Set right on the water, Northerlies is Airlie’s favourite beach bar offering a unique experience filled with island vibes, casual brasserie-style dining, spacious event areas, creative cocktails, and plenty of beach for the kids to explore. Their free courtesy bus runs 7 days a week offering private pick-ups from Airlie Beach, Cannonvale & Jubilee Pocket. Book your next event and celebrate beach-side.

The Brasserie kitchen is open 7 days. Lunch is served from 12:00pm- 2:30pm and dinner from 5:00pm-8:30pm (Fri & Sat) then 5:00pm - 8:00pm (Sun - Thu), with our 'smalll bites' options available all day. The weekend Beach Kitchen is open on for dinner on Fridays, lunch & dinner on Saturdays, plus lunch on Sundays. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed as we are located on a wildlife reserve.

A pub style dining experience with a million dollar view ! Come during daylight to make the most of the experience! The food quality is excellent And there is a variety of different sized meals. Plenty of drinks on offer too. I have eye fillet. The serving was as stated and flavour was spot on. We also enjoyed seafood risotto, calamari and bolognaise. Bread and dips as starts. All very good too.

Northerlies is our local go to for family celebrations and special occasions. Mothers day was made all the better as our family relaxed after lunch on the beach.

We are inside and it was very noisy with a lot of echo due to the design. The food was very good. One thing that let the whole experience down was that we had requested for coffee after our dinner and were advised that the coffee machine is already turned off! At 8pm? When diners are most likely to order coffee? Especially with dessert (for which there was only 1 choice) - very disappointed. We had to go to Airlie just to get a coffee!

Overall a little lack lustre, ordered 6 starters to share & the bruschetta was the most enjoyable. Everything else lacked seasoning. Cocktails were sickly sweet.
