Second time was better than first. Enjoyed the Chicken Pesto pasta. It was fresh and yummy.
The staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I were there on a date. We were seated on the edge of the patio in a quaint little table surrounded by plants and a beautiful view of the city. I ordered the crispy chicken breast with Italian sausage milk gravy and hash browns, eggs and a side of fruit from the weekend brunch menu. My wife ordered chicken Alfredo with pasta and a Caesar salad. All of the food was cooked properly with the exception of the pasta which was a bit rubbery, but none of the food was seasoned at all. There was so much opportunity for flavor and it was wasted. The decor was nice. The staff was nice. The view was nice. They checked all the boxes but they neglected to really concentrate on the most important factor in the experience: The food. It was right there. They just need to reach out and grab the brass ring. Learn how to season and cook for flavor. This is a decent restaurant that has the opportunity to be a great restaurant if they take a few extra steps. Also, I ordered an Americano (the espresso drink, not the entree on the brunch menu) and the server brought me a latte. It was a lovely latte, but definitely not an Americano. When I asked her about it, she said it was an Americano. When I pointed out that it had cream and froth in it, she quickly and politely replaced it with an actual Americano. It pays to know your menu.
Overall, my wife and I had a delightful time in a pleasant environment with mostly good food. I hope the chef/cooks learn to season and prepare for taste. I look forward to returning when they do.
54th Wedding Anniversary
The food and service was excellent!
I'll recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!
Waitress did not put in order for appetizer when we checked on status. Brought out 5-minutes prior to our meal. Did not check on us and had to wait to make an additional order.
Fantastic all around, highly recommend.
Also, if you are attending an event at the AA Center....it's $20 parking and a 5 minute walk, I will always park and eat here and walk to the Venue!
We had to send back one cocktail and our Farmer’s table appetizer. All other food at our table was wonderful.
Their new brunch item Tenderloin of beef with sunny side eggs and rosemary bernaise was amazing!
Patio was lovely, food was good, service while efficient was not at all friendly.
Excellent service, food and atmosphere
It was very warm and loud inside the restaurant which made me feel sick. Too warm still to have it open air
Delicious food, great drinks and atmosphere. Outdoor area has amazing views of Dallas. Service was great!
Outstanding and very authentic Italian food. Charming covered terrace. Our server was incredibly helpful and responsive. Really impressive wine list as well. Cannot wait to return!
Great food, great drinks, great view.
Food was just ok. Service was decent. Nice atmosphere.
Chicken was so rubber it could’ve been a spare tire
Michael was absolutely delightful, great recommendations and excellent service! We originally went to the location in Nashville so happy to have a location in Dallas!
Good place for dinner date on a week night. Highly recommend.
Delightful! We arrived and the host let us go to the bar and get a drink for happy hour before seating us for our reservation. We were taken to a table and I asked if we could move to the open booth and they allowed it which made our dinner even more pleasant. Waiter was a little slow but once we flagged him down he was more on top of it and it was a great experience.
Celebration with the family in town
It was great experience! Eve tone was helpful and the food was delicious!
We loved it
Had the pizza special. Super great and the crust was perfect!
Great service, best downtown view, food was delicious!
Great ambience and atmosphere. The Zucca Chips were amazing - the lemon dressing on the salad I ordered was too sour, but overall had a great time! My friend ordered a Ranch Water with her meal, she said it was the best she’s ever had!
Our server was awful. Not attentive and could barely hear him.
It was average.
Service was very slow for restaurant being empty. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry but food was good.
Everything was super good! I love the aesthetic of the restaurant. I ordered the ginger blossom margarita and the chicken parmesan. The margarita was refreshing and my dinner was perfect. :)
Great service, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!
Went to North Italia in Washington DC. Not comparable. My Dallas North Italia Seasonal Vegetable Salad was a side palate with everything mixed together and overcooked Salmon along with a piece of black avocado mixed in. My Washington DC North Italia Seasonal Vegetable Salad came on a platter with fresh ingredients all separated and a perfectly cooked medium rare piece of Salmon. In fact I was asked how I would like my Salmon cooked.
Service in the Dallas location was very slow for 4:30pm and can only surmise the salad assembler was new. I could have saved the money I paid for a mediocre meal, bought the ingredients myself and done a better job.
Excellent service and delicious food and cocktails
Should’ve written this sooner because I forgot his name…tall bartender with a beard, works on Thursday and Sunday - was fantastic. I’m disappointed I can’t remember but feel like it was a fairly uncommon one…dang. Anyway, go here.
The location and patio seating were such a great experience! Our service however was below par! We put our entire order in the first time the waiter came to our table: app, entree, drinks etc. Our app came out and about twenty minutes later the waiter stopped by and asked us if we were ready to place our entree order….which we had at the very beginning, he even repeated it back to us! The waiter didn’t stop by our table often and he kept refilling my iced tea that all the ice had melted from so I kept getting luke warm refills. With so many restaurant choices in DFW service is huge and our experience was really disappointing.
Food was so good and our server was excellent, the decorations and arrangement was very pretty and it was a perfect date night restaurant, we will be back!
We had a nice dinner on the patio. Service was excellent.
Terrible food and it was cold
Great service. Delicious food, excellent recommendations by the wait staff. Stumbled onto restaurant while visiting.
Wait staff was unattentive. Dinner brought before appetizer & salad plates were cleared. STROZZAPRETI had ABSOLUTELY NO flavor - was not seasoned at all. Very disappointing.
One of our favorite spots to go. We have been to several North locations at various cities. This location just doesn’t seem to have it together. The food is always delicious; however, the service was not attentive. We had gone to brunch and ordered an appetizer. The appetizer did not come out until after we received our entrees. The server said it was due to the kitchen being backed up, but the restaurant wasn’t full—I’m guessing they forgot to ring it in. Overall, this North location has some tweaking to do for us to want to come back.
