We've been coming here for more than ten years and it never disappoints. Still one of the best places in SF. An institution.

I took my boyfriend to Nopa for his birthday. We had a great time. He is a chef, and he loves watching how the kitchen is working. The food was very good, waited a little bit longer for it, but the server let us know and we didn't really mind the wait. I like the bar area and the modern decor.

Loved it. Only down side is hard to park. Street parking only which on a Sunday night was rather difficult to find.

The brussel sprouts were out of this world, pappardelle was exceptional and the roasted chicken quite flavorful. Overall, extremely happy we made this reservation on our trip out to San Francisco!

Enjoyed every item that we chose. More so for the flat bread. Should have placed two orders. The chicken and beef steak were also great choices.

A bit disappointed that their famous pork chops are not available all the time. They now serve that only on every other week and the day we were there was not the right week.

Nopa never disappoints. Food is exceptional. The seasonal small plate with butternut squash ricotta on toast with sauteed mushrooms and a chili oil was outstanding

Great food as usual but the brunch service was very rushed. Seemed like they wanted us out of there in under an hour.

Thought it was great but not sure why it’s such a hyped up brunch place. Pretty standard. Great bloody mary!

We went to Nopa for my son's family birthday. We heard the burgers were great we we live near Nopalito and have liked it... We waited for OVER 30 minutes for our burgers and mine had to be sent back because it was rare when I ordered medium.. the food server apologized but we felt underwhelmed by the entire experience and 4 burgers and a salad were over $100... will not be going back...

Just okay! We waited a long time for our entrees, which our server warned us about. However, once they arrived my fiances burger was way undercooked and my pasta just wasnt that special. If it had come out quicker I might feel differently, less anticipation. If its going to take close to an hour (from when we received our apps) I expect a whole lot more! Restaurant had a nice ambiance, and our server was great.

Pork chop was outstanding. Wine list could be a little punchier. Herbed chicken wasn’t bad but didn’t have enough flavor to fit expectations at NOPA.

Sunday brunch. Great meal. Had a burger and the pork shoulder. Both were excellent. Started off with a pumpkin cinnamon roll. Not disgustingly sweet. Interesting bar menu.

Never disappoints. Great service. Had avocado toast, pork chop, steak special. All spot on and amazing. Drinks were inventive and tasty.

We sat upstairs which was a bit too warm for my liking but overall great experience. Well worth $$

Amazing food, and lots of it. Excellent wine with knowledgeable staff. We were sitting on the first floor which was perfect for seeing the whole restaurant and soaking up the atmosphere.

The most comfortable, laid back, casual 5 Star dining experience in the Bay Area culinary landscape. Excellent service, food and ambience. Unless you prefer it ‘noisy’ upstairs seating is recommended.

We went for brunch and it was wonderful! The quiche was perfection;silky custard with a beautifully flaky crust. The giant French toast was amazing, and the burgers were great. I asked for my burger rare and it was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. We look forward to going back!

Nopa was mediocre. The food - dishes recommended by the waitress as their best - was over-salted. Tomato salad should not need that much salt and the brisket was almost inedible. The waitress was friendly and knew her food, but the manager was dismal. The hostess offered us two seats at the chef table and he quickly sat his friends there instead and without a thought sent us to a table upstairs. He was arrogant beyond measure and as it turns out, for no reason. The place is obviously a popular hangout for the neighborhood but I think it’s the bartenders credit. Too bad Nopa, there’s much better places to spend your Saturday night in SF.

I've been wanting to go to Nopa for years now but could never get in. I'm so happy we were finally able to dine here. The service was amazing, Brian knew exactly when to come to us and when to let us enjoy our food. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite. We unfortunately didn't leave room for desert but the choices were unique.

As always, exceptional service and delicious food. As a couple who works in the service industry, it's so nice to come to Nopa and receive reliably above-average service. Thanks for a wonderful birthday dinner!

An altogether poetic dining experience - really, the food was that accomplished and unfussy, though the Open Table interface with this marvelous restaurant was problematic. As we were dining I was notified I was a "No Show."

Two people for brunch. Ordered French Toast, side of Bacon, the pork dish and the egg and biscuit dish, bloody Mary's and cava.

The food itself was good however, overpriced for what you get. We sat upstairs towards the kitchen (or some sort of staff area) so the ambiance, which is a major draw to this restaurant, is only receiving 2 stars. Staff was friendly but it took a while to get our meal. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant because the price is too high for what you're getting (for brunch).

The food was good - although not "food temple" good. Service was excellent, wine selection was great, and it was very noisy. All in all, due to the price and noise and in spite of the hype, we would not repeat.
