Nordstrom Grill – Nordstrom Park Meadows Ratings and Reviews
Horrible, horrible, horrible. We frequent this restaurant often and couldn't believe how absolutely bad it was. First, we sat down and wanted an appetizer along with a caesar salad. After we ordered that, the wait person said "if you want to order your entree now I'll hold it up until you've finished with the appetizers...so we did. I ordered the special Salmon dish ($22.00) and my Husband ordered the french dip sandwich (which he always orders because it's usually so rare and very good). Well you can guess what happened, we received our appetizer and started eating and out comes the entrees. Clearly I looked shocked and said, "I though you were going to hold up the entrees". He said well I can take them back until you finish, very sorry about that. We said just leave it....we'll deal with it. OK the Salmon was actually burnt and extremely well done NOT EATABLE, my Husbands Roast beef was also very well done and nothing but grizzle and fat. He came back to ask how everything was and we let him know our food was overdone and how disappointed we were, he took our plates to show the chef ( and I use that word lightly) and to talk with his manager. They took my husband's sandwich off the bill and brought us a free desert, which was on the bill!!! We were so disgusted by then we just paid and left, never to set foot there again!!!
My French Dip sandwich was absolutely terrible. The bread was burned and dry, the meat was cold, and the french fries were also cold. The Cesar Salad to start was smoked with dressing and the Romaine was warm. The server was very unpleasant, which is why I did not send my meal back, as I was pretty sure she would have been even more disrespectful to my family. Overall a terrible experience.
I have been here many times to meet girlfriends Love the hostess and the staff, food is terrific.
The only time I have been disappointed is when there are urchins screaming. That is a buzzkill.
Fortunately those times are not often,
I am gluten free and low carb and wish there were a few more dishes for me. Like perhaps a bone broth offering.
Love it and I’m there twice a month at a minimum.
My daughter says this is her favorite restaurant in the world! They have a great kids menu and kind servers that welcome kids. Plus, they have the most delicious grilled vegetable salad. It's the perfect spot to eat when you are in the midst of a long day of shopping.
Nice atmosphere, classy, clean and great food presented well. This restaurant is very convenient for lunch and dinner, or just gathering for a coffee or drink. Wait staff is very helpful and chipper. It is our favorite "go-to" restaurant for a regular meal or meeting up with friends for lunch or dinner. Restaurant can be very noisy; however, many times it is quiet or moderate and you can hear the nice background music and relax.
Nordstrom lunches have been a cherished traditions for years, but the level of service, quality and value have really taken a downturn the past year or so.
It has never been as obvious as it was this last Saturday. We drove our usual two hours into Denver as my girls were taking part in the annual Trend Show.
Afterwards, we met for lunch at the Grill. On numerous occasions I observed three different servers coming out of the kitchen with mouths full of food. Once, a server even wiped the corners of her mouth with her fingers and proceeded to fill a drink order.
That would never happen at any fine restaurant, much less at an establishment that prides itself on image and decorum as Nordstrom always has.
For the food, my daughter's usual chicken fingers came out and it literally was as small as three nuggets. Same for my wife's salad, as the 'Full' came out as a 'Half' portion and the greens were poor quality. Any chef worth their salt would not send that out for consumption or presentation.
As always, they stopped carrying a favorite item, this time being the Spicy Ketchup. It is so frustrating to see good menu items or condiments get taken off, especially when they are so good!
Our server was average at best. She was very disengaged and every time she filled a drink or checked on us, I would say thank you, as always, and she never once could muster enough courtesy to respond with a 'you're welcome'.
Overall, it ended what was a special day, on a very sour note and was a waste of my hard-earned money.
I hope things turn around soon, as I will not continue to be a patron under experiences like this was.
The table I had requested with OpenTable (preference was to be by the windows ) was not available when we arrived. However, Marilyn made our visit more than worthwhile and made up for the change. She was kind enough to take pictures of my friend and me, as this was a special occasion. She was also quite attentive and respectful. I am pleased that Nordstrom's takes the time and consideration to hire individuals such as Marilyn to be of good service to their customers!
I made this reservation for me and my mom to celebrate my mom's birthday. The beautiful, gray-haired woman who greeted us was wonderful. She wished my mom a very happy birthday and gave my mom a sweet birthday hug after our meal. This made up for our server not offering my mom anything special for her day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
I ordered a salad and asked to make sure there was a lot of lettuce because I've had it several times with different amounts. I made sure she knew I really wanted one with a lot of lettuce. I got maybe 1/2 cup filled which for what they charge is definitely not enough. Definitely disappointed
We met at Nordstrom's Grill to celebrate a friends birthday. She picked the spot because of a great salad you serve. We all ended up having the same salad and we enjoyed it throughly. We bought some of the salad dressing and ended the time we had together with nothing but good feelings about every experience—food was great, service was great and all of our needs were met. Thank you.
We went for Mother's Day and the food was really good, everyone was impressed. The atmosphere could use a bit of updating, it kinda has a feel of a cafeteria, and the upscale food and prices don't really match. Definitely will be back for the food, but might try an off time so it isn't so crowded and loud as the sound carries due to the cafeteria style seating. :(
