Met a friend at Nopa before the Caps game. Everyone enjoyed there entrees. The portions were generous. I had the Cod, it was cooked perfectly. There is a nice sized wine list and craft cocktails. Also the "rolls" melt in your mouth. We did not have appetizers or desert. will go again

I rated the food less than I usually do, but because the salad I ordered was not as good as virtually everything I've ever eaten there. Just didn't find it to be tasty. BUT always love NoPa, just won't order that salad again (shrimp......)

3rd time there. Convenient to concert and games at the CapOne Center. Food is excellent and pricey. Not a quick bite venue. Service was very good, server attentive and kind. Highly recommend for special occasions.

We picked NoPa because it was next door to our hotel and reservations were available. We ended up with a very nice window table and our waiter was highly personable, funny, and unpretentious. We had a really fine meal and got good recommendations on wine. The service was pretty quick. The dining rooms are small, which helps keep the noise down, and even though we heard every word said at the table next to us, it was not annoying.

This was my second time vising NoPa and it lived up to my first experience. The hostess and waiter were very professional and charming. The food came out quickly and never had to wait too long for anything. The food was cooked perfectly and the restaurants atmosphere gave off a very cozy yet sleek feel. Would recommend going for a date night or special event as you get a great value for your money. Also the size of the portions are very filling compared to other restaurants.

NoPa was fabulous for brunch! The Carolina Rice Bowl, Chicken Salad Tartine, and Squash and Pear soup were huge hits! And the mimosas were delicious. Loads of gluten free options! No problems either. Will definitely return!

We enjoyed the fixed price Thanksgiving 3-course meal that was a lot of tasty fun. Recommendations from our waiter were spot on. The farm-to-table desserts were phenomenal, bread pudding with herbs de Provence and butternut squash, yes for dessert! We had a great seat overlooking the Portrait Gallery. Will come again!

Consistently good dining choice near the Capital One Center. Service is friendly and efficient. I always start with the deviled eggs, which are straight up delicious without the need for any weird ingredients. There is a good selection of Entrees that similarly seem to strive to be solid, well prepared and presented dishes. We’ve tried meat, seafood and vegetarian (a risotto), and all have hit the mark.

We came to Nopa for the prefix theater dinner menu. And just like every other time we’ve been to know but this did not disappoint! Three courses for $35 was wonderful deal and everything we ordered was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

The Chilean sea bass and the squash and pear soup were both outstanding. The Brussels sprouts and the poached pear dessert were both pretty good, too. The vegetarian risotto was just ok.
The ambiance, service, and location are all top notch.

The food was nicely crafted and original-you can tell there’s an awesome chef! The presentation of the food was really lovely! However it was a little bland and lacking in flavor. I would recommend a little sriaracha on the tables for convenience.

We did the theatre tasting menu. Everything was impeccable. The squash and pear soup added to its other ingredients at the table. It was suprising, but well done. We had Chardonnay and Pinot Noir respectively paired with our meals. Our server was perfectly attentive. (11/15/17)

We had visited NoPa 3 years ago and it was very good, but on arriving for Sunday lunch this year and sitting down it was clear it was a totally different restaurant and the menu and ambience not at all to our liking, so we gave our apologies and left. Think its important to indicate that a restaurant has changed style and level.
We tried to book a table with Fig and Olive through you but the application wouldn't let us, so we just walked up and were pleased to get a table. That was very good and to our liking.

Went with my teenaged niece for dinner before a concert. We both found items we liked on the menu and were very happy with the curry chicken meatballs, burger and short ribs. The service was terrific as we had little time to spare. My cocktail was just okay, not exactly what I expected by that was my fault. I thought it a little too strong and not as cold as I'd like. We loved the cozy, rustic, dining atmosphere and the bar area looked like fun. I would definitely go back! It's so convenient to Capital One Arena.

I have always enjoyed my meals at Nopa so I brought a couple of our friends this time and the Steak and Fritz was a disaster my husband was so disappointed of this dish mostly of the fries! Please try to add healthy fries to this dish rather than the potatoes that were there. I had the cod and was great as always!!

Rainy day escape with family to see some museum fare and looking for a well reviewed brunch place. We were very pleasantly surprised to get a reservation at NoPa Kitchen and Bar and even more delighted by the very pleasant meal we enjoyed. The menu options weren't more than one page - and that's a good thing. The portions were just the right size and everyone enjoyed their choices. The meal was highlighted by our pleasant server, Coletta. We ate a late brunch, but were surprised how the place was not full. It deserves more attention.

Very nice atmosphere with good service. Brunch had a small menu but enough to satisfy varied tastes. Eggs benedict was excellent and Scottish eggs good as well. Our waitress was very helpful. We enjoyed the fact that the 4 of us could talk and visit in a relatively quiet atmosphere. We had reservations but didn't really need them for Sunday brunch.

I'm really surprised this place is never really busy when I get there -- but the brunch is great. They are on top of their mimosa refills, the food is fantastic (they have a carolina rice bowl that is delicious and not too much food + some of the best brussel sprouts I've had), and the atmosphere is not too quiet and not too loud. Plus, you're right in the middle of Chinatown. I took my parents here with my girlfriend and they loved it, would do it again.

We've had dinner at Nopa a half dozen times. We always enjoy our meal -- ambience, service, food -- but our most recent visit was a cut above. Right at the outset, the service was terrific. As we were being seated, a very large party was being seated next to us. Because large parties are often loud, we asked to be moved. The host did so promptly, with no questions asked, and was attentive to us all evening. Our new table, a banquette, provided just the ambience we wanted for a conversation among the five of us -- a quiet nook with few close neighbors. And our meal was superb, particularly inventive, and lovely on the plate. We'll certainly be back.

We dined here prior to attending an event In the area. The service was attentive and fast, while still being extremely friendly. The food was incredible, with lots of gluten free options. The only comment was that later in our meal a large, loud group came in which made it more difficult to talk comfortabley, but that did not have a major impact on the experience. Will definitely dine here again.

We took advantage of the pre-theater menu. Almost everything was delicious except for the steak, which was flavorless and somewhat tough. My friend had the ancient grains risotto and it was delicious. Service was perfect.

Seated promptly w/a reservation, however, even though the dining room had only a handful of tables w/patrons on our arrival and was less than 1/2 full upon leaving, we were seated in the very back of the restaurant next to a very busy pathway to a separate room for a private party. Waitress was lovely older lady who gave us excellent recommendations and wonderful attentive service. Spiced squash and pear soup (as recommended) was delicious. Duck liver mousse had too thick a breading for the thin layer of mousse -- much too heavy for an appetizer for 1. Chilean seabass congee was overall good -- fish was cooked to perfection, however congee pairing was too strange but edible. Crispy chicken roulade just didn't work at all. Red velvet cake for dessert was good.

Very innovative cuisine like venison carpaccio. Popovers for bread, yum. My short ribs were tender and most flavorful, and the mustard like sauce was excellent. My husband's chicken wrapped in its own skin with vegs was also outstanding. Conveniently located to metro, near spy museum and across the street from the National Portrait gallery. Huge windows give onto quiet street at night.
Altogether a fine dining experience.

Absolutely delicious. Great view, service, and ambience. Very french bistro, so good for business or personal. Seasonal, fresh menu with something for a everyone. Loved this so much for lunch that I went back for dinner. Will be visiting again, as I cannot wait to see how the menu changes with the seasons. Was shocked that this place was not absolutely packed, but make a reservation just in case.

It was good, not great. Waitress spilled a drink on my date's purse and didn't bring anything to clean up for about 10 minutes which is unacceptable in my opinion. It was an accident but little was done to fix the situation. After that, she was hard to find to get any additional food or drinks so we just found someone to close us out and left. Other than the drink spill issue, the food was OK and the drinks were OK. Nothing to write home about, honestly. Given the number of other great local places, I probably won't see any reason to return.
