Operating on a walk-in basis, Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen features creative cuisine in a warm, casual and friendly buffet style dining experience. Enjoy your meal with breath taking views of the Bow Valley!

DINE ABOVE BANFF! Anchored at over 2,200 meters above sea level, the Banff Gondola’s Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen sits on the summit of Sulphur Mountain.

Proper winter attire is required. Our gondola cabins are not heated, and it can be up to 10 degrees colder at top.

Overpriced for just ok buffet style food. Brisket was good but pizza had been sitting there for quite a while. The views are pretty though.

You are paying for the view. The food was limited and the quality is okay. With that said, got to give the restaurant credit for now over charging. I think given the view at the top, it's well worth the $42 for and adult and cheaper for kid under 10.

The staff and our server were very friendly and fast. Great service and food! Price was reasonable for a buffet at this location. Would go back for sure.

If u r up at Banff Gondola...u should try their Buffet....they have a reasonable selection of quality food and the price is definitely value for money....the view from the restaurant is breathtaking.... recommending

Friendly, efficient staff, wonderful views, and good food for the price. We did not feel hurried, staff were attentative. It was a great way to end our time at the top of the mountain
