By far our favorite brunch spot. You can’t get a bad meal. Usually it just turns into everyone ordering something different and a sharing of all plates. Great service as well!

Very attentive wait staff. Interesting selection of food & deliciously prepared. Had the grilled gravlax (wonderful) & the braised pork with brown beans which was excellent. Had the almond cake with brandy cream for dessert & it was probably the best dessert I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

If you've never had dutch cuisine, guess what? It's delicious. Be sure to try the mussels, seafood stew and buttercake with custard for dessert.

Our dinner at Noord far exceeded my expectations. Every single dish we had was phenomenal. On a menu with mostly fish and meat, it's possible to assume that the vegetarian dishes don't get as much effort put into them; I was so wrong about that. The bread is outstanding. The salad was perfectly flavored and balanced. The cauliflower side was so good we had two orders. And the lavender mushrooms and rice were out of this world. Not to mention the desserts. Service was great too, and BYOB is a wonderful add-on. I would highly recommend--we had a thoroughly delicious evening.

My first experience here was for dinner and we ordered off of the special menu and we were certainly not disappointed. We decided to return for their high acclaimed brunch since we love the peace of mind of a guaranteed reservation slot instead of leaving our name with the host upon arrival (most popular brunch places operate this way). I'm happy to say the brunch was phenomenal as well. The bread is to die for. I have to stop myself! With the incredible service, ambiance, and value to add to our experience, we will definitely return -- next time with our favorite people!

we are always up for trying different types of cuisine. Noord did not disappoint. The food was delicious. Our server Louis was outstanding. His recommendations were spot on and he really took an interest in making sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend Noord to friends, and will return in the future.

Always a great experience and never disappointed. My Dutch husband is always happy to enjoy the Dutch inspired menu here and for this birthday dinner he was not let down. First of all the homemade grilled bread with the side of baked garlic cloves was phenomenal. My bitterballen were a delicious gourmet version of this Dutch bar food staple. The turnip soup, salmon and lekker bekjes were also excellent. You just can't go wrong at Noord!

Noord has become our special place when we want a date night or if friends come to town. It is consistently great and we have never been disappointed. Their grilled bread is truly delicious and everything, from the regular menu items to their specials is always cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Always always great service.

Wow! What great, inventive, absolutely delicious food perfectly matched with great service. The bread is heaven, appetizers varied and creative and all four at our table raved about their entrees. And dessert - don't miss it. It was a wonderful evening and we could not have been made to feel more welcome. Louis made our evening more special. We highly recommend Noord and will be returning again.

Dining at Noord for New Year’s Eve was one of the truly best dining experiences we have had. The food was imaginiative and delicious. The staff was welcoming, accommodating and most attentive without being at all overbearing. In speaking with the owner, Joncarl, during the meal, it is clear that they have achieved his goal of having great food in a welcoming and relaxed setting. We will look forward to returning.

Parking (or the utter lack thereof) is atrocious. Felt that the restaurant alternated between drafty and cranked-up heat. Awkward entrance and no room for a proper check-in/reservation desk. BYOB. Food was good but not over-the-top amazing.

As always, Noord delivered on a great dining experience. The food was tremendous. Our party of 6 had a variety of dishes from trout, snert and mussels. Being a BYOB is an extra bonus. The staff is tremendous, in fact the owner, JonCarl walked me over to the local Bottleshop to pick up an extra bottle of wine! We will not let as much time go by before the next visit.

The service was exceptional! Always a wonderful experience to converse and be served by the owner!
The food from appetizers to dessert was delicious.
We started with pork coquettes. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the special seafood stew. I ordered the rabbit leg which was cooked to perfection. We ended with almond cake with whipped pudding and cranberry bread pudding.Highly recommend and can’t wait to return to taste the other menu items!

Superb--one-of-a kind, never fails to impress. Smorebrodt is a must, esp when it includes smoked salmon. Gravlax excellent. Creative and absolutely delicious, there is nothing else like it in Philadelphia. Staff make you feel at home (esp. Louis).

Noord was a friendly and accommodating experience that propelled those familiar with the cuisine of the region back in time to those experiences. We had an Open Table reservation, which we were able to adjust to a much earlier time. Staff was friendly without being cloying and dishes were delicious. It highlights a beauty of Philadelphia, delightful dining experiences in neighborhoods that allow visitors to experience the city without chain-store restaurants!!

House smoked fish salads piled high on toasts. Autumnal brisket stew tender with roasted red potatoes and thick, delicious carrots.freshly pickled cucumbers and delicate whole leaf lettuce with robust mustard sauce. rich and gooey bread pudding with stunning cinnamon bun / cheesecake - style icing. Soft hunk of rye bread with warm melty butter pre-meal. Intimate, but loud. Not a bad thing because it allows you to feel free to laugh and holler even tho it’s small and fancy it has the feel of a nice pub room. Aesthetically pleasing paintings of trees and roots on the walls. Fantastic location. Heaping piles of food. Unique. Will return from time to time to rediscover and revisit the menu and the chef’s incredible vision.
