   Food was, on the whole, really good. Had 5 share plates and enjoyed all but one dish (broccoli which was over-cooked and just not very tasty). Unfortunately the service was terrible. We were seated with no menus and had yo ask for menus about 15 mins later. Were there for at least 35 mins before our food/drink order was taken, and it only got taken because someone working behind the bar had asked the waitstaff to take our order twice and they had ignored her so she took matters into her own hands. She was lovely and very apologetic but not enough to make up for everyone else. Staff were clearing and setting tables rather than serving people who were waiting, our empty dishes were not cleared, and there was definitely no way we were being offered a second drink or dessert. A shame, as it's a really cute place with a nice menu, but we won't be back.

   we had a 6pm booking. took over 30 minutes to order drinks. certain items on the menu were not available; however not advised until after order was placed. the service was very poor. food was cleared without asking if we were done.

   Absolutely nothing but quality food, flavours were amazing. Timing and portions were spot on! Loved every dish and drink. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Will definitelybe back and recommending to everyone!!!

   We've been going to North Bird for over 5 years, but sadly I have to say that over the past few years, it has been in an overall decline. The service we received recently was their worst, the staff didn't seem to know what was going on in a quiet period, and we (and other tables) waited for a long time for even a menu or water. They weren't attentive by any means, and has left us feeling that that will be the last time we visit what used to be our favourite restaurant. Everything has its day, and North Bird had its a while ago. A shame. The food, much like the service, wasn't worth the price or time we spent there. Nice, but no more.

   My friend and I have been coming to NorthBird for their Wednesday night special dinners for a while. The value is incredible. The food quality is amazingly high, with plenty to share and accommodating to dietaries if you need. The wine list is always excellent, if you feel that way inclined. Particularly, the earl grey pannacotta from the February 2024 menu will be fondly remembered.

   It was ok….food wasn’t excellent. Chicken was burned on the bottom. Beef ragu had very little beef. We both wanted the fish, by 7:30 they had run out. They had also run out of the only PetNat by the glass. Overall disappointing.

   I booked a table for 545, there was no coffee for espresso Martinis so ordered something else, there was no tomatoes on toast either there were 3 of us and food had run out but the server did not come back to take food order, drinks did not arrive and they hadn't started making them. We had a show to get to and explained this there were only 2 people out front I think. We were all very disappointed we cancelled the drink which still were not being made and left.

   Loved the vibe but half the menu not available, 2 out of 4 white wines not available. Serves were small and prices too high. Best thing was the music playing. Disappointing.

   2 people, 4 Course $99 meal. Staff are great and the food was nice. Desserts is the only thing you could improve on. Ice-cream was way to frozen with frost bite almost. Will definitely return. Great tunes and nice dark cozy environment.

   Hi Tia, Thanks for the great feedback. The dessert is actually not an ice-cream and is a semi-freddo which is a little texturally different to ice-cream. Sem-freddo is not churned and is set in a dish which is cut into slices :-) Glad your meal was great otherwise!
