Went with 2 of my girlfriends for dinner. Christian, our server, was very attentive, personable & pleasant. We always had everything we needed & never needed to ask for anything. Drinks were delicious. All of the food tasted very fresh & the presentations were beautiful. Save room for the hazelnut torta for dessert!! We’ll be back :)
Mark was incredible!
Interesting place. Had the Arancini (very good) and the Burrata - which came with a sort of date "jam" and was excellent. Entrees were striped bass - also very good - and a beef tenderloin in a very tasty mushroom sauce that was supposed to be over gnocchi but was served over polenta. Tasty, but unexpected and not what was ordered. Atmosphere is lively and a little loud, but not intolerable.
Service and meal timing were not acceptable. They brought our salads out before our drinks and our appetizers after the salads. Three entrees of four came out together. Had to ask for drink refills. It’s either a lack of training or care.
The food was absolutely delicious - quite the gem in the overindulged KOP mall area. My husband and I split the chef's board and a pizza. That was one of the best chef's boards I've ever had. The pizza was also delicious, but I was so full from the chef's board I only ate one slice! I was so happy we had leftovers. I can't wait to come back and try the pasta dishes! Our server was also very attentive and helpful. We scored a last minute reservation when we decided to go out last minute. I'm sure many people also just walk in without a reservation, but we didn't want to take a chance and have to wait. There were a few (2-3) open tables, but mostly the place was busy, which was nice to see since we will be back!
Overall it was a very good meal. Our dinners were phenomenal (bolognese pasta and sea bass). We had the mussels for an appetizer which, was just okay.
I loved everything about this restaurant. The food and drinks were great and the service was excellent.
It’s the BEST restaurant in all of King of Prussia by far! Food is amazing, service is awesome and price points are great! Very accommodating managers as well! It’s a must go to spot!
Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our first venture to North Italia. We were seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. The restaurant was not busy - Brunch crowd had definitely cleared. However, that didn’t affect the rate at which we were approached table side or served. The service, while our server was friendly, was very slow. Soup was served and the runner quickly put the bowl down and left. Did not ask if we needed anything - like spoons, bread, etc. had to wait several minutes for spoons even though the wait station was within a few steps. Had I noticed earlier, I would have just retrieved them on my own. Soup was nearly cold by the time spoons arrived. I ordered a glass of champagne ($17) and when it finally arrived, it was flat. Unacceptable IMO to serve a $17 drink that is not suitable for consumption. Again, it was a full 20 minutes to get the servers attention and be brought a replacement drink. And they just used my exact same glass complete with my lipstick mark and their fingerprints all over the glass. Excuse was that the bottle was opened yesterday! Pizza was tasty but all-in-all, extremely dissatisfied. The champs should have been comped considering all the hassle. Very unprofessional. Sorry, we were really hoping to love this place but likely will not return with so many other options and far better service/value.
Food are good but was coming out slow. Our waiter was very nice and friendly but we have to ask to fill our water every time.
Food was awful the short ribs where brunt and rubbery like the where microwaved. The signature dish bolognese looked like it sat in the window under the heat lamp for 5 mins and didn’t have much flavor. Our appetizers came out a min before our entrees. The manager took off the short ribs but never came by our table. Me and my wife are both general managers at other local restaurant. The manager needs to stop by a table when they don’t eat there food. Wasn’t looking for free stuff just better quality. After we left north Italia we went over to Grand Lux and got a great meal
Great atmosphere. Limited menu but everything was good and fresh. Our server was great.
Food was fantastic
I love this place for food & service with open space & pleasant interior.
New Years Eve
There were 4 of us dining, and None of our dishes came out together- even the dessert course. I’m talking 10 or more minutes difference from when our friends courses were served. There were apparently issues with power in the kitchen, but our waiter didn’t bother to tell us until after we asked someone else nearby. Things happen, but the server should have kept us informed. Even after we complained and our food finally came out- he never came back to check on us. Very disappointing, won’t be back.
Went for NYE Pre fixe dinner. Had a wonderful, attentive server. Unfortunately beyond her control the kitchen was backed up due to power issues and we waited almost 1.5 hrs for our dinner.
She did comp us on wine and cappuccinos and apologized profusely.
Nice ambience and overall a very nice place!
Service was terrible. 50 minutes from ordering to appetizers. Main course was disappointing. Pasta in clumps and overcooked. Prefix menus are supposed to help with faster service. We observed the opposite. Lots of staff around but observed more chatting than working. Could not tell if any management was on staff.
Dinner was amazing. I loved the atmosphere and everything from the appetizer to tiramisu. The entrees were creative and full of flavor. Looooved the blue crab risotto. If you are reading this, go to this place. I know good food, I dont eat slop and haven't had fast food in years because I'd rather starve. Keep up the good work.
New Years Eve menu was very good and food preparation was excellent. We did have an issue with food being served to only 2 out 3 in our party with the first two courses. It took over 5 minutes longer for the 3rd person to get served.
Quiet night considering it was NYE. Food was great. Set menu was well thought out. Great value for a 3 course.
Deja our sever was the greatest. Yummy cocktails. Great ambiance. The pasta was good. The pizza was a little too salty.
Great atmosphere especially around Christmas time, you feel as if you are in a Christmas Wonderland because of the decoration the mall has on the outside and good food!
The food was very good and came out quickly. Prices were reasonable for KOP Mall.
Food is great and service is exceptional. Lindsay is absolutely awesome!
Kind of a bummer tonight - restaurant was out of several items, the kitchen was having trouble keeping up and they were low on silverware. Super disappointing as we are regulars and have never experienced anything like this before. Bummer 😢
The very pleasant staff made lots of mistakes which they addressed quickly.
Liked it a lot. Food was great and so was service. It has a nice look to it inside and out. Maybe it was just magical with all the Christmas trees lit up outside. Truffle garlic bread was amazing. Both entrees which was scallops and Bolognese were very good.
We ended up at North Italia since our go to for Christmas Eve has closed. We had a great meal especially appetizers- calamari ,meatballs, arancini. All outstanding!
Would have liked a more quaint cozy atmosphere but this served its purpose. All enjoyed!!
The food was absolutely wonderful and the ambiance was nice as well. Our server was kind friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back
Tried North Italia for Christmas Eve dinner. Generally happy with the choice. Four adults, two kids (13 and 9.) Server was excellent! Very attentive, answered our questions well, easy to understand. Food was also excellent! Had the bread and olive oil to start, very good. Had various entrees and salads - all good. Pizzas were a good personal size, maybe even split if not that hungry. Burrata Tortelloni was good - but small. If hungry, look elsewhere. Strozzapreti was split between two adults and was about the same size as the single Burrata. Both very good though.
The eh - service was slow. Not sure if the kitchen was short due to the holiday, so giving the benefit of the doubt. From sitting down to entrees was probably 1.5 hours though. Only had the bread app to share. Spouse had a coffee with a Bailey's side car - was MAYBE half a shot, $9.50. Son got the donut holes! Really good - I asked for a second as my dessert, but never arrived and didn't want to re-ask because we were ready to go.
Would probably try again when not a holiday.
Amazing food and stellar service every time!!!
Liked it so much we bought gift cards for gifts when we left.
NI is one of my favorite restaurants and despite my most recent unpleasant experience, I’m going to chalk it up to an aberration and continue to keep it on my ‘fav’ list. First, I’ll start by saying anytime I plan a date with a friend who has never been there, I always recommend NI. It was disappointing to feel rushed to order after we arrived, despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy. We were told that the oven was inoperable which limited the menu. I ordered the Caesar salad with salmon. I was dissatisfied with the salmon - it was undercooked, but nevertheless, I ate it. Halfway through lunch, the restaurant filled with smoke and it smelled like something was burning. This went on for about 15-20 minutes. Patrons were clearly concerned and were asking about the issue. We also heard what sounded to me like plates dropping on the floor. Before departing, we went to the restroom, and when we went to wash our hands, only the hot water worked from one faucet and neither faucet was securely mounted in the sink. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed for recommending the restaurant to my friend who had never been there before. Again, I know this is certainly not the norm, but since you asked...🤷🏽♀️
Our waiter, John was fabulous. Super friendly and fast!
Anthony and Julis were great bartenders. We’ve been coming a lot and it’s been excellent. However tonight something was happening because the restaurant was filled with a lot of smoke. It seemed to take a long time to clear out the air as it was very smoky. The temperature in the restaurant was extremely hot as well and actually uncomfortably warm.
Very enjoyable experience. Service was great. Noise was loud. Would definitely go back
We arrived around 4:45 for an early dinner before a hockey game. We were seated right away however, no server came over to take our order. We waited about 15 minutes before a manager realized we looked like we had been waiting awhile. She asked if we could he been helped yet. When we said no, she sent a bar tender over. What was very confusing was there was lots of staff standing all around but no one offered to help us.
Then the kitchen burned something. It smelled so bad and the restaurant started to get all smokey. They needed to open up the doors. It was 22 degrees outside. It got very cold inside very quick. The doors stayed open for about 10 minutes and then the kitchen did it again. They had to open the doors again. I don’t know what’s going on there. They have lots of staff but apparently no one is really paying attention to what they are supposed to be doing. Staff seemed to be standing around talking to each other.
The food was good for the most part, except for my husbands spaghetti. It was over cooked he said it was rubbery and didn’t eat it.
This was only the second time at this restaurant and I don’t think we will be going back there anytime soon. It’s a shame, because the restaurant is cute inside and the food is decent. The staff really needs to get their act together. :(
I took my group to lunch at North Italia. Everything we ordered was good. Three of us got a pizza. The pizzas are big enough for two people, so those three people each took home half a pizza. I got the grinder with fries. The fries were seasoned with Rosemary, which makes them OK (not great) but the grinder (served in a round bun) was excellent! The hamburger also got rave reviews, as did the chicken sandwich. The food here is very good. I recommend it.
