North Italia In King of Prussia
North Italia King of Prussia is located in the mall’s exterior corridor between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus.
We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Will definitely return.
Went for restaurant week and even though it was very crowded we had excellent service from Daniel. Food is always good but wish they would serve another type of bread,it’s good grilled on appetizers but not the right type for bread and butter. Love sitting at the bar for drinks where Harrison does a excellent job. Also loved seeing the manager reset table when they got busy so customers waiting could get their table faster. Good job guys!
The Chicken Parmesan is a must
I was visiting family and friends in PA, from Arizona, with my girlfriend. I had suggested that we all meet at this location because we love Fox concepts and my girlfriend works for Olive & Ivy in AZ. My cousin and his wife came down from Maryland and met us at North. Everything was phenomenal. The server and GM took such great care of us! They definitely made sure to treat us just like family! Next time we are in PA we will definitely be back! The food, service, ambiance...everything was on point!
Good food, good service, nice ambiance, very long wait times for courses. 2+ hour dinner for just 2 people late on a Saturday.
For the price of the food, it was okay. Portions okay. Service was great. Wish they would have had grated parmesan cheese instead of what seemed like Kraft from a plastic bottle in dish on side. Had to ask for bread. Bruschetta was not what was expected.
One of my favorite go-to restaurants at KOP! The food is always delicious. Went there for restaurant week, the salad course was the best! It had great flavor. Loved the atmosphere, our waiter was wonderful. He answered all our questions and had great suggestions on which dish to pick. The only downside was the wait, even though we had reservations, we didn’t get seated until half hour later... this could be due to restaurant week. The dessert was ok, could have better options. Chose the tiramisu, it was more of a pudding. Overall had a wonderful dining experience.
We got a great table next to the kitchen although they first tried to put us at a high top that we didn’t want. After we were seated things went smoothly and the food was excellent. Kale soup was amazing. Portions were perfect. Dessert was fabulous.
Our family went for a birthday. Everyone’s meal was delicious! You wanted to taste off of each dish. Our server Mike was great. Nice, knowledgeable about wines and good preparation. Entire staff was sweet and helpful. Can’t wait to go back in the warmer weather yo sit outside and try some of the signature cocktails. Our group was from age 12-75 and no one was disappointed!
The drinks , food and dessert we're amazing !! The women who seated us tonight was wonderful " desani"? I believe her name was. People like her belong in hospitality.
It was restaurant week, so I had a great 3 course dinner for $30. I had the salmon which was really good and my husband enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. The salted caramel budino was amazing for dessert.
My go to place at the Mall. Great food, wonderful cocktails and warm ambience. Cannot wait until the patio opens
We went here to take advantage of the restaurant week menu. It was a good value for the food, and the wine we ordered was also good value. In addition, while the space is open with big windows, the decor is a little mismatched - we're not sure what vibe the were going for? However, the restaurant staff did not seem ready to take care of a restaurant week crowd. It took them 15 minutes to seat us after our reservation time and our waiter seemed slightly out of it (he charged one credit card two times instead of charging two cards once). I wouldn't go back if it weren't for the special menu deal.
Good family dining. The boys like chicken Parm and Caesar salad. I had the mushroom pasta. Don’t be a scared veggie eater. Squash and Brussels sprouts were in good portion and did not overwhelm the dish. Skip the tiramisu and go for the salted Carmel dessert instead. Red sangria was a good choice as well.
Food was delicious.
Loved it and will return!!!
We had a reservation for 730 and didn’t get seated til almost 810 (were told it’s a 15 minute wait). The staff were very friendly as it was restaurant week and busy. Food is great, servings were big!
The food was phenomenal. From the appetizers to desserts, everything was spectacular and very fresh!
Great meal durning restaurant week. A bit louder than normal but it was more crowded on a weeknight. Food was very good. I don’t care for their happy hour wines or sangria.
Great food - everything is fantastic. You can't make a bad choice for starters, small plates, salads and mains.
Dessert needs one small change. The tiramisu needs to be better, I did not like the little chocolate balls. I'm all for innovation but I think tiramisu is one of those things people tend to compare to others they've had in the past. I recommend they just focus on making an authentic awesome version and ditch the glass mug it comes in. The talent at N I is capable of much better. But I still love this place and the tiramisu is a minor issue in the big picture
Went during the Restaurant week. We got the $30 package-appetizer, entree and dessert. Everything was superb! Food, service and ambiance! Highly recommended!
The short rib radiatori was outstanding...the short rib was very tender and delicious
It's okay. Not great, not horrible. It's worth a shot if you're at the Mall but it's not a destination stop.
During restaurant week, the menu choices were okay, but not that great a value. Better Italian food elsewhere.
It’s alittle noisy. It was restaurant week and they were very crowded and had to wait for food and check. We waited 30 minutes for dessert. I would try for lunch next time.
Food was excellent. Service was good. Menu was broad with variety. Setting with open kitchen was very nice. Just wish yiu didn’t have todesl with mall parking
everything was really delicious. Nary a complaint from any of us.
This restaurant was very cute, but the food was not good. I got the short rib pasta and it was a scoop of pasta for $22. Not to mention it tasted like someone squeezed a full lemon over it. Lemon was not in the description at all. 3 people got this dish at our table and it tasted the exact same. The only compliment I have was the one person who just couldn’t handle the lemon asked for another meal and they replaced it with no questions. Overall, I will not be back. Too pricey for the amount of food you get.
My husband and I went for restaurant week and this place did not disappoint! We went a little early for happy hour and got the chef’s board & wine combo. The board was absolutely delicious and was PLENTY of food for the two of us. The red wine was also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices from the restaurant week menu. I got the arancini, the mushroom tortelonni, and the tiramisu. My husband got the Italian farm salad, the salmon, and the salted caramel dessert. The mushroom tortelonni was SO tasty and very satisfying. Everything was absolutely perfect except for the desserts. The tiramisu didn’t have too much flavor except for the cocoa powder on the top and the salted caramel dessert was WAY too sweet.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at North Italia. We even went back the next night just for their happy hour! We got the chefs board & wine again (this is a fantastic deal at only $20!) We also got the pizza of the day which had brussel sprouts and butternut squash and OMG, YUM! We’re definitely looking forward to our next visit!
First time here and it was a great experience. Food was delicious and our server was wonderful, super pleasant and made some great lunch recommendations. Rubella and the seasonal salad both get a big thumbs up! We’ll be back!
We came here for a birthday celebration during King of Prussia's restaurant week. We won't be coming back. We had reservations but they had no table for us when we arrived. When we were finally seated, I was a bit annoyed to realize she was too short for the chair. I'm is 5'3 and my feet didn't reach the floor. I looked around and realized half the women in the restaurant were propping their feet up on the table base. Our waitress wasn't great. She asked if we were ready to order. I said, yes, but could I also get a straw for my drink. She got me the straw... and then disappeared. It was 10 minutes before she came back so we could order. The food took forever to arrive. I had the arancini for my appetizer, and it was the best part of the meal. For the entree, I had the chicken parmesan. It's one of my favorites and hard to mess up. North Italia found a way. The chicken was burnt on the edges and there was virtually no sauce on it. It was basically just a piece of over-fried chicken. It was paired with some cheesy pasta that I didn't really eat. Chicken parm is a pretty heavy dish, the last thing it needs is a side coated in cheese and cream. They never acknowledged the birthday, but we couldn't have cared less. We just wanted the meal to be over. It took us nearly two hours to get our three courses. Because we had a lot of free time while waiting for our food, we looked around and noticed the customers not ordering off the restaurant week menu got much faster service than the rest of us, and complimentary bread. Pretty snooty for a place that sells spaghetti and meatballs. I would recommend Maggiano's instead. Or literally any other Italian restaurant.
The food was very tasty, but the service was off. They may have just been overwhelmed, but we needed to ask for bread twice to get it, our appetizers came out at different times and the salads that were supposed to have Italian meats came out without any meat so then they brought a little bowl of sliced salami out to add. I loved the two walls of windows that let the whole restaurant fill with light.
Beautiful restaurant. The service was mediocre. We were left without refills on water for a long time and the wrong salad was brought. When we mentioned it, instead of bringing the correct one, the server came back with a plate of sliced up salami to add to it which still didn't make it as it was supposed to be. When we got the check, we were charged for 2 tiramisu's that we never ordered and had to wait to have it corrected. The food that we did receive correctly was very good.
We went for my mother’s 92nd birthday- I asked them to make it special but not much of anything was done - just a candle on her dessert plate was delivered
We had a wonderful experience for restaurant week at North Italia. Our server was on point from start to finish, the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and open and I love that you can see the kitchen cooking. We will definitely recommend and be returning.
Ambiance was nice. Very clean and bright. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was exceptional. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch or dinner...didn't try brunch but on the weekends that is also an option
Overall, not bad. However, we felt the pastas we got (short rib and mushroom) were overly greasy. The zucchini chips were great. The chicken Parm was good, but should’ve asked for it with traditional spaghetti as the butter Parmesan noodles it came with did not match well in my opinion.
Food and service was great. Mushroom tortellini was a huge 2 thumbs up! Salmon was cooked to perfection and the gelato was on point. We’ll be going again!
Second to no e!
Loved Everything about this Place! Food, Service, Relaxing Atmosphere! Can’t Wait to go Back ;)
