North Fork Table & Inn is closed for our annual winter break. We will be reopening for the 2022 season on February 10th. We look forward to seeing you then!

North Fork Table & Inn is an East End institution, celebrating the bounty of Long Island’s farm, vineyards & waterways.

Restaurateur & Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser and his team have revitalized the historic property and reimagined the dining experience, while staying true to the ethos he shares with founding owners. As a longstanding champion of farm-to-table philosophy, it has been John's dream to open a restaurant on the North Fork, surrounded by farms, vineyards and fisheries.

Absolutely stunning restaurant! The menu was great, as was the service. Couldn’t have been more happy with this spot! We came for brunch, but I would like to come back to the cozy bar by the fireplace. Highly recommend!!

Great ambiance, service was good, Could be wrong just sensed an attitude or inpatients probably a long night. At a place of high quality more professionalism is a must. Uniform no jeans would also make sense. Doesn’t have to be stuffy to be professional.

That said had the chef tasting with wine pairing, wine was good, overall Ingredients like cannelloni beans, Montauk tuna , fillet were very very good. Beans dish used simple ingredients and elevates it, hearty and delicious. Fillet was one of the best cooked and seasoned fillet rare I have ever had at a restaurant. Montauk tuna was insanely good. Def some interesting combinations of ingredients you wouldn’t think to put together that worked. The oysters first snack course was good not great in regards to freshness of the oysters. dessert was good apple and homemade vanilla ice cream just not my thing. Port wine last wine taste was delicious. Overall it was good, some portions good with average ingredients others like montauk tuna, and fillet were excellent. Room for improvement for the price but on the right track. Would try again.

Creative delicious food. the winter prix fixe contains many excellent choices. The timing of the meal was a little off (slowing considerably as we progressed, and way too drawn out waiting for dessert) but the servers were all polite and helpful. I would definitely go back.

We were very much looking forward to dining at North Fork Table & Inn, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. The decor is lovely, the bread was very good, our waitress had a kind demeanor and one of the food delivery staff was very well versed in describing the food he brought to our table. We had the chef's version of a tasting menu consisting of 6 courses and an amuse bouche. We're pretty adventurous eaters but there wasn't a single course that stood out as memorable. We also had trouble understanding the composition of about half of the courses, as they were off-menu and the food delivery staff member did not describe the plates as she delivered them. The restaurant is laid out so that it is easy to overhear nearby presentations by waitstaff and I noticed that communication about the menu items varied widely from waitperson to waitperson. I do wish I had something more favorable to report.

Wasn’t prepared for the very expensive price fixed menu coupled with the limited menu choices, none of which appealed to me. It was all prepared impeccably, just did not appeal to my taste. My husband loved his: pappardelle ($30 add on to the $90 meal) and duck.

First time dining at NF Table we opted for the three-courses (starter, entree, dessert). Each course was professionally served and well-presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Every bite seemed to reveal an interesting flavor and I found myself taking smaller bites than usual to more fully savor what the chef had carefully prepared. This was true for each course. Even the coffee had a robust taste. We will look forward to the next time we dine at NF Table & Inn.

We had dinner here this weekend. The booking process was seamless. They seated us at a lovely booth in the corner. The decor and ambience are fabulous. Modern, minimal, chic and cozy. The service was great and the wine list is extensive and there are many fine wines. But, the reason one goes to a restaurant is for the food and here NFT fell short. The appetizer of grilled clams was in a very tart red sauce. The combination was not pleasing to the palate. Our real disappointment was the special of the day that both my friend and I ordered. The grilled seafood plate was bland and tasteless. The slimy squid and seaweed salad was probably one of the worst squid preparations I have tried. The saving grace was the dessert. We both enjoyed the sticky pudding and another unusual interpretation of the French staple- Tarte Tatin. I hope the chef changes his unsuccessful attempts to alter tried and tested recipes and gives the diners what they came here for- local fresh produce and seafood cooked to perfection with tasty ingredients. We all love experimenting, but to pay $110 per head for a good dessert and a glass of Sancerre I was too much for us!

A comfortable, calm atmosphere. Very good, knowledgeable, upbeat service -- though some courses were slow to arrive. The baked clams, Southold Grill (a variety of seafood in a delicious broth), and duck were all excellent. Desserts, though good, were not at the same outstanding level as the rest of the meal (a step down from when Claudia Fleming was in charge of that course ...).

The dining room is stunning and low lit. We were unable to get a reservation until 8:45pm due to the high demand. We were seated promptly; however, our waitperson did not come to take our drink order until 30 min after our being seated. Afterwards, she was quick to bring us drinks, refills, amuse bouche, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Though no fault of the restaurant, we were seated next to a loud table of loud, drunk couples - one woman proceeded to pick up her long hair and practically put it in my (empty) wine glass which two servers immediately noticed, apologized and swiftly replaced my glass. The presentation, food, and ambiance were stellar. I would highly recommend this restaurant (and the 2nd level inn if staying in the area). We enjoyed the steak tartar, truffle tagliatelle, LI duck breast, filet mignon, carrot orzo, and sticky cake (accompanied by a local LI wine).

Mediocre food for what they are charging. Food came cold. We asked for a medium rare steak and got medium. Unacceptable in a high end restaurant. Overall, very disappointing compared to the old North Fork Table and Inn. It was not even close to the quality of the dining.

My wife and I both stayed at and ate at the North Fork Table & Inn for our anniversary. A reservation is definitely required for a Friday or Saturday night. The Inn has a varied wine list and small list of featured craft cocktails. The Stone Fruit Old Fashioned is delicious albeit a little sweet. It’s definitely a one and done drink. The I Came, I Saw, I Concord is a vodka base with fruity touches which was tasty. The French Apple Seventy-Five, however, is a champagne base with tea and fruit and was the table favorite by far. When it comes time for the meal, the staff is highly adept at recommending a complimentary wine. Tyler was full of great recommendations throughout the meal. We shared two appetizers, the broiled clams and the Shinnecock scallops. The scallops were tender and paired very well with the blackberry compote. The broiled clams were out of this world. One perfect bite. I would eat a thousand of these and happily order more. I cannot recommend these little treasures highly enough. The filet was definitely petite, but it was perfectly cooked with an outstanding flavor. The filet leaves plenty of room for more clams 😋. The lamb chops were tender and extremely flavorful and paired very well with the farro that accompanies it. Overall, the meal was exquisite. The prices are definitely not for the faint of heart, but you get what you pay for so it was worth it overall. We hear they offer chef’s tastings so we will definitely be back to try that.

OpenTable wouldn’t let me add the review of the Inn accommodations, but it is definitely worth it.

Can’t understand why it takes 15 minutes for a server to take a drink order and then another 15 minutes to receive those drinks ordered. The restaurant sells itself as a high end experience. We weren’t told about the specials for the evening. We discovered there were specials after the table next to us were told about them, but we had already ordered. The food is very good but overall a very frustrating experience. This was the second time with the same problems.
