Definitely yes. Was disappointed in the very small rollI was served as my gluten free bread.
The food was amazing!!!
This is a great restaurant with very relaxed eating environment, friendly customer services and reasonably priced food. We love it and will go back.
We had dinner with out of town relatives. We all enjoyed our meals and enjoyed the ambiance, although the noise level was high. I should have thought about that when we booked our reservation for 6:30 on Friday night. We will definitely come back again, but possibly on a quieter night. Thanks for a great evening.
The service was not great - multiple times we ran out of beverages and had to ask for more instead of it just being provided. The food was not well cooked - the salmon under and over cooked, the rice under cooked. The broccoli was good. The decorations were appealing.
We had a good meal, great service and a nice time.
the food was great, however the service was poor, very slow. we got more help from others peoples service
We selected the St. Patrick's Day special of corned beef and cabbage. My dining partner and I were both very disappointed The only truly eatable portions were the potatoes and carrots. The meat and cabbage should not have been plated. The meat was very tough and rubbery and the cabbage was dry and tough.
A fantastic experience as I've been to other NYAJ's in the New England area and brought some local friends who had heard about the restaurant...
They where incredibly pleased and decided to put it in their regular restaurant rotation...
The staff from the hostess to the GM were friendly and anticipated our every need...
Excellent service, lots of food choices. However my dish was not seasoned well. It was a little too loud. Overall not bad;)
Asked for window table and was ignored
When I made the reservation, I noted it was a birthday.
That didn’t seem to have had an impact. Which was fine.
The Food was ok, not great.
Birthday for a friend and everyone signed a card and gave it to my friend !!! The food was delicious !
I was meeting a friend from high school that I hadn’t seen in a decade. She texted that she was running 20 minutes late, but they sat me, brought yummy bread and were very patient. Even though my server was going through training, she did great (and learned a lot about customer service).
Great time. Great gluten free choices
We really loved our dinner at Not Your Avwrage Joes. The food was great and the service was great! It was pretty busy for a sunday afternoon, but overall we had a great time celebrating my moms birthday!
The waiter could be more friendly and forgot to checked in with us regarding our food water etc. This is the first time at your restaurant and we usually go to Great American Restaurants, and their service is consistently very good.
Server was very nice, and knowledgeable of the menu my friend needs gluten-free options and was very pleased with her food... she originally ordered the special unfortunately that wasn’t an GF option and she was offered an alternative however this menu item was at a bit more expensive which wasn’t mentioned. I ordered the chicken Parmesan it was fair, the chicken was burned on one side and the sauce was very bland I would not order it again but will give them another try.
Service was fantastic!!! We were so pleased with our waitress, waiter.....they shared tables so things moved very quickly. Also it was my daughters birthday and they brought out her dessert with a candle and a card signed by all the staff......she really thought that was sweet!!! Her Reese pie ice cream was so good that I only ate half of my carrot cake which was also delicious, but I can't say no to chocolate!!! I also ordered an extra carrot cake to take home to my husband.....he loved it!!! For dinner I had the Seafood Alfredo which was amazing, huge shrimp and scallops!!! The food was great, it was a perfect end to a perfect day!!! Thank you Not Your Average Joe's!!!
Great food, especially the bread and dipping sauce.
Service was excellent and the food was very good. Good selection of drinks and menu items. A little noisy around the bar area but better toward the back. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Great service. Love the bread!
Have always loved NYAJ's, but this was or first time to the Reston location. Super, attentive staff and very nice decor. I would just tone the music down a bit as it was too loud the day we were there. And, maybe offer smaller sizes of desserts - the ones we ordered were delicious, but WAY too big for one person....share with three and you'll be ok. :-)
We went to Joe’s for a family gathering and enjoyed a great Sunday brunch together. The food at Not Your Average Joe’s is very good with a varied menu, which is great when you have a large party and varied tastes. Our server was very attentive and our orders came quickly without any issue.
A few of us had the Eggs Bennedict and a couple others had the French Toast - both highly recommended. You get a good amount of food for the money and the bread that comes with each meal is fantastic!
I would definitely recommend the restuaraunt for families, business meetings and even date night.
I usually order the same salad and it is a bit different every time. The quality of the food seems to depend on who is working in the kitchen. At any rate I have found the super crunch salad is usually very tasty. Avoid the spaghetti squash signature dish. I ordered it once and it was awful, but might have been the chef working that night. My husband usually gets the beef tips and likes it. I have also tried the salmon and it is good. Tends to be noisy, but quiets down the further away from the bar that you sit.
Big group for my wife’s birthday. Good variety of food which was all very tasty. Food came out at varying times, but I understand that’s hard with a group of ten.
Took a little long for our drinks to get to the table after we ordered them. But overall service was fine.
Overpriced and got sick on their pan-seared fish w/ mashed sweet potato. My friend had the exact same dish and got sick on the fish as well. Must make rsv otherwise, you WILL wait for a table on the wkends.
As always, a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and the food superb. Keep up the great work! A wonderful place for a date or a night out with friends.
Good food, descent beer selection, and good service.
Great food great service
My last two visits did not meet expectations. I think it's time to try another establishment with more consistent results.
This was one of the worst meals we have had at Joe’s. We’ve been regular customers for over two years. And now we see quality of food and even the service going downhill. I guess all good things come to an end. Even our server did not want to be there and it showed.
Original creations. Delicious ingredients and generous portions.
Too noisy & busy but it was Friday night. Server was great food mediocre.
Always great food and service.
Reservations were quick and easy. Food delicious and service excellent. Will definitely return.
This is my least favorite visit to NYAJ's. First of all, was sat by the back wall with a nearby window, and then the air conditioning kept coming on during our meal. Sat there eating my meal wearing my winter coat. Not my idea of a pleasurable dining experience.
Second we both ordered the carrots with our entree vegetable selections, they were under cooked. Spouse had Brussell Sprouts which were over cooked.
Waitress was nice and attentive.
The waitress was the biggest b.tch ever. Se ruined everything about that lunch.
