Food was good but not “great”, service was average but nothing noticeably exceptional. I had originally asked for “high-top” table reservations because of disability but was talked into taking a booth with much “lower” seats that are difficult for me because of my lower back injuries from the military. I’m not trying to get anyone into trouble, I did not go into any explanation “as maybe I should have) because I thought the restaurant might have needed the high-top tables for someone else. This was my first visit to your establishment, I trust this is not the usual experience for most. Again, as I could be a part of this situation, I should have kept my later scheduled reservation at Haywire instead of trying something new.

North Italia continues to be one of my favorites. Last night I had the Vini Vidi Vici cocktail (a few) and the burrata appetizer. Very good service and quick delivery of everything we ordered, even on a busy night. My friend got the short rib pasta. I didn't try it, but it looked DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this place!

Lively comfortable ambiance. Everything tasted great. Service was well organized friendly and prompt. Perfect for work lunch or date. Loved the burrata, grilled bread, Tuscan soup and kale salad with chicken. Portions were just right. Great combinations and flavors. Happy vibe. My date thought temperature was perfect but it’s chilly for a light blouse. Next time I’ll bring a sweater or sit on the patio and try the pasta; it looked so good.

Food was great, really enjoyed that as always! We were celebrating a birthday and we’re sat next to a table with small kids. No problem, love kids. They were obnoxious and being loud, crying probably just didn’t want to be there. Totally understand parents wanting a night out but as this continued we put together that this family was the managers family. He was working and then coming and hanging with his family. I get wanting to spend time with your family but not while you’re at work and I’d think you’d not want your customers listening to crying, iPad games, jumping around…etc. Really bummed we had this experience because this restaurant is a favorite.

Came to North Italia for a birthday brunch - specified during booking I need a table and it’s for a birthday. However, upon arriving at the restaurant I was asked if high top is ok… and nothing was mentioned about the birthday during the dining experience… Food wise- the quality has gone done since they first opened. Every dish is almost soaked in oil… A bit disappointed on the overall dining experience compared to how they were before

Highly recommend a Chef’s Board to start! The Bolognese was excellent also. Our server Nina was amazing. It was our first time there and she made great suggestions. It was my daughter’s 21 birthday, and Nina brought out a few samples of wine for her to try! We will definitely be back to North Italia in Plano!

Our server Natalie was outstanding. Our guests were running late but she made sure we had water and our drinks. Appetizers we’re enjoyed and our meal was delivered at an appropriate time for us to enjoy the appetizers and not rushed. Two of our squid pastA meals were a little spicer than anticipated. She had the kitchen prepare a small portion of Parmesan cream to tone down the hotness. Perfect evening. Side Note: I asked her before we left if she enjoyed what she did. Absolutely she replied. I told her I could tell. She was a VERY PLEASANT person and an asset to your restaurant and us.

We came here for the first time last night for our 2nd anniversary. It was a great decision. First, the ambiance. The restaurant is open and welcoming, yet felt cozy and intimate in our booth, which was right next to a glass wall to the open kitchen where we could see everything. My husband is a restaurant manager so he loves to watch other kitchens. He said everything seemed organized and was impressed they don’t use screens and do everything based on tickets. Next, the service. Michael was our server and he was phenomenal. When hearing it was our first time, he told us about the restaurant and that they make everything from scratch, even the pasta. I LOVE freshly-made pasta and it can really make or break an Italian restaurant. He had a great attitude, funny personality, delicious drink recommendations, and he was quick to keep my husband’s coke filled constantly. Finally, the food. The truffle garlic bread is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life, and I’m not even exaggerating. The Caesar salad was very good too, and the dressing was delicious. For entrees, we got the bolognese and the chicken parmesan. Bolognese was tasty and the chicken parm was out of this world. I briefly mentioned the drink reccs from Michael - the fiore Scarletto was SO GOOD! We will definitely, definitely be back!

Love North Italia - my go to place when celebrating… anything ! Wonderful food, drinks and our server was amazing. The only (small) downside was it was during turn over between lunch and dinner so didn’t get immediate service as normal but since i’ve been in the service industry - completely understandable. Will def be back !

Great food as always. Very polite and professional waiter. Always impressed with this restaurant. Try the squid ink pasta, so delicious. Will keep coming back.

I found the noise level to be quite loud, but I'm an old guy and prefer to be ble to hear my guests without having to shout. MY BAD!!
