NoPo — an acronym for North Post Oak, which is designed to describe the emerging neighborhood that sits east of Spring Branch, north of the Galleria and west of Timbergrove — was termed by Berg Hospitality Group owner and founder, Benjamin Berg. Super cute spot for a quiet meal with lots of dining options. There is a petite patio, a quaint dining room, with a cute little bakery section in the front, so it is a perfect spot for any meal of the day. The staff was super friendly and attentive; both the cocktails and the food were very good. We liked it so much we went twice in one day. Enjoyed Sunday brunch with cocktails. The chicken salad sandwich is excellent, and the Gin Punch was the perfect refreshing cocktail for a sunny day on the patio. We came back several hours later for a snack. We tried the freshly made guacamole. It's some of the best in town.... surpassing many Mexican restaurant versions. This will definitely be a new "go-to" spot. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the dinner entrees.

This was not my 1st visit and enjoyed my previous visits. This time made me wonder if I would return. Do NOT get the French dip! The meat seemed as if it had been sitting all day and then microwaved to serve. It was dry and crispy on the edges. The bread was not warm and hard as a rock. Very disappointed.

I always enjoy lunch at NOPO. The BLT is amazing with it's combination of thick and thin cut bacons but should only be consumed infrequently unless you're looking for a cardiac event. If you love bacon you have to try it.

Went for the tasting menu, arrived for happy hour. Bonus! Great drinks, amazing service…Amen was phenomenally attentive, but not obtrusive. The food was spot on, burrata, short ribs, and bread pudding. Zero complaints!!

The food was great. The hostess was rude though. The dining room was too small for that number of tables. We were practically in the laps of the table next to us. The man who I assumed was the manger was very nice and helpful.

Hidden Gem! This is our second visit to NoPo and both times have been outstanding. This was for 10 am brunch. Everything was well prepared and served very quickly. Waitress was very attentive without intruding on conversations. And the extra stop at the bakery inside let me leave with the most delicious croissants!!

Met up with some friends for HRW and it was amazing. Everyone’s food was delicious, I had the French dip for the entrée portion and that’s probably one of the best I have had in a very long time. Others had the beet salad, salmon, and the burger. Did not disappoint whatsoever on any dish. We sat in the front and everyone was so nice and attentive as there were 5 of us. Will definitely be back and not just for HRW.

NoPo never disappoints. Today we took advantage of the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu and had three great courses for a great cause. Berg Hospitality is a blessing to Houston and NoPo is a gem to the area!

Totally changed the menu and not Italian based at all anymore. Food was bland and overpriced. They charged a 3.5% non-cash surcharge that we only found out about when the bill came

Great food and service! Love the ambiance and location. So glad to have a good restaurant so close to home and not have to venture into the “hip”, busy, congested parts of town which are completely overrated. Thank you NoPo for a lovely afternoon with a friend!

I’ve been here several times now and enjoy the atmosphere, the food and beverages, but there is ample room for improvement. They need to train their servers. Ours tried to get us to hang onto our forks for the next course. Just no. A different server did the same to the people at the adjacent table. They were similarly unimpressed. As for the food, the Caesar salad and desserts — bread pudding and cheesecake were perfection. My beef short rib was nicely cooked and presented and would have been delicious had It not been WAY oversalted. I’ll go back, but next time I might make more noise.

The ambience was good. But the Ac was just too cold. Need to tone that down a bit or provide blankets. 😂 The food that we chose this time was not as great. The chicken sandwich was just meh. Not dry but nothing to write home about. More fries than chicken sandwich The beet salad was much better The almond croissant was tiny. And didn’t. Look anything like a croissant Overall was an okay experience

It was my first time to come to NoPo for dinner. Lunch was always great. However our salad and 3 entrees came at the same time and the fourth entree 10 minutes later. I think the kitchen needs to work on timing.

We love NoPo. The food in the cafe and bakery is just as great as the dining side. Service and employees are amazing, they remember our names, drinks, etc… we eat here weekly and just love everything about it! Best Cobb salad and almond croissants in town!

My husband and I treated our 23 year old granddaughter to her birthday dinner at NoPo last night. We were so pleasantly delighted by the welcome we received at the front and back doors, the excellent table reserved for us, the wonderful summer seasonal menu which we chose our delicious meals from (the food was served very hot and had generous portions), the very attentive waitress that took excellent care of us, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant. I would highly recommend NoPo to everyone!

I like this place a lot. The food was good, although I was dining with a vegetarian friend and the menu is devoid of vegetarian options other than salads. The salmon was nice, and the carrot cake was delicious. Love the cocktail selections and wine. The waiter was new and clearly inexperienced and not particularly attentive but very sweet. Maybe some training would be a good idea before putting a new hire on the floor.

Good location, bakery in the front with a restaurant in the back. I paid $21 for a Ruben sandwich with chips. It was so messy I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The meat was tough too. So a sandwich (not even a pickle served with it) with chips and nothing to drink plus tax, surcharge for using my CC and tip my bill was $26.35. A lot for a not very good sandwich.

We needed a light meal before heading to a play at Theater Suberbia and selected NoPo for location.. the food was very good and prices a little higher than most. The service was good, but had to ask for water refills (pet peeve of mine). The two things I found irritating was the auto tip offering started at 20% and up and the credit card fees being an add on . It is stated on the menu, but still off putting. The "non cash surcharge looks to be included in the auto tip amount.

Love all the new menu options. The menu update was much needed. The portion size was enormous. I was not able to finish my entree. Easily enough to split between two (2) people. Service was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is country french chic with clean and crisp decor.

The restaurant is quaint but has a nice-sized bar. We ordered the chicken sandwich (good) and the reuben (average) and the spinach dip which was lackluster. The service was very good and attentive (but there were not many diners the night we went).
