North Fork Table & Inn
Restaurateur & Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser and his team have revitalized the historic property and reimagined the dining experience, while staying true to the ethos he shares with founding owners. As a longstanding champion of farm-to-table philosophy, it has been John's dream to open a restaurant on the North Fork, surrounded by farms, vineyards and fisheries.

Couldn't have been better perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Service was unbelievable. Food and drinks were fabulous. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Kaylie the manager was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Cannot wait to go back again!
Everyone and everything was great! Staff was very attentive and informative. Not a lot of variety but food we ordered was delicious!
Definitely a special occasion place for us. Active bar scene
Simply the best restaurant on the North Fork. Amazing drink menu as well.
A comfortable, calm atmosphere. Very good, knowledgeable, upbeat service -- though some courses were slow to arrive. The baked clams, Southold Grill (a variety of seafood in a delicious broth), and duck were all excellent. Desserts, though good, were not at the same outstanding level as the rest of the meal (a step down from when Claudia Fleming was in charge of that course ...).
Food and overall experience was excellent. Service left us unimpressed, but that is true in most places these days.
Impeccable in every aspect. Always. Order all the apps.
It's the perfect place for a special occasion, but the service can be a little slow.
The dining room is stunning and low lit. We were unable to get a reservation until 8:45pm due to the high demand. We were seated promptly; however, our waitperson did not come to take our drink order until 30 min after our being seated. Afterwards, she was quick to bring us drinks, refills, amuse bouche, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Though no fault of the restaurant, we were seated next to a loud table of loud, drunk couples - one woman proceeded to pick up her long hair and practically put it in my (empty) wine glass which two servers immediately noticed, apologized and swiftly replaced my glass. The presentation, food, and ambiance were stellar. I would highly recommend this restaurant (and the 2nd level inn if staying in the area). We enjoyed the steak tartar, truffle tagliatelle, LI duck breast, filet mignon, carrot orzo, and sticky cake (accompanied by a local LI wine).
our meals were excellent. salad was wonderful as was the pappardelle as appetizers.
the tuna and filet mignon were prepared to perfection
Fine dining at its best. No one else in the area comes close.
We had our first visit to the North Fork and this reservation was our best decision! The cozy space was exactly what we were looking for and our dinner melted in our mouths. The staff were so wonderful!
Mediocre food for what they are charging. Food came cold. We asked for a medium rare steak and got medium. Unacceptable in a high end restaurant. Overall, very disappointing compared to the old North Fork Table and Inn. It was not even close to the quality of the dining.
A nice server started our evening. He was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate us with a special request. Delicious meal! Nice wine! Lighting and decor in the restaurant were fabulous. A wonderful time! Thanks.
Incredible meal and service. Top to bottom it was an outstanding experience.
Everything was perfect. Great for a romantic dinner for 2
My wife and I both stayed at and ate at the North Fork Table & Inn for our anniversary. A reservation is definitely required for a Friday or Saturday night. The Inn has a varied wine list and small list of featured craft cocktails. The Stone Fruit Old Fashioned is delicious albeit a little sweet. It’s definitely a one and done drink. The I Came, I Saw, I Concord is a vodka base with fruity touches which was tasty. The French Apple Seventy-Five, however, is a champagne base with tea and fruit and was the table favorite by far. When it comes time for the meal, the staff is highly adept at recommending a complimentary wine. Tyler was full of great recommendations throughout the meal. We shared two appetizers, the broiled clams and the Shinnecock scallops. The scallops were tender and paired very well with the blackberry compote. The broiled clams were out of this world. One perfect bite. I would eat a thousand of these and happily order more. I cannot recommend these little treasures highly enough. The filet was definitely petite, but it was perfectly cooked with an outstanding flavor. The filet leaves plenty of room for more clams 😋. The lamb chops were tender and extremely flavorful and paired very well with the farro that accompanies it. Overall, the meal was exquisite. The prices are definitely not for the faint of heart, but you get what you pay for so it was worth it overall. We hear they offer chef’s tastings so we will definitely be back to try that.
OpenTable wouldn’t let me add the review of the Inn accommodations, but it is definitely worth it.
The food was incredible! A must if you find yourself out in on Long Island!
Table service was disappointing. Maitre'd was great.
Can’t understand why it takes 15 minutes for a server to take a drink order and then another 15 minutes to receive those drinks ordered. The restaurant sells itself as a high end experience. We weren’t told about the specials for the evening. We discovered there were specials after the table next to us were told about them, but we had already ordered. The food is very good but overall a very frustrating experience. This was the second time with the same problems.
Once again we had a great experience at North Fork Table & Inn.
Very nice experience, great food, great services
Very cozy atmosphere, sat right by the fire place near the bar. Very accommodating for a vegan
We were there a week before. During a weekday and had an overall great experience. However saying that went back with friends on Friday night and must say the service was not up to par. Food was again excellent but lacked good service. Had to keep on asking for our waitress.
Loved everything about this restaurant- exceeded our expectations!
Can’t wait to go again !
Food was ditsy. Chef has a predilection for salt and for gummy, fatty concoctions. Overpriced overall.
Absolutely fabulous in all respects
From the moment we walked in the restaurant everything was wonderful. Service good. Sommelier. Wait staff. Ambience. Cannot wait yo
Wow. Just wow.
Amazing cozy north fork venue. Check.
Incredibly staff - Brad, Dorian and Melanie behind the bar. Tight, professional, and impossible not to like. Check.
The best food on the east end. Check.
Overall a very nice experience.
Very nice experience only problem is that it is impossible to get a reservation.
Fantastic food and service to celebrate my birthday!
We go to the North Fork Table and Inn often and it never disappoints. Seasonal cocktails are delicious and the ambience in the restaurant is just perfect.
Excellent food and service
The waitress’s attention level was not what you expect at a fine dining establishment. Food was good. I have been coming here for years and I love what they did with the renovation but the last three times I have dined here the service has been sub par. Hostess was excellent and food runner was amazing!!!
North Fork always is a wonderful dining experience. Food and service was excellent from the moment we walked in to the time that we left. Have the duck. Have it twice!
Wonderful restaruant with perfect execution and food and a well trained staff. Even with a curve ball being thrown at the opertion due to a local watermain break down the street, the staff handled this with grace and professionalism. Well done.
One of my favorite restaurants as a local. But made a reservation for inside for a very special celebration, and was instead put outside and told there was an event. Service was disappointing and staff not as polished, as I experienced previous times. The food and superior service is why I've been a repeat and loyal customer. I hope the service is better next time, especially if you are excited to be celebrating a special night at the restaurant.
Alicia our server was wonderful. The food and settings were both great. Having candles on all the tables was a nice touch.
The North Fork Table is one of the best dining places in LI.
The food could not have been more fresh, more respectfully prepared. The tuna entree in particular was flat out the best tuna I’ve ever eaten — that includes NYC, LA, SF, Tokyo
