North Italia - Miami

Becoming very torn on weather or not I would recommend, this is the second time
in last couple of months we have had terrible service, both times it seems
basically our table was not assigned to any server, took 20 mins to get a menu/drinks
order and even then was only because I had to get up and grab a server from
a different section. Food is always great, but this is just getting too frustrating.
We are locals and this was a favorite of ours but I feel that may change with all
the new restaurants about to open close by.

Great ambiance. Out of town guests love this place. Vibrant bar scene. Great staff and consistent fresh food. So good

Christmas dinner

Breakfast is superb! The service excellent what more is there to say other than the price is right too. This will be a regular weekend breakfast haunt for us.

The food here is excellent along with great service you can’t go wrong. A reservation for Saturday night is a must because it does get really busy. Authentic good Italian food at a really good price. The cocktails are not too shabby either, in other words they are delicious!

Service and food was great!

Pastas are amazing. Salmon is my favorite. Seabass is also excellent.

Truffle cheese bread amaze. Salmon was Delish. Love open air concept and waiter was Gr8!! Def going back. Yummy.

The only complaint I have is about the server who took care of us. The server took forever to bring cocktails, he brought it AFTER we received our entrees that we had already started eating. His excuse was “the bartender is new.” That’s fine, but please, communicate to us, or tell your manager to get involved and help out. Despite that, food was great. Ambiance wonderful. Not too noisy.

Good italian food, cheap, ambience and nice decoration.

Service was terrible. Eggs were cold and sides were on the in correct plates for guests. To get sauce that was asked for took about 3-4 minutes which lead to very cold eggs. Allergy at the table was noted however the server never let us know there was a side included in the dish that had the allergy so the dish was missing an item with no offering or ask if I wanted something different or to add something to it. There’s a difference between service and hospitality, hospitality does not exist here. A lack of care for the guest should not exist in the hospitality industry. Train differently or hire differently, ideally people who work in the industry for this reason not for the money.
Ambiance was the only positive.

Food is fresh and delicious. The room is a bit dark. The service was good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable.

The overall atmosphere and experience is nice for a dinner or lunch. Drinks are okay. The food is good, not extraordinary. Don't go for the pizza, there are better pizzerias in the neighborhood. Stick to the pasta. Also, double-check your card statement if you charge. I usually like to round off my total charge, i.e., check came to $35.27 with a 18% tip it would be $41.87, I would pay $42. I was surprised when my statement showed $42.27. Imaging charging all customers, a few cents here and there. It adds up in the long run.

This is a casual Italian dining restaurant. It has a relaxed open feel. The food is ok, nothing fancy.

food was very good, service was EXCEPTIONAL. We wanted a leisurely evening and our server never rushed us, spaced/timed the courses perfectly and get the wine glasses properly filled though out the evening. His menu recommendations were also spot-on. It was about as close to perfect an evening as is possible.

Service was off. Took a while to get served. We ordered a bottle of wine that showed up after our entrees. Seemed like there were issues all around us. Food was very good.

This time at North Italia was extra special because I was celebrating my dear friend’s birthday. I requested a quiet table, and we got one, as best as possible, given the restaurant’s popularity. I also asked that her name be written on the dessert plate, with a candle, and this was successfully carried out. The food is consistently good and my friend ( whose first time it was eating there) enjoyed it tremendously. She will be back with her husband for sure! Thank you so much!

I liked the place and service but three of the wines we ordered were not available. We were notified after 15 minutes of wait for our beverages.
