   The filet mignon is very good! I recommend pairing it with a lobster tail.

   our second visit to Northshore Steakhouse at American Casino. Did not rate the first viisir since they had just opened then. This time we expected a much better experience. Service was good. Food was unacceptable. Starter bread came out hot and lookec good but turned out to be tasteless and was an added $5.00 charge. My husband's medium rare rib eye steak was tough and fatty. We took over half of it home and it was still inedible when we sliced it thinly. My tiny 3oz tenderloin tournados did not taste like tenderloin at all. Perhaps the worst was the side dish of au gratin potatoes which were burnt on top and extremely salty. We were disappointed to say the least and do not recommend the steakhouse . n

   You won't be disappointed by your time here. The food is great. Most importantly, the people working there are awesome. My steak came out a little over cooked. I pointed it out to my server- Amelia, and she was very concerned, and the manager came over as well. I didn't want a new one, but they did offer a dessert to make up for it. I point this out because things can't always be perfect, but how people react and care for each other means more. Thank you

   not a good dining experience. from the moment we walked in, the dining room smelled heavily of fish and was unpleasant. a very small dining room, it seemed as if it was an afterthought stuck in a back corner of the casino. there wasn't any ambiance and the prices did not equate to the quality of food, which was just okay but not great. very empty for a saturday night. the only plus to our experience was our waitress, who was friendly and attentive.

   All of the staff was very nice, and our server was great. We ordered some filet medallions, a ribeye, and a “shareable” side of mashed potatoes. The filets were cooked pretty good but the meat quality wasn’t quite there compared to other local steak houses. The mashed potatoes were mediocre at best. The ribeye which was ordered medium rare came out well done, I knew this was well done just by looking at it and how it was even served to us is beyond me. The second attempt was so rare the meat was blue when cut into. At this point my wife was done eating and the table was cleared so I denied a third attempt at the steak and went and had a hot dog for dinner. The manager didn’t seem to have much experience in handling situations like this so she wasn’t much help making us happy. Our entire meal was comped but made us pay for drinks. For what they charge and the quality of food, I would never return.

    Our first time at the restaurant, definitely won't be our last. We had 4 guests and each ordered different things from the menu. Food was very good overall. The service was extra extra good. A few different stops at our table to make sure the food was good and did we need anything else. Prices are a bit high but we will still be back!!
