The food was fantastic! The service wasn't. As far as I could tell, the restaurant wasn't busy. Our drinks weren't refilled. The food we had was messy. There was no check in to ask for more. The food was really good. I will go back and hope for better service.

This was our second visit here. Sat at bar both times. Will food is good, service is terrible. Bar tender was in our constant view and we were patiently waiting to be served drinks, water, anything. This was all happening while manager sat at bar on laptop talking to a female friend or employee possibly. Smiles were hard to come by let alone any level of average customer service. Did I mention we were the only customers at bar other than group on patio and a few tables filled inside. Disappointing as we are always looking for new places in our rotation.

The staff is awesome, quick, nice and accommodating. The golf simulator room is awesome for a group of people as well. Lastly, the food is amazing and so are the drinks. Great atmosphere for anyone! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Good food and drink options, Plus you can eat inside or out. Outside is nice but it is a little close to the road but that didn't bother us. Plus it's a good spot for a larger group

We had 4:30 reservations on Monday 6/12/2023. Received two reminder emails/texts to make sure we would be there. They are scheduled to open at 4pm on Monday. We got there and the doors were locked; walked around and could see/find no one. We called and no one answered. We then decided to carpool to another restaurant in the area. After a leisurely dinner elsewhere we returned to our cars at North High and found it was open!!! One of our group called and found out they had a pilot light issue and opened later. So, why did they not call or send an email/text to this effect, or at the very least put a sign on their door? BAD business practices

We waited over 45 minutes for our appetizers. Then another 35 for our entrees. My entree was the blackened shrimp and it came out plain. We had three ice teas and she brought us beers..one for my 14 year old son 🤦🏼‍♀️

The place was energetic, and the food was good, but portion sizes of mains was very small for the price. Margarita tasted bitter, like from a mix. Double dip nachos were thin and crunchy so were ok. The blackened salmon was very lightly seasoned and cooked as ordered, but my partner's shrimp bowl included only six shrimp and he was still hungry after. It's a shame, because well located, but high cost for the food.

Food was great however the service was lack luster. Our server...didn't get her name...receipt said David Bowie, never brought refills, said the carnitas bowl was the same as the carnitas tacos-they are not! We never got our appetizer until after our meal. Said it was a kitchen issue...but other tables got theirs. Every table she had had issues. Had to chase her down to get the check then was extremely unprofessional about who was going to pay. If we ever come back will not be asking for her. Host and other person bussing tables never acknowledged anyone. Never saw a manager when every single table was having issues with this server.

What a strange place. Absolutely no ambiance. Place is built literally in the parking lot and the concrete is filthy. We were sat “outside” and the atmosphere is terrible. The food was OK. We had the Cobb salad and salmon bowl. Both are fine. There were 5 people in the place total during lunch hour. Service was very slow. Won’t be back. No reason to return. So many other comfortable options with better menu food and service.

First time to North High. Not the best first impression. Hostess was not friendly as we walked in. Server was poorly trained. Did not even introduce themselves. Just threw glasses of water on the table. Could hardly hear the server, not because of noise, but because they were not trained to have volume or to be personable to the customer. Food was good, but overpriced for the portions. $16 nachos? Appetizer comes out before drinks? The server also starts to clear plates as we are still eating, reaching and leaning in to us as we ate. They have you pay at the table with a small card reader. The server walks up after we say we wan the check and just announces the total. No way to review bill to check for accuracy. Had to ask to see bill. Also, very uncomfortable to review bill and decide on a tip while server hovers over the table waiting. Poor, poor service. I don’t lay this all on our server. The management should do a much better job making sure waitstaff know how to manage a customer and be personable. Not sure we will return because of this experience.

Figuring out how to get to the restaurant and parking in Kenwood can be tricky. The restaurant was warm and comfortable-not loud, and we were there on a Friday for dinner. The food and service were wonderful. Also a good value for your money.

First time here. Got to sit in outside part which was a little chilly but will be nice when it’s warmer. Chicken tacos and burgers were great. Honey bbq wing sauce was one of the best we’ve ever had. Obviously good beer but drafts were a little limited which was surprising. Good spot behind Kenwood mall!

Good food. Strange ambiance. Non-existent service. It looked like part of the inside dinning room was closed off. The enclosed patio was where we were seated. Being seated at the patio on Valentine's Day was not what we were expecting. It was loud out there and difficult to have a conversation. Food was good but we never saw a server after our food was delivered. We would have ordered a 2nd round of drinks but we were never asked. I would return but not for a dinner date. Maybe something more casual. Again, the food was really good.

Had reservations, they were not very busy, but they sat us outside on the concrete patio despite there being plenty of more comfortable seating arrangements indoors. Both meals were very mediocre (carnitas bowl, Caesar salad) and without much flavor. Appetizer of double dippers, chips were excessively salty. I can see why they weren’t that busy on what should have been a packed Valentine’s Day dinner night. Will probably not be back.

This is our 4th visit to NHK and we absolutely love it. The environment is a bit on the darker side, which we love and the food is delicious! The staff was excellent with checking back in and keeping our drinks filled! We have had the wings, nachos, pretzels, burgers and pickle chips! Everything has been delicious! Looking forward to another visit to try the bowls. Craft Beer is delicious and they have a great bourbon selection as well. Don’t miss this gem in Kenwood.

Nice little brewery with good menu variety. We went on a Friday night and made a reservation which was not needed. I did request a car seat carrier which they didnt have and the host pretty rude about the fact that both their highchairs were in use. I requested a table near a wall to sit the car seat against the wall which she rolled her eyes at. After we finally sat down, everything was great.

The ambiance of North High Kitchen + Bar is really cool. I love the open air space. It was closed off with heaters for the winter but will be lovely during the warmer weather months. The service was good, food came out quickly. We ordered the Nachos which were huge. The chips really salty and overall just okay. We also got the chicken wings which were good! Nicely sauced and served with crispy celery. Drinks from the bar were nice. I love the punch bowl option. Nicer time! I would recommend as a great place for a causal dinner or to grab drinks with friends

We came in at 8:15. They said they were closing the kitchen in 15 minutes. The waitress brought all of our food at the same time. Typically the drinks are brought first followed by the salad, and then the main course. We ordered a take-out order that was brought out at the same time as well. We felt as if they did not want us to be there, and they were trying to push us out of the restaurant. This is very peculiar in that there were only three other parties in the restaurant, and it was the night of the national championship football game. As a consumer, you would think that the restaurant would like to make the most positive experience for the consumer so that we would come back and tell our friends. Instead, they made us feel unwanted and performed one of the most atrocious dining experiences that we have had in a long time. At the end of the meal, the waitress was reaching over our plates before we were even finished eating to clear the table. I cannot imagine that we will return to this restaurant.

Overall we enjoyed our dinner but the restaurant was pretty empty and it felt like we were sat in the server lounge, staff kept chatting about personal life directly next to our booth and it was pretty difficult to ignore causing it to be disruptive to our own conversation. The food was phenomenal just wish the servers were a little more conscious of where they’re hanging out.
