North Italia In King of Prussia
North Italia King of Prussia is located in the mall’s exterior corridor between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus.
Our meal was outstanding and our server was very educated about all of the food.
excellent service, good food, ok ambience, great cocktail menu
Was out of a lot of dishes. Some dishes came out late. And one thing was burnt.
The food was amazing! The services was also amazing! Food came out fast and hot! My new favorite spot at KOP
The food is always good. Though my friend & I ordered the same salad and hers seemed to be larger. Our service was fair and the restaurant was not that busy. I had to keep asking the server for things over & over.
The service was horrible. Our appetizer was cold. The drinks were overpriced. I had to wait 30 minutes just for a box which the server forgot and had to go back for. Our drinks were empty most of the time. And our server would disappear for 20-30 mins at a time and didn’t check up on us. I would rate this restaurant a 2.5/10 and wouldn’t go back again
Great food and great service
This is unfortunately one of those instances where you’ve been waiting ages to experience a restaurant, based on others feedback, and when you go yourself, there was still something left to be desired. The food was fantastic, and the employees were very nice, but the entire food and drink service was inconsistent (hard to say if this was a kitchen or server issue) which made enjoying the entire meal difficult. That being said, this wasn’t enough to deter future visits, as the quality of the food really speaks for itself - besides, all restaurants/servers have an off day!
Great food and service - definite repeat , enjoyed first visit during restaurant week
Good service and environment! Food was absolutely delicious
We enjoy the pasta dishes. Service can be slow but the wait staff is very nice.
Inside is a bit loud and the hostess is not accommodating to outside seating even though there is PLENTY of space but the food was decent and the server was sweet.
To be honest, the night got off to a bit of a rough start. We arrived and checked in with the hostess. We reserved outside seating and the patio was completely empty except of one table of two. The hostess said she would be with us shortly after checking us in, I let her know we would be waiting outside (due to COVID concerns). We were standing outside for approximately 5-7 minutes. My father, who is 77, was ready to just sit down, so I went back in to see how much longer until we could sit (on a near empty patio) and explained the older person in our group just needed to sit. I asked if we could just sit anywhere and was told "no, because the tables are assigned certain servers". I asked how long and she said soon and I inquired how long that would be. The hostess said exasperated, In like 5 minutes and added "when you are ready to be seated, you will be". I almost requested a manager then and had a thought to just leave but almost immediately a gentleman came out to seat us and offered us ANY table on the patio. Surprising, since the hostess told us we could not just sit down so my elderly father could relax. The rest of our experience was great. Our server and food was amazing.
I used to work as a hostess and am aware that sometimes the kitchen is overwhelmed or other reasons they may try to stagger seating. However, since I asked for a seat for my elderly father, she could have offered us a seat but explained why someone may not be able to get to us right away. The FOH staff should be trained in costumer service and manners.
Personally, it was nice, unfortunately my orders kept getting sent to me incorrectly because I’m vegan and I guess sometimes it’s hard to remember what I’m allergic to, but they were nice and prompt about correcting any errors. It’s very pretty inside as well! Nice change of pace!
Our server was so nice to us, he could literally have told me to get anything on the menu and I would!
Quickly becoming a favorite go to place. Nice variety of menu and drink options as well as unique offerings I haven't seen at other restaurants.
service was hit or miss, seemed a bit unorganized. food was decent, nothing over the top. would return as staff seemed pleasant enough.
Our service was very poor. It took awhile just to order our drinks and our food. Our appetizers came out before our drinks. When we asked if the drinks were still being worked on the waiter said “what drinks”. Our lunch took about 2 hours due to the slowness but at least the food was good.
Great food, good cocktails and excellent service. Can’t ask for more!
We (the four of us) were amazed at how LOUD the music was being played. It was only 11AM and virtually empty, yet it sounded like 2AM in a place full of booze hounds. The food was no better than one would find in any hash house -- but priced like the place was a fine French restaurant. The prices for coffee and cola were ridiculous: $3.75. Ours was a one-time trip. Never again.
This was our (My Wife and I) first dining experience at North Italia and from the minute we entered the Restaurant until the minute we left, it was great! The food was delicious and our waitress, Zipporah, was outstanding!!!
It was great! The food was so tasty & the service was outstanding! Jessica dud a GREAT job & was so personable! I would definitely eat there again.
Absolutely lovely. We had Ronell as our waiter who was so sweet and fun to talk to. Will absolutely be back!
Service and Ambience were fabulous!! We chose the restaurant week menu. The meatball appetizer was god but nothing special; The burrata tortelloni was disappointing...the pasta pockets were not filled very well and the dish overall was salty. No bread was served..I found that odd for an Italian restaurant....but not sure if that was due to the Restaurant week menu. I appreciated that they allowed me to substitute a cappuccino for the dessert in the fixed menu
That said, I priced out each of the selections individually on their regular menu and the price we paid for Restaurant week (which I assumed would be a better deal than ordering everything off the main menu) was actually .50 higher than if we had ordered off the main menu. I certainly don’t care about spending the extra .50 but was disappointed by the deal that I thought we were getting.
But given the impact Covid has had on the restaurant industry, I was glad to participate in the event and gave our server a 30% tip—he was really good.
All around very good food. Ambiance and service was good. Will definitely be back.
Good food. Terrible service by a nice and very apologetic server. 25 minutes to receive our drinks after ordering them. They were out of several wines and entrees on their menu. This is for a 5:15 Saturday evening seating. Our server was very nice but had far too many tables to be even remotely attentive. The table next to us were brought their appetizer AFTER they finished their meal. They sent it back understandably. We had ordered the same appetizer and were served within 3 minutes of having ordered it. Recycled? Almost certainly. It was tasty as were the entrees and desserts.
Service was very slow. Wine was very expensive for what it was.
My last experience wasn’t very good but I said I would post an update on a return visit. Well I went April 10th and everything couldn’t have been better. Whatever changes were made in the kitchen it paid off. Food was delicious, cooked to perfection. Service was great, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend! I will definitely be going back.
Food was decent. Very slow. It took about an hour to get our food. People were getting served even though they arrived later than us.
Comedy of errors all night. Place was empty at 715pm. 10 minutes to get drinks at the bar. Broken terminal at the bar so couldn’t pay out bill. Out of numerous dishes yet waitress never advised as we reviewed the menu. Told as we tried to order them. Food was average at best. Chicken parm so salty. Place used to be very good. We won’t be back.
I have been here several times and this past week was disappointing. My friend ordered the shrimp scampi and was told they had no shrimp. I ordered meatball appetizer and the meatballs and polenta weren’t warm but I ate them anyway. My friend asked for
caesar salad and was told they have no dressing. After dinner she ordered a
coffee and was told they had run out. These are basic items, nothing major so why would you not have them? Restaurants are operating at a reduced capacity and these items should be on hand. Okay so we excused the shrimp but the salad dressing and the coffee should have been on in stock. The waitress while kind, didn’t even offer my friend a free cappuccino (she ordered that since the coffee was out of stock). She didn’t send a manager over to out table either. That should have been a given since they were out of three things we attempted to order
Updated 4/23: I have not gotten any feedback from the restaurant, nor their corporate office regarding my dining experience. Poor customer service all around which is a shame because I really like their food.
update 4/26: still nothing from the restaurant or corporate office
I've always enjoyed North Italia. The food was excellent but, this time, the service was little spotty. I hope it improves.
This place never disappoints. Food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and kind.
Absolutely amazing. Customer service was great!! They went out of their way to make our moms birthday special.
Outside patio on a beautiful spring afternoon. Covid-safe atmosphere. Great service. Will go back.
Amazing service and great menu!
