You know we love a little indulgence, and this season’s Afternoon Tea offers just that. Settle in at Nor’ Loft—your familiar hideaway above the city—and let us treat you to something special. We’ve layered summer flavours into every bite: a light and tangy raspberry & coconut sponge with lime buttercream, tropical mango & yuzu ice cream lollipops (yes, they’re as refreshing as they sound), and coffee, passionfruit & pistachio macaron. All served alongside a handpicked selection of our traditional Nor' Loft style bites from goat’s cheese panna cotta with port jelly to a harissa lamb sausage roll. It's not afternoon tea without scones. One sweet with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam, one savoury with a little kick of 'nduja and parmesan—because we don’t believe in choosing between sweet or savoury. All served with barista-style Gordon Street Coffee. roasted on the ground floor of Market Street hotel, or Canton loose leaf teas, and, if the mood takes you, a chilled glass of Champagne never goes amiss. We’ll have your table ready.

Whilst the location, atmosphere and service were all outstanding the Afternoon Tea was a little disappointing. No glass of fizz or cold refreshment included like other venues in the city and also had to pay for coffee to accompany my food as I don’t like tea.

We didn’t eat. We had a bottle of champagne. It was a special birthday which I’d advised when booking and the birthday girl got a lovely hand written card and a plate with a chocolate for each of us. A great celebration helped by the attentiveness of the staff! Highly recommended. Also to book in advance.

Fabulous experience but slightly marred by one of our plates being served on rock hard bread that was totally inedible and potentially could have broken a tooth. When we told waiting staff they simply said "I will tell the chef) Rather poor customer service

Great service and staff, especially the gentleman from Moldova (sorry can’t remember your name, effect of the hauf’n’hauf’s) knew all about champagne’s available. Great food too. Well worth a visit.

We only had drinks, a very nice bottle of Tattinger. Got lovely chocolates and card for my friends birthday which was a lovely touch. Can’t comment on the food.

Surprised my daughter with a first-time visit to Nor' Loft on a Sat as a treat for her 50th birthday. Very last minute booking so was delighted to get a table, not right at a window but near enough to take in the views of Edinburgh. Super happy, chatty atmosphere with, thankfully, no loud music and despite being extremely busy and buzzy the staff were absolutely lovely and attentive. Tasteful, modern but comfortable decor and furnishings and delicious sharing platters and cocktails. My daughter and myself were delighted with our experience at Nor'Loft and would highly recommend it
