We were a party of 5 of which 3 were repeat visitors. Another excellent experience for our repeat diners. Excellent seafood and reasonable wine list with balanced selections from California and france.
Excellent as always.
Once again this restaurant does not disappoint. Service attentive and competent. Food well-made and not over-embellished. Limited menu, but something for everyone. Pricey, but no tipping policy. Will return.
Didn’t care for the chicken. Also I prefer shrimp already shelled. Not big on heads on.
Our third time to North End Grill, this is becoming a habit. We love it there, service is invisible and impeccable — your water glass is never empty and the staff is unobtrusive. I am in favor of the no-tipping policy, and fine with the price of the food, you can see the difference. The meal was fantastic, everyone left stuffed and satisfied. Oysters, oh my there were oysters. If you're looking for a place to impress a date, in-laws, family, anyone really, you can't miss with North End Grill.
Nothing short of perfect.
Amazing food an excellent service. Always on point.
Food was simply excellent. It was my first time there. Will def go back.
Best service ever! Enjoyed everything about that and the place. Love the no tipping part, too. Can’t wait to go back.
Great setting and menu. One of Meyers best, next to the Brookfield Place . The clam pizza and chocolate sorbet are my favorites but the whole menu it’s outstanding. Tip is included in the price.
I ate at North End Grill with my significant other on Valentine's Day and we had a very nice time. From the host to our server and the quality and care of the food, everything was excellent. If I were to eat there again the only thing I would change is my seat; we were at a table but a cozy corner booth would have made the experience even better. I really enjoyed that it was a no tipping restaurant. This is clearly reflected in the prices on the menu, but knowing up front exactly what you will pay was refreshing and the service was excellent.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The food lacks quality and taste. It was very disappointing.
Great all around.
Absolutely beautiful, with a great and delicious menu (including $1 oysters amidst all that swank).
Small portions plus inattentive, lackluster service makes North End Grill a do not repeat experience. Coffee was served 15 minutes before dessert and coffee refills were only offered after I asked.
Outstanding as usual.
The service was superb and the drinks were excellent. The food was amazing. This is definitely an excellent place to take your date. It was an upscale establishment that provided first class service.
Very nice evening, good food, great service!
Three of the main dishes were ‘not available’ on a Friday night at 8:00! Ridiculous-
You can’t run out of food early on a Friday!
Print another menu but you can’t come to the table 3 separate times. Disappointing.
Wonderful food and service. Very accommodating as we brought our own wine. Food very special without being to enhanced and elaborate. Efficient kitchen. Wonderful location near Conrad Hotel. Plan to return. Strongly recommend. Arctic Char fabulous. Shared with my husband and they were kind enough to split in kitchen. Great salad with amazing dressing. Every aspect was special.
Food was great, service was friendly and unobtrusive. The only disappointment was that there was no tomatoes on hand to add to my sandwich. I was told tomatoes were seasonal and not available.
We love anything Danny Meyer & NEG one of our neighborhoods favs !
Absolutely wonderful experience, North End is a “don’t miss” restaurant wether you’re a local or a visitor.
The place is nice, but wasn't wowed by my food. Duck was tough and the pairing with cabbage and an apple was heavy on the sweet, nothing to balance it out.
First rate food, wonderful staff, noise level wonderful for real conversation without straining to hear.
Great good, great service. They really do it right.
Superlatives in every way. Fabulous food, excellent service and great wine. Highly recommended and worth the trip to the slightly out-of-the-way place
Really nice food and great service. Love that the gratuity is included in the price. Large Wine and Liqueur selection.
Food was great, service fantastic, on the pricier side but tips are included in price so it's all good.
Great service as always!
This place never disappoints.
Great New Years Eve dinner and nice wine list! We will be back.
The service was outstanding - it was a wonderful evening.
Was horrific! It was very cold outside and when we came into the restaurant we asked for a table that was warm. We were then seated next to the vent that blew out COLD air for the entire lunch!!! When we told the waiter he said “yes it’s cold in here and the heat is not working well”. Not an apology or anything else. Awful would never recommend this to anyone
The food was great but the star was what stood out as the best.
Second time at North End Grill did not disappoint. Brought friends who indulged in a whiskey flight and they were impressed. Food, as always, fantastic; service was impeccable. We left full and satisfied, what more can one hope for?
Wish the greeters would wear something more than a sweater. It dumbs down the experience. If they want to wear casual , let them work for a startup app.
We had a part of 11, family gathering for the holidays. Overall, very nice experience--food and service we're very good.
We were visiting family in NYC & planned dinner at the North End Grill before going to the Celtics/Knicks game. We had a 5:30 reso but arrived at 5 to enjoy a drink in the lounge. Nice way to soak up the scene, enjoy group conversation & relax. We were escorted to our table with Monique as our server. She was such a lovely part of our experience. From the 4 of us, she answered questions about the wines, the local oysters, the philosophy of the restaurant and the menu. We shared a variety of delicious choices over a 3-course meal. Offerings like roasted whole fish & octopus were stand outs. We were never rushed & Monique made sure we were all set to get to the game on time. Absolutely recommend, we all thought it was perfect.

Steak frites was good but nice Martin is better
Duck very good
Bread so good
We so come back
