We were looking for a place to eat in Belfast on Christmas Eve that would be good and also meet the needs of one vegan in our party and one (by medical need) gluten-free person in our party. Nora's Palace was great. The service was attentive and helpful. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share and then had three mains. It was a lot of food and all delicious. If you are in Belfast and want some great food and excellent hospitality, Nora's Palace fits the bill.
Excellent Christmas menu!! Starters of halloumi, best squid ever and Lebanese spicy sausage. Mains of chicken shawarma, chicken tagine and lamb shawarma and flat breads. Fantastic flavours and great friendly service. Happy Christmas to Nora and the guys!!
Nora went out of her way to ensure we all enjoyed an exceptional meal. She put together a vegan platter not on the menu that was excellent!
Great atmosphere, perfect find! We will be back!
Wonderful meal. Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
Booked through OpenTable but the restaurant weren't aware when I turned up. Good food, something different and interesting. But it was too cold and loud for me.
I loved this place when was Byblos. While we were delighted to see it so busy Sat night we made a booking and not even an hour in told that we needed to finish up soon. We booked online unlike others so shocked by this. We also asked for water start or meal and throughout and didn't get twice. Food was lovely except the hummus starter seems to be tiny portion compared to when we have visited Noras before. However the service did annoy us on Sat as we rarely get to be in Belfast now and to be rushed away from table and ignored when asking for water just disheartened us. I get they were busy but there were other seats and we only been there 45 mins. We planned to order more but didn't have chance. Once we told to go why should we stay?
Fab place and fab food! Can’t wait to go back. The fish tagine and the baba ganoush was the best I’ve had
Good starters and mains. Baklava had good flavours but was a bit dry
Booked Nora’s place through this online booking site and received conformation of booking and paid for a taxi into town to find the restaurant closed. Really not happy
We were over visiting Belfast over New Years and decided to book Nora’s Palace for lunch on New Year’s Day before we left for the airport. When we arrived for our booking we found that the restaurant was closed. This was very disappointing as we were thoroughly looking forward to the food. We also struggled to find an alternative for lunch as everywhere was now fully booked.
