy choices on the menu. Friendly & attentive wait staff. Great spot for lunch.
Waiter had a fun personality and gave excellent service. Food is high quality & was delicious!
As always, an amazing place to meet for business.
Awesome food and Service. John was awesome. Thanks for a great evening meal.
This is one of my favorite restaurants for both take-out and dining-in.
The dipping oil with cheese is incredible. The bread is wonderful. The Ahi Tuni Wontons are fabulous. My personal favorite entree is the mustard encrusted chicken.
Sunday brunch is excellent.
Gluten free dishes were given two thumbs up by a friend I took here.
Fathers Day and a Birthday celebration
Sat outdoors for the second visit in recent weeks and the server was terrific. He recognized me and welcomed me back! Excellent place to reunite with old friends over tasty food and drink. It got a bit noisy due to what was probably a night-before bridal party and a few idiots driving past without mufflers, but that's not NYAJ's fault. Very good and reliable place, and it avoids the confusing and stupid paid parking issues that plague nearby Town Center.
The bread is awesome! The food is really good too.
This was a very nice family dinner. My pick son ate his entire chicken Parmesan without a crumb left!
Our waiter seemed very harried & pretty much disinterested in us. The first basket of focaccia seemed stale. We later asked fir a new one and finally another waiter brought it. We were never asked what type of salad dressing we wanted. Also, the Joe’s regular salad was pretty sad & uninteresting. When we handed chicken on it it was an additional $7!!! Pretty pricey for just a sale of greens, tomatoes, cucumbers & carrots. Also , croutons were rock hard.
I understand that the waiters had no back up help & had to do everything- bus tables, orders etc. But, a little explanation as to why they were busy would have helped!!!
Interesting menu options, we enjoyed salmon, haddock, stacked chicken tortilla entrees. Server Avery was attentive and helpful. Excellent choice for us!
Big fan - seemed like they were a little short on staff
Our first visit in about 17 months -- we did not dine out during the worst of the pandemic. We were delighted to see that our favorite place was still operating AND that the menu and service were still great.
Considering that restaurant was understaffed, it was still a wonderful experience. Our waiter worked really, really hard. Since we were there for a relaxed casual lunch, he matched our flow.
Kudos to the entire staff for making it all work.
The waiter was very personable and friendly. But the kitchen staff did a poor job at preparing the food for a not busy lunchtime crowd, resulting in our party having to send two dishes back. The restaurant was great and professional at correcting but in general the dishes were just okay. For instance, the one dish we didn’t send back was the salad which while the tuna was good, the salad overall was quite soggy and had no crunch. Will be hard to justify going back especially at the prices. I had been once before prior to covid with a better food experience so may be better again after getting the right chefs back into the restaurant.
We were using our birthday credits and enjoyed our meals. I had the ahi tuna salad. My husband had the mustard chicken sandwich. The service was very good. Not only our waiter checked on us and was friendly but another waiter (I think) asked us several times if there was anything we needed. The place wasn't crowded for a Sunday night. Enjoyable meal.
We had terrific outdoor seating and our server Casey provided excellent service
Dinner portions were generous and the food was very good.
Great service and food!
We had a 1 week advance notice so could have picked anywhere. Chose this because if another NYAJ location in Glen Mills. Very disappointed in the so-called “outdoor seating,” and the inattentive service.
Service was above and beyond...
Luncheon was at 11:30 outside...we switched to inside.
We started with 4 and ended with 8 with accommodations being made smoothly and ATTENTIVELY.
Very excellent experience.
sweet potato fries are wonderful.
all portions are generous.
Our server was fantastic funny, e knew what we wanted
I did not have any noise issues. The sound level was reasonable for a restaurant.
The menu has such a great variety of food and the service was amazing!
Always great! One of my favorite places when we are visiting Reston.
We went to celebrate Mother's Day. We felt totally save (Covid related). The food was very yummy. We got the Buffalo Chicken Tenders and Sheet Pan Nachos to share. Both were very good and filling so we all only ate half of our entrees and was too stuffed for dessert. Can't wait to go back and try the Peanut Butter Thing.
We were here for Mother’s Day. All was well until the food came out. One order was completely wrong and the pizza was undercooked and soggy. By the tome the problem was fixed it had been an additional 20 minutes. By that time we were ready to go as the rest of the table had been waiting on refills and another round of drinks.
Our whole experience was good except for the service. Our server took forever to take our order and we would always have to look up before reordering. Thanks to the bartender who was paying close attention we didn’t have to wait too long coz she would fill our server’s spot when she was not around.
Another great experience. Sirloin tips were underwhelming, but dealt with swiftly. Highlight to eat there is John, the server, he is a top guy.
Our waiter, John, was fantastic!!
The only problem was that a group of 6-7 women were seated very close to us and were a little loud.
