Food was very good. Staff were a bit hit and miss. An incorrect drink was given , and one drink didn’t come at all. We had to ask for it again. An email saying I could get a complimentary drink wasn’t received until after I got home from dinner. I booked weeks ago so I thought that email could’ve been sent before the day of my booking. Just need to tweak and train the staff a bit more. Thanks

Everything was Amazing! Waiters were so informative and really did seem as they loved their job ! We will definitely be back.

Amazing experience walking through Pentridge, so beautifully renovated and maintained. Enjoyed an amazing dinner with friends at North & Common. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Steak was average, both ordered medium rare but appeared very different. Not rested, blood on plate. Four lettuce leaves quite bitter. Requested a birthday candle for partners birthday, however host openly said he couldn't accommodate my request in front of the birthday person ruining any surprise. Would not attend again.

The inconsistencies with your steaks and the poorly handled birthday request are disappointing and not reflective of our usual standards. While the difference in the steaks may have been due to different cuts ordered, they should still have been cooked consistently and presented with care. Your request for a candle on the steak, should have been approached with thoughtfulness and discretion. I’ve addressed your concerns with our team to prevent this in future. I have been to North & Common quite a few times and I have enjoyed it immensely everytime I have been there. The place, ambience, food, drink, service & staff are all amazing and cannot fault any part of it. I recently celebrated a milestone birthday there with my family and everyone absolutely loved every aspect of it. Keep up the great work everyone at North & Common.

We did the bottomless lunch with a group of 5. We noticed that food took a little to come out. We also have had to remind staff about our drink order a couple of times. Overall a good experience but room for improvement. Our waitress was super friendly and answered all of our questions. She was 10/10.

Absolutely stunning space for a special dinner or catch up with friends. Waitstaff were attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and wine pairings. Dessert menu options were amazing, just couldn’t fit it in - next time!
