We had a great office lunch and enjoyed it very much.
I had a cup of French Onion Soup and a Steak Wedge Salad. Both were excellent! Just the right amount of cheese in the soup. The steak was cooked to perfection and was complemented by a well-dressed lettuce wedge with all the fixings. Sara H did an outstanding job serving! I will definitely return.
One of our favorite places, especially for celebrations. Went there for our wedding anniversary and they did not disappoint.

Really good food, cooked from scratch in the kitchen. Excellent service, adult type ambiance that allowed for conversations at the table without yelling. Server made recommendations that were spot on. Braised short rib ragu over pasta and steak frites were both outstanding choices. We'll definitely return!
Great service and food. Bread is killer
The food was great except, the pizza & vegetables with my sirloin tip were not very hot. The other diner was shocked at how little meat there was on the short rib rage also. Salmon was terrific!
Waiters were very attentive.
The items in the brunch buffet were cold. The manager did not charge us for the buffet. We ended up having to order from the regular menu, which a bummer because we really were looking forward to brunch. Our server was phenomenal.
We reserved a booth near the bread bar...did not happen. Partner ordered sirloin tips which for chewy and not tender. I ordered pesto which was supposed to include their delicious roasted carrots. I received only 5. Kelly was a great server even though she had a table of 12 sitting next to us. She was busy but responsive. Dessert was delicious...caramel bread pudding.
I hate to say I wouldn't recommend it, but the fact is the service is just really slow. The staff is friendly and courteous, but man is it slow to get service. As a father of young kids, with most friends with small kids, I wouldn't recommend NYAJ to other families.
We have lunch here regularly. We are always satisfied with the options and are appreciative that the menu has seasonal changes throughout the year.
I've been a over a dozen time to NYAJ. The food is poor. There's not enough flavor, at times undercooked veggies in the spaghetti sauce bolognese, the meat tends to be so fatty and tough - just had the short ribs papardelle - the meat was inedible. Service is typically very nice, last trip server was checked out.
It was interesting that we could not take part in happy hour without sitting in the bar area. It was a little noisy there for our conversation. The food and drink, however, was good.
The food was only decent and service was okay but not great. With so many other restaurants around I won't bother going back.

We frequent Joe’s a lot and appreciate their menu variety and attention to food allergies. Food is consistently good as is service.
The service was inconsistent at best. Our drink order was not fixed correctly and when asked if they could sweeten it with cherry juice we were told that the cherries didn't come in juice. The Meal was very good but arrived at the same time as our appetizer so it was cold by the time we ate it. It was busy that night so we didn't always have the attention of our waiter for water refills or other needed items. I did like there menu and may give them another try, just will lower expectations.

We have been here many times since it opened. Typically it is very yummy food and a great atmosphere. This time, the food was just ok. The scallop rissotto was not good at all, very bland. They used to have a rosemary scallop dish that was over a corn couscous, now that was yummy. My son had fish and chips and enjoyed it and my husband liked his steak frites. The bread and dip is always great at this place. I love that they have large tables, so when we come for a couples date night, there's always a good spot for us. I'll definitely go back, but not a fan of their new (updated) fall menu so far.
One of the dishes came out undercooked. While this was disappointing the manager came right over and handled the rest. Excellent customer service!

Great service, a bit loud, prices a tad high, but overall, pretty good. Glad I had a reservation.
Visited to enjoy the Octoberfest menu. Unfortunately, they were out of the featured beer and featured appetizer. They usually serve an amazing bread, but that too was not great, cold and a bit stale. The sauerbraten was ok, but the sauce was bland. We normally love this restaurant, but they were off their game during this visit.
I have a severe gluten allergy and so in past years I have always enjoyed NYAJ as they took the Gluten allergy seriously - today I met a friend there for lunch and I was so disappointed - the service was really awful with our server acting as if he really didn’t care what we wanted or if we were there at all! If that wasn’t bad enough - I ordered a GF sandwich- half way through I started to get sick as this clearly was NOT Gluten Free - this used to be one of my reliable go -to’s . Based on my experience today - I will never return!!
Their food and service is always really good. It can get a little loud if you sit near the bar.

We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio because it was a beautiful day. Our food was delish. My friend had the Hoison Salmon and I the quinoa bowl. Of course, once again, the bread & dipping oil made the meal!!
However, we were very disappointed with our server. Not only did he seem disinterested in us & his job but barely spoke a word to us. I can’t say he was totally inattentive because he did refill our drinks & bread basket but, we felt as if he just didn’t care.
The last few times I have been here the service was great & I had even commented to my husband about it, perhaps that is why today’s service was such a disappointment.
Vegetable Bolognese...omg so good!
Second time I’ve booked a table for 10 for a conference dinner. Second time everything went off without a hitch. Meals arrived correct and at the same time. Requests for separate checks were treated like it was no problem. If you’re booking for a large business group, this is an excellent choice.
They took my celiac/extreme gluten free needs very seriously. The meal was great, service was fantastic, and I even got gluten free rolls before dinner!!! Will definitely be back.
