Third year for my birthday, the Provencal moules and truffle pommes frites have become my annual birthday dinner. They are amazing!

Always amazing service and food.

I live in the ATL - but this is my go to place when I’m in Knoxville -

Best service in town coupled with great cocktails and incredible food always makes for a great night at the Northshore Brasserie!

We went for their Wednesday oyster special - a little disappointed by them. Whoever is shucking them needs more experience with keeping debris out of them and loosening the meat. We ordered 2 dz and about 6 were a respectable size. The others were tiny - Far too small to be served half shell. Sauces were very good, though!
Ordered the Duck with quinoa, beet purée, and roasted vegetables. Quinoa and beet were excellent! Duck was flavorful. Roasted vegetables were overdone - almost burnt.
Overall - not bad, but not great. I know they have some great dishes. Maybe just an off night, but we probably won’t bother getting the oysters again.

For as nice a place as it was supposed to be, we spent our $200 sitting at a table looking at the filthiest kitchen I have seen in a long time. Black stuff hanging off the vents above where they prepared their meals. Side dish with melted cheese was not hot, which means the cheese was not melted. The steak was delicious, the bread and appetizers very good and the drinks were made well.

Our favorite Knoxville restaurant. Perfect food and service in a white tablecloth bistro. Highly recommended.

Great night at the Brasserie. The food and service are always spot on.

Went for Valentine's Day and got the Onion Soup Gratinee and Escargot as apps, Duck Duo and Beef Bourguignon as main dishes, Brussel Sprouts as a side, and finished things off with the Belgian Choclate cake for dessert. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but not worth the price. The seared breast in the duck duo was not warm and a different temperature than the confit leg and one side of the Beef plate was cooler than the other. It felt like everything was reheated rather than freshly cooked. The chocolate cake was dry and too firm. Finally, I thought it was odd that the waiting staff didn't have a uniform. They were all dressed differently ranging from sport coats to Patagonia fleeces giving an unprofessional look. Great atmosphere and ambience. Overall, decent but not worth the price.

My son and I ordered the butcher steak. Both were cold and chewy. It's the first time I've been extremely disappointed at the Brasserie.

Halibut was delicious.. always has a fresh approach to fish dishes.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Knoxville. Food is always great and service good. It sometimes gets a bit noisy in there but I can overlook the noisy for the great food and service.
My favorites are the tartare and the duck but never had anything that wasn’t great!!

Went for our Anniversary Dinner. Had great seating availability for a last minute Sat evening. Food, service, and experience were all excellent.

The meal was amazing and our server was very attentive to perfect service!
I went with my son to celebrate my birthday and he was always making sure my son was happy with his food and that I got everything i wanted.
All food was served perfectly, and servers were always making sure we were taken care of. Both my son's cheeseburger (best in town!) and my duck were perfectly seasoned and cooked.
It was amazing and they celebrated my birthday with a complimentary desert and candle.

Looking forward to going back!

They never disappoint

As I have come to expect of Northshore Brassiere, everything was wonderful! The service was excellent from start to finish. Descriptions of the specials as well as the recommendations on wine were on point! Food was amazing! I have never had a bad dinning experience here and will continue to come for special occasions as well as just a night out.

I always get friends to take me to Brasserie when I’m in town! Loved the gin cocktails, truffle fries, and duck this time! And the profiteroles never disappoint. Thanks for a lovely evening out!

I go here for escargot, mussels and French fries. Steak is also outstanding. Great place for an evening of fine dining.

Usually very good, however was a little disappointed with the quality of the food this time. They weren't busy, maybe a new chef. I'll go back again.
