About this restaurant

Quince is a modern bistro featuring innovative Mediterranean cuisine. All our food is made in house and sourced locally whenever possible.
Recently renovated by Commute Home casual chic look is designed in a palette of natural finishes and warm tones.

We offer seating for 80 people, an informal bar with eating counter and private dining for up to 40. A mid town favorite for over 7 years, and voted one of "Toronto's Best New Restaurants 2007" by Toronto Life Magazine.

PLEASE NOTE: that we only accept on line reservations up to 6 people, if you would like to reserve for a larger group please call the restaurant directly to accommodate your request. We can sit parties to a maximum of 12 people.

Great experience, but the food was somewhat hard to come by. The rotating grill was a little bit hard to get used to. I was hungry when my partner and I got there and they were a little slow in rotation. Most of the items, I wasn't able to try.

What a lovely evening! My husband and I met some friends for dinner at Quince Bistro on Friday evening. The menu is small. We ordered a variety of different dishes among the four of us. Everything from salad to seafood, from salmon to pork beautifully prepared. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we entered. Our waiter, Michael, was most attentive and responsive to our requests. We plan to visit Quince Bistro again.

Thursday night before a holiday weekend was surprisingly busy here. Not quite enough wait people, but they were very polite and tried hard to be on top of things. Food as always was good, plentiful and creative. However the big hunk of brisket was hard to cut into bite-sized pieces; maybe should be cut in half in kitchen?

We've been to Quince several times and enjoyed every time. This last visit was very busy with Summerlicious but the service and food were still excellent. Good choices on the menu. Although packed, we could still hear each other's conversation without overhearing our neighbouring table. Love this place!!

The food was great, perfectly cooked. The servers brought the food out on time, not rushed or late. Summerlicious here, is a great deal if you get the opportunity definitely try the lamb and the octopus. The only issue is the busy street it's on can be a little loud, with police sirens going off every so often. Great restaurant!

summerlicious here was great! the poutine was delicious, and the lamb melted in my mouth. would go back but maybe only during summerlicious because it's pricy.

The ambiance and location of Quince's is quite nice and it looks very welcoming. The food is another issue. I had difficulty finding something good and it was only through process of elimination that I found something. This included the waiter telling me that some of the menu items may not be up to what I would expect. There was much too much grain included with everything. If there were birds around, I would be able to feed them all night.

Summerlicious menu is OUTSTANDING! Took friends there and they LOVED it and remarked how happy they were that we went. Michael (wait staff) is their ambassador of good spirits and great recommendations always. Jennifer (co-owner) is always lovely and gracious. Would go every weekend if I could! :)

Great food selection for summerlicious. Service is great. Portion is very generous which is very good as some summerlicious offers very small portion.
