Nori Sushi offers both a sushi and an Asian fusion menu. Sit out on the large patio and people watch as you enjoy a plate of chicken lollipops that have been made with three Asian spices or a serving of sweet and chili tofu. Or choose to sit indoors at one of the comfortable tables and enjoy a plate of seafood pancakes or a jumbo lump crab cake. Nori Sushi offers several lunch specials such as the bento box with choices including teriyaki, tempura or galbi. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, sitting at the sushi bar is always an option where you can watch the chefs prepare your order of nigari or sashimi. Rolls and special rolls are also available.
Nori Sushi offers a large drink menu with choices of red and white wines, sake and beer. There are several signature cocktails that can be tailored to your taste.

Sushi is really great!, other food is just average. Service was great!
Let me start by saying this is a super cool place and the food is Devine. the happy hour is probably the best in town. the reason for the 3 stars is because all but the wine happy hour drinks were "out." not sure how you run out of your signature cocktails by 5:30pm on a Thursday, but this is the second time that has happened. secondly, the service from our server was horrible. she whispered and it took her 20 minutes to get each person (at different times) their first drink! the manager tried to make up for the waitresses lack of effort or personality....which is another reason I didn't give it one star. I might give it another try here because the happy hour is so good, but that took a backseat because of all the other issues.
Definitely a nice place and great sushi but best part was the amazing service from all staff. I’ll be a new regular
Awesome place, great staff and nice change of ambiance 😉
Service was lacking to the point the entire restaurant was functioning but not dancing together like a quality restaurant could.
It was a very disappointing experience. We ordered two rolls and my friend asked for soy paper. We were not informed they charge $3.00 a roll for soy paper. When we saw that on our check the server said yes that’s correct so we asked to see the manager. The manager told us “there is nothing I can do about it that is the price”. I wish they would have informed us of that before we ordered it $6.00 for soy paper really.
My wife and I have been Sushi fans for years. Nori Sushi has the best Sushi in Scottsdale. Their fish and Poki is very fresh, Bento Boxes are great for lunch, Nigri Sushi is fantastic and their rolls not only taste fantastic, they are beautifully prepared. Nori is the only place we will go for Sushi.
The food was delicious!! Server wasn’t very attentive but maybe she was just really busy! We will be back for sure!!!
Made a reservation but the restaurant was wide open, that’s okay. We got sat by some table by the kitchen and then asked for a booth and they had to go check if anything was available but the whole place was practically open. We did get seated at a nice booth finally. A Server didn’t come for 5+ minutes and then they were out of the sour beer I wanted to try, the shishito peppers weren’t cooked all the way through and had fish flakes on top that ruined the taste. My roll was fine, the yellowfin was a little fishy and they uncharged me +$3 for soy paper, (usually at places it’s $1). Overall not super satisfied with the experience. Austin our server was very nice and kind though. Nothing bad about him. Nice kid. Won’t be coming back or recommending it.
Delicious food. Server was a little slow but he was new and did a good job. The restaurant was very warm..apparently when we asked said A/C wasn't working well.
Hot temperature made it uncomfortable. The sushi was fair , stringy and thin small portions. It’s a noticeable difference since our last time . One more chance then no more.
Excellent food and service. Will recommend it to friends
short staffed, so service was not great. Our waiter was nice and sushi was great.
Sitting at the bar was a change to our reservation, but it made the night as we got to enjoy one of the amazing monsoon sunsets
What a great restaurant with fantastic food! We can’t wait to go again 🤩
Everything was delicious, from the specialty cocktails to the edamame and nigiri. If you’re looking for good sushi this is the place! Pricy but that’s to be expected and it wasn’t outrageous.
Great place for sushi. Fun and friendly
Clearly one of the best sushi stops in the Phoenix area. We had a number of dishes including maki, sashimi, nigiri and a couple of hot dishes. We started with edamame, pork gyoza and shrimp tempura. Everything we had was well prepared and the sashimi and nigiri was as fresh and tasty as it gets. We'll definitely be back.
Good good, server forgot about us and left us without water/beverages for quite a long time. Wasn’t that busy either so not sure what he was up to.
great food, service, atmosphere...................................................
+ Food is very good.
- Environment is stylish, but rather loud.
- Service is a little inconsistent. But not 'bad'.
+ After a couple visits, I'll be back.
Third time we’ve been service continues to worsen each visit.
Met friends there for drinks and sushi. Both outstanding as we have come o expect
The edamame was delicious! Nori has a good selection of "fun" maki rolls, the portion sizes were generous and the drinks were really good!
I wish they would make the rolls just a more reasonable size some of it is too large to eat with the chopsticks
Excellent fresh fish. The pork belly is amazing. We had 3 diffwnt rolls and they were fabulous too! No more Pure Sushi for ms, Noriis my new favorite Japanese restaurant.
The food is amazing and the service was great too! Best place for Sushi and we will be back for sure!
Nori is fantastic . Fine very fresh food, gracious service, and a wonderful ambiance.
Service is perfect, snd the bartender made me a lichee martini to die for..
Service was not the best. Lots of staff but there flow and speed was not there. We waited over 25 min for our dessert.
Nori Sushi is a trendy restaurant with surprisingly good food!
First time at this location, made a res on Open Table and all good...Extremely over priced with the exception of the $3 lousy house saki! Sushi was fresh, I'll give them that, but here's the kicker why I will NEVER go back.....Asked for a side of ponzu (don't do soy sauce) no problem, they served it in the small soy sauce standard dish that sits on the tables. Sure glad I didn't ask for more since on the bill they charged .50....for ponzu? I was SHOCKED beyond belief, no one and I truly mean not one restaurant I have ever been to has charged for a side of ponzu....guess they have to figure out some way to cover their overhead charge of the new restaurant. Really? So many other top sushi restaurants around the city that don't charge for ponzu.....
Did not like the rolls. Sake was good. Desert was ordinary. Service was excellent.
Great night with friends and sushi. Good rolls at a reasonable price. Will definitely go again.
The food quality was food. Service was fair, lots of staff (bartenders) in the corner talking. Don’t understand how they have been open a month and no happy hour menu.
Alice was our server and she was great. Food was awesome. it was really warm in there, but otherwise amazing!!
Food was amazing. Great service from our serve, Jake. He was really personable. We enjoyed him and will ask for him next time we go. Loved it all.
Excellent meal and experiece. Highly recommend the black cod and tempura roll!
Really bad experience.
fabulous food. outstanding service.
Highly recommend giving them a try.
Horrible service, very slow and not attentive
