Service was very nice. Food was alright and dessert was the best.
Great place for lunch while out at City Creek. Nice view, food was excellent, and service was great.
Food used to be wonderful. Not so much anymore.
My husband ordered a French Dip Sandwich and when he got it the bread was almost burnt and the beef was cold.
Wonderful service and wonderful food. I look forward to my next visit.
Nordstrom Grill is one of my favorite go to places for a nice quiet dinner with my husband.
My waiter was very pleasant. He knew the menu and answered all of my questions. The fresh squeezed lemonade was exceptional. High quality food well prepared. Nice dessert selection. Quiet cozy dining area.
We eat here frequently. Food and service are always great. I do wish they would change the music but not a game changer at all for us. Last meals - warm chicken Asian salad - so yummy! And my husband had the fried chicken sandwich with fries - also very good!
The food is very good, especially the choice of salads. It tends to be a bit on the pricey side for a regular place to get lunch but worth it when you are meeting up with a friend.
Great place with delicious food.
Our service was very attentive. The french dip sandwich with fries is a favorite.
really good - serving only until 6 pm, but stay til 7:00+
Excellent service, excellent food. A bit pricey, but acceptable.
I always love my visits to Nordstrom grill. It was simply lovely and the best shopping is right outside the entry.
Our waiter was so nice and attentive!!!
We love this restaurant for the food, experience, and proximity to the Eccles theater. Our food was delicious, but our server was polite but admitted to being very busy. We had to ask for appetizer plates and wait for drink refills. We asked three people three different times before a side of ketchup arrived. The meal came with fries, so it wasn’t an outlandish request. We will certainly be back, and we tipped 25%, but the service could have been better. I’ve seen the restaurant much busier, so I don’t think there was an unanticipated rush.
The three of us come to SLC to ski each year and often attend a concert while we're here. We have enjoyed eating at Nordstom Grill City Creek prior to attending the symphony, which is just across the street.
We were surprised to see that the restaurant no longer has real glasses for beverages, but rather serves in plastic. That was the least of it. The menu had changed, so the dishes we loved were no longer available. Two of us ordered the crab spaghetti after asking the waitress if she would recommend it--she did. The third person order the gnocchi with chicken meatballs. The sauce on each dish was the same despite different descriptions on the menu and was fiery hot Neither our server nor the menu mentioned that the sauce was VERY spicy. And, we were offered fresh pepper!!!! So hot, in fact, that it was the only taste. I asked for another plate while the others suffered through their meals. I ended up with an okay salad, having already had a small salad, with salmon. The fish was cooked as I requested but had little flavor. They were also out of two of the five desserts on the menu. We'll be looking for another spot in the future.
I should mention that I have eaten in many Nordstrom restaurants and always found them to be a good value with better than average food--what one would expect from Nordstroms.
Great food. Great service
We always like to eat here before events downtown. Good friendly service from Rebecca.
Everything was delicious. Server was awesome. Thank you. Love Mimi ❤️
Although I had made the reservation a few days to a week in advance, I was asked through the app and text message if I intended to keep my reservation, several times. Fine it was Valentine’s Day and it can get busy, I guess, however it wasn’t busy at our 6:30 arrival and the special’s menu was already sold out. I only mention this because it’s weird for Nordstrom cafe to not be on top of their game and it didn’t seem busy. Otherwise, the cafe delivered on exactly what my date had requested; “good food without a Prix fixe menu and a 200 dollar price tag”
Everything was great. We were so happy they brought back the chicken pot pie soup. It was delicious. We had the halibut fish and chips and it was really great too. The only thing that was really really bad was the crème brûlée. Honestly, it was the worst crème brûlée I’ve ever had in my life and I have had lots of it. They really need to revamp that recipe. Or maybe it was just a bad batch. Anyway, overall it was really good
I miss the original tomato basil soup with crostini...please bring it back!
Food was good, vanity wall for the chef was a little odd.
Always unique and good food and a pleasant place to eat.
Dinner before an event.
We are vegetarians and found a good mark!
Good food. Good location. Loved that the restaurant is so close to everything.
Thoroughly enjoyed lunch with my daughter at Nordstrom Grille . We felt they had a great menu variety, good service and our crab bisque and Asian salads were yummy !
Great food and service. Convenient downtown location. Menu offers interesting twists on traditional dishes. Classy place!
Food and location were great. We were in SLC to go to the Utah Symphony and this restaurant is right across the street. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive, but she was friendly and got our orders right.
We were a few minutes late for our reservation but were seated right away. The food and service were great as usual. Never disappointed with Nordstrom’s Grill.
Delicious Crab Bisque!
Great food, albeit a bit pricey for what is offered.
Everything was fine except it appears that the website is inaccurate as they do not serve any alcoholic beverages.
Upscale looking restaurant with reasonable lunch prices.
Turkey bacon with avocado sandwich was excellent as was the Asian mixed greens salad. Crab bisque was a little off and average at best. Everything else was great, including the service.
We haven't dined at the Grill in a couple of years. It was good , as always. the French onion soup was divine!
We miss the yam/sweet potato fries! Put them on the menu, they will be the "signature" dish for appetizers or side dishes--a real mistake to take them off your menu!
