   Service was good, although never asked about a 2nd glass of wine. My bolognese pasta was OK and overcooked.

   The staff needs to work TOGETHER! The service was very very slow. The staff should have been helping each other. The waitress was overwhelmed, and the bar staff and others were standing around. They could’ve been helping her by asking if we needed another drink, delivering plates, clearing plates, etc….but instead they just watched from afar. Hmm. The food for the most part was good, love the ambience. Music was too loud, and the air condition was cranking on a cold day (so customers were freezing). The manager never popped over to ask how everything was. A little team work would go a long way at this place.

   Overall the food is pretty good, there were just a few things that left us disappointed. For starters, I initially booked a brunch reservation solely based off of planning to get the banana coffee cake, only to get there and they had ran out…. At 1:30pm…. And their brunch is until 4pm. I just felt like they could have planned better considering it was Mother’s Day and it’s obviously a crowd favorite. Secondly, they were all out of sausage gravy for the pollo fritto. The food that we did receive, however, was pretty good, although the tuscan hash with short rib was much too salty. The crab cakes benedict were great and the crispy potatoes they serve with it are probably some of the best potatoes I have had! The lasagna bianca left a bit to be desired, seeing as though they only put about 1/4cup of short rib on top of the dish, it is not all throughout. Overall, I would definitely give them another try, I guess because of the holiday they were just a little off

   Our service MC was so nice and pleasant! She always had a smile on her face she did a great job! Food was delicious, we are repeat customers have always enjoyed our dinner Only complaint is it’s very noisy in the restaurant but besides that we had a nice evening!

   We sat at the bar - service was good, food arrived quickly, wine and food were great! Had the grilled bread and the meatball and polenta small plates - both were delicious and beat out our favorites from other CLT staple Italian restaurants!

   I came here on a Monday for lunch to celebrate my sister‘s birthday. We had the best time. Everyone helped make her birthday celebration very special. Thank you. I highly recommend this North Italia location. Beautiful setting, exceptional service and food!
