Not at all the quality of food and service we experienced our first visit in June. In fact it was 180 degrees opposite. Food was not hot and chicken too tough to chew. No one refilled water glasses or our prosecco glasses. Minimal attention from waitress. We will not be able to recommend NI to anyone now while we touted everything last time. So sorry to scratch them off our list but inconsistencies like this makes another visit too risky with so many other reliable choices nearby.

The food was delicious and love the atmosphere and decor. However, there were just too many flies and gnats inside the space. My wife and I were constantly swatting and trying to keep our food covered. It was just too much and ruined an absolutely delicious lunch.

This is probably the third or fourth time we’ve dined at the Birkdale Village location. Love this restaurant…the food is fantastic, and the service is always on point. The outside (covered) seating area and the bar are our favorite spots to sit and have a few drinks and apps or dinner/lunch. We’ve always enjoyed everything we order. This restaurant is located in the best spot (in Birkdale Village) with such a cool vibe and upscale feel. It’s in the middle of all the excitement! The staff have always been amazing. We’re Italian, cooks and very picky eaters, especially at pricier restaurants, and North Italia never disappoints! Highly recommend!

The service was exceptional. The food was very good, especially the crushed meatball ragu and bucatini, branzino, and the squid ink pasta. The latter was truly exceptional. The Chef board was also a delight. The New Italia Spritz was not as a good a regular Aperol or Limoncello spritz. The only knock on the night.

Our visit was amazing. Our server was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious, but the bartender was shaking up his drinks the entire night which was directly across from us and my right ear is still ringing from the shaking.

Although the focus here is Italian food, I decided to try some seafood tonight and ordered their scallops. My mistake! Although the scallops looked seared, I took my first bite and almost spit it out. It was raw on the inside! I flagged down our server and she said they would remake it. For the first 5 minutes I sat there watching my wife enjoy here meal. A manager finally came over and asked me how I wanted my scallops cooked! He tried blaming the waitress for not asking me that question. I have never been asked in ANY restaurant before, how I wanted my scallops cooked. I don't mind that they cook made a mistake. I very much minded that the manager tried to put the problem on our server and on myself for not specifying that 'I prefer my scallops COOKED PLEASE' ! Additionally it took at least 10 more minutes before my recooked order arrived. The free dessert the manager offered was fine, but quite frankly, I should have had my dish removed from the bill. Do better North Italia!

The food isn’t consistent I have visited this location 5x since opening. The menu doesn’t have a variety as before and other locations.
