My girlfriend and I enjoyed our delicious Seasonal Vegetable salads with iced tea and trio of lemon donuts for dessert. We ate outdoors due to COVID-19 on an extremely hot day. Looking forward to feeling safe to dine indoors again. The food and service were outstanding.

Good option for Italian in the area. Pasta was prepared well, sauce and protein was very good. Wine selection is limited but the house red blend was good for the price. Overall, no complaints!

First time having a restaurant meal since pandemic declared. The most important aspect was how well the tables were separated in the area we ate. The staff was sensitive to the concern that many people have regarding dining out. This made the experience positive for my wife who has been reluctant to visit any restaurant. And to top it off the food was tasty and the presentation especially of the charcuterie board was enticing. Overall an excellent experience which will help bring restaurant dining back for us.

The outside patio next the fountain is the best dining location in Reston Town Center and now that North Italia can taken it over, it also has great food and service, as well as some well-crafted and inventive cocktails. We'll be coming back soon -- if we can get a table!

Had three charges to my card because server couldn’t figure out correct bill to run my card for. Was pretty unhappy about that. Otherwise everything was okay I guess server seemed like he meant well but didn’t pay too much attention after he realized we were only doing a few small plates and drinks.

This place was wonderful... Food tasted great: we had the salmon and squid ink pasta dish with budino dessert. We had the black apple Manhattan, sangria and apricot limonato. Drinks were nice and strong. Dessert was delicious and service was perfect. Definitely recommend this place for a romantic night and well with the money

Noisy, lively, seems like it's always busy. Small menu. I'm not sure why this new restaurant is so popular. I don't have much to say about it. It's not bad, but left me somewhat underwhelmed.

We all ordered very different items, and 4 of us were finished long before the pizza for the other 2 in our party arrived. It was not well-planned! Our waitress showed no interest!

Wasn’t too loud on a Monday night because it was not too crowded. I fear a weekend night might be much too loud.
For some strange reason restaurants think they must me very loud to be successful.
There are actually people in this world who like to be able to speak to each other. Texting to communicate with your dinner partners is absurd.

I received a call from the restaurant about an hour before my 11 am reservation to inform me that something had happened and that Northern Italia would not be able to open on Sunday March 1. It was most unfortunate since I had arranged to have brunch with another couple that Sunday morning. The cancellation by the restaurant on such short notice left me scrambling to find and make arrangements to meet at another restaurant. The caller did not explain what had happened and made an apology with an offer to book another day.

I think the prices for a glass of wine is too high, especially since it is only 8 oz. most restaurants offer 9 oz.

Food is good, not great. The "Bread and good olive oil" is simply toasted bread. Mussels appetizer was tasty. Strozzapreti was very good, though rich. Service was mediocre and rushed: asking us how the food was immediately after it was brought, before we tasted it; bringing the check within minutes of finishing eating.

North Italia is good but it can be overpriced. The dishes are large so if you share that makes it more reasonable. We had an odd situation where portion sized in Reston were significantly smaller than Tysons and when we questioned it the manager didn't really seem like it was an issue. We didn't need anymore food but just an observation especially when the entrees are so expensive.

Flat champagne
Order for cheese on the side had cheese on the dish. When we pointed it out to the waiter, his response was the kitchen was busy. He offered no apology. Waiter forgot to bring out a salad that was ordered.

I would recommend with reservations. We were very please the first two times we visited this restaurant and the food was terrific. This time the food was just so so. My favorite dish, spaghetti and meatballs did not have the intricate flavors it did the first few times. The squid ink pasta which we were told was there specialty was a big disappointment. The calamari was mainly arugula lettuce. Very disappointed.

Food is fairly decent but the menu is extremely limited and honestly, kind of boring.

The silly grilled bread with 'good' olive oil appetizer was disappointing as there was very little olive oil, of any quality, present.

Entrees varied in quantity wildly so that the person with the smallest appetite ate her tortelloni fast while the rest of us had more sizable entrees to work through.

Service is extremely friendly and cheerful but execution is not there and seems it never will be. The server had no idea that dolcetta is on their wine list when I ordered a glass of it, and also couldn't answer a question about the beer list without disappearing for 10 minutes to ask the bartender.

No one had any idea who ordered what but the person who delivered the plates didn't even wait for an answer before putting plates down at random in front of each in my party of 4. Nothing horrible happened, it's just that I expect more and would appreciate the friendly energy being channeled into executing on service rather than kibbitzing with me like we're old friends.

The location is great and the food is good. For once the tables are not right next to each other so you could actually have a conversation without the person sitting at the next table overhearing everything

Food and service were excellent. Love the bolognese and tiramisu.

On the downside, it was loud there and we sat a good distance from the front door but could feel a draft - it was a very cold night out.
