We ordered a variety and every plate was licked clean! The cornbread pudding was amazing!!
The food and service was good, except for the pear salad my wife had. Just didn’t taste good, almost bitter. Simple, but good menu. Enjoyable eating outside near the pool. Great bar.
This was an amazing experience as far as service and food. The bartender who was also our server was great. Water glasses appeared instantly and were always refilled. Ambiance should have been ideal-except-a woman who seemed to know the staff well was sitting at the bar across from us. She spoke very loudly at length with the bartender, and anyone who would listen, inserting expletives which made it hard to have a quiet conversation. I didn’t want to complain and kept hoping the bartender would ask her to tone it down because he seemed to know her well. Only glitch in what would have been a perfect experience. In spite of this, we will definitely try Norman’s again!
Everything was excellent. The setting and the good were unique and memorable. The service was great
Pre wedding dinner
This restaurant / hotel is amazing. Redone in a retro way. The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is brilliant. Definitely worth checking out! Love it!
An extraordinary experience all around! Vibey, gorgeous, great service, wonderful food.
It was a little overpriced for the food itself and nothing special. My potatoes in my dish were raw in the middle. Service was not the best either
the service is always great here .... very professional and accommodating. the menu is a bit limited, but can always find something that is good.
The evening was perfect. Excellent service, great food, the fish was fantastic.
Norman's wasn't as busy as our last visit and that might have helped with the prompt service and delivery of our courses.
Best dinner I have had in a long time. Everything we out in our mouths was insanely delicious. Ans the service was incredible too along with the view. Will be back
We always love dining at Normans. Food and drinks are always wonderful along with the service.
Best meal ever. Chef creativity and presentation rivaled 5 star restaurant.
Wine and drink menu, extensive and festive.Service friendly and efficient. Great way to celebrate my husband’s birthday
Wonderful experience. Highly recommended the squash and chicken. Everyone very friendly.
Our service was the best part about our time at the Norman. The two servers August 11th dinner time were exceptional.
Chk dry but flavor good. Salad needs more stuff less lettuce. Avo toast cold. Out of a bunch of stuff.
Service was slow at breakfast and there was only one other couple. Seems you are short staffed. Especially by the pool attendance!
Wonderful place to chill and eat great food.
Beautiful view to watch sunset
Our food was delayed, and we received it at 8:30.. The waiter came by at 8:45 pm to announce last call for drinks! Uh? I guess Los Alamos closes early, 9pm, on Tuesdays.
They ran out of filet and tried to offer cod instead!? Presentation of portobello dish was appallingly bad. Saving grace was Mac and cheese!
We were able to get a last minute reservation which was great. We were seated under a tree next to the only other people dining outside. Lunch was good enough but not worth going back for given the uphill walk from the parking lot. I love the concept of mid century retro motels and would love to give this five stars but I just can’t. We had to ask to have our water glasses filled and my Asian tuna salad had a nice flavor but the noodles were either undercooked or wrong for the salad. Still fun to check out.
The menu is small and it doesn’t really matter because we had four of the appetizers and one main and they were all delicious. The service was great abd the views from the restaurant were outstanding. Will go back there when we’re in the area again.
Expansive views from the patio, great food and service.
The food was great, the service was impeccable, only thing was we got our drinks after the appetizer which was a bit inconvenient, also this drunk couple showed up cursing and really brining the mellow down. Other than that, keep it up!!!
Our server Abel was terrific!! Loved him. The supporting staff were very nice as well! Great time. We will return.
Had the chicken: too much sauce and expensive for what you got. Beet salad was small and beet undercooked
We always enjoy going to Norman at Skyview and now that things are getting back to normal it's good to see the restaurant doing well.
Service was a bit off today with longer wait times but some of that can be due to labor shortages.
Food was very good for the most part. Always good apps. The chicken was a bit dry this time and the linguini was ok but not great. There has been several changes in the kitchen, so that may be part of the issue.
Overall, still a good place to visit if you are traveling thru Los Alamos.
Amazing ambience and wine but not stellar food. Worth a trip for the view alone. I think next time I would try their breakfast.
Transported back in time and the food was delicious. Our waitress was so friendly but sadly we do not have her name handy.
Great spot to watch the sunset and relax over appetizers and wine or cocktails. The food and service was great and took great care of us the whole time. It can be a bit breezy outside in the evening but the heaters helped a lot.
My husband and I were on a day drive with our parents and wanted to find a restaurant that would take a reservation so we did not have to stand waiting in line to get a table. Normans happened to have a few seatings left and the menu looked good. Well we were not disappointed! We were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server. Our drink and food orders were taken as soon as we were ready and served to us in a fair amount of time. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch while sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the valley below. We look forward to our next visit to Normans.
Great place, good service and taste food
Super relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food and service were excellent.
There are not enough menu options but what is on the menu is incredible! The atmosphere can’t be beat. I adore this place and highly recommend it!
We had a dinner and a breakfast here. The restaurant sits right next to the pool. We sat inside for dinner and outside for breakfast. Very good service, attentive but not at all annoying.
Dinner was portobello mushrooms and root vegetables with a delicious pesto sauce. The pile of root vegetables would have been more tasty if they had been cooked just a bit more. I’d like to see more vegetarian options for dinner, rather than the old go-to mushroom thing that we vegetarians have to endure. It was one tasty mushroom though!
Breakfast was very good!
If you like to drink, the bar serves very fancy special drinks.
The music was unique and peppy, and they didn’t have it overly loud.
Dessert was delicious!!!!
Filet was delicious, as were the yellowfin crisps and goat cheese crostini. The portobello was ok, but the carrots and beets on the side were not fully cooked and not good. My husband had to order this dinner because he cannot eat dairy or red meat.
Food was great - the yellowfin crisps were our favorite. Carlos made the best cocktails!
Great Birthday Celebration!! Thanks for the great drinks, food and service!!
Relaxing lunch by the pool with great views
Burger was burned and blackened. It was supposed to be medium.
Great find! Very nice staff. Food was fresh and well prepared. Would love a few more menu options.
