For this year's celebration, we'll be offering a 4-course supper for $35 including our hand-pulled Stracciatella, our famous Bambino pizza and carrot cake, house-made lots of local carrots. To keep things fun and interesting, we'll run some off-menu specials fit for the occasion. A la carte ordering will be available at the bar and yes, we'll still have our late-night happy hour kick off at 9p.
Excellent food and delightful service, conveniently close to both the Lyric and Meyerhoff.
Good food and a great server in Connor. We will return.
Service was excellent; and nice surprise that they have a happy hour on Sunday! Eclectic selection of food— good.
We had a great time! We always do at Noona’s. Great service! Great food! Great ambiance!
Belated Valentine celebration
Excellent service and food was generally very good. Music was loud and not to our liking. Linguine dish was excellent as was an appetizer. Broccoli dish was good but not that special. No decaf coffee. Would recommend and plan to go back and try the pizza.
Without a doubt one of the best places I have eaten.
We enjoyed our meal and chatting with Akiva Katz!
Noona's is a great destination for a date night or meeting friends. The food is all top notch but reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the bartenders know what they're doing. There isn't a thing to complain about.
Reminds if a great neighborhood restaurant. Great pricing for quality food.
What a gem~ Had wanted to try - just hadn’t made it then Restaurant week listed in Sun paper~
The staff were very personable & the food was very very good! I like food - I really like food & I have every intention of returning sooner than later~
Came for restaurant week but will be back!! Food was incredible and the ambiance was great! Had a really good experience.
The food was good, the service was spotty. I had to wait for more than 20 minutes for my Bloody Mary, watching as other tables that were seated after us get their drinks. The food came out about 15 minutes after that. We had asked that our salads come out the same time as our main courses which didn't happen. But the eggs Benedict was good, the eggs cooked well, the hollandaisse sauce was good. The English muffin was too dense without any nooks and crannies that I like so much about them. My tablemate's pizza was excellent.
Wonderful host, excellent food. Very nice night!
Fabulous food and service!
This was our second time here and while it felt like there were some subtle changes to the things we ordered, we loved it all. The roasted broccoli is delicious! The service was excellent-prompt, responsive and proactive as well. We really loved the special touches of the gingersnap cookie and celebratory cocktail to finish off the evening.
Service, drinks, and food were all great. This place is a must.
My parents, husband and I went to Noonas before seeing a show at the Lyric - from the friendly welcome, to the delicious food and the complimentary cookies with our check - we had a fantastic time!! We loved sharing a pizza and small plates. Street parking is free after 6PM and it’s less than a block from the Lyric. This along with the great service, we’ll surely be back!!
Delicious creative yet casual food. Charming staff as well and great atmosphere!
Music too loud
Cold by the door
Hi Sally, Thank you for coming to dine with us, and thank you for taking the time to let us know which parts of your experience were less than positive. We strive to vary the music level throughout the day to complement the ambient noise as our dining space changes. In the future, we're happy to adjust the volume to improve your dining experience. Should you find your self back in the neighborhood, I'd be happy to reserve the table of your choice. Sincerely, Akiva Katz, Manager
We had high expectations for Noona's. We were impressed with the redesign and vision for the space. The well appointed bar definitely let us know the theme was Italian with the amari front and center. The minimalist yet casual elegant setting helped to set the mood. My cocktail was artfully prepared and we ordered the tot appetizer. The crispness of the tots and salmon roe helped to tie all the flavors together with an explosion of umami.
We then ordered the forester pizza, and this is where the proverbial wheels fell off. I have had Sourdough pies before and this one had good texture, but something was missing. There was no tang or salt to speak of in the dough. The hen of the wood mushrooms which dominated the landscape of the pizza lacked appropriate seasoning. We tried adding salt after the fact but even that could not resurrect the dish. Both our server and manager apologized about our entree and we promptly left understandably disappointed. Maybe we should have kept it simple and just had the margherita.
Always great food, thoughtfully prepared. Great service.
Excellent service, well thought out menu, cocktail, and wine list. We had the roasted carrots and the Forester pizza, both of which were very good. Nice neighborhood joint and close to the Lyric Theater. You won’t be disappointed.
Amazing food and drinks! The server was fantastic and very attentive. My only complaint was that the sides were a bit pricey.
Great happy hour that includes Saturday until 7 pm. Good weekly specials like half priced wine on Wednesday and bobo pizzas on Tuesday. Loved the Forester pizza with lots of Maitake mushrooms and the oven roasted broccoli.
Great food, friendly service
The food was good but there wasn’t enough of it when you considered how much you were paying for a couple little pieces of food. It took forever to get the food and the kitchen wasn’t even busy. We were there with four people and some dishes came out While other people had to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes for their dish. wasn’t very smooth
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm very glad that you joined us for dinner, and I am sorry that your dinner with us was anything less than wonderful. If you should find yourself in the neighborhood again, we would relish the opportunity to provide exemplary service. Please do let me know by calling the restaurant at 410.424.0857, and asking for Akiva.
Everything was delicious!!
A casual place with fantastic food. The pizzas are creative and delicious. We especially liked the Magic Molly pizza.
It’s nice that happy hour specials extend to the tables, particularly since it is more like a bar with lots of tables than a place with distinct spaces. Enjoyed the roasted carrots and the house-made cheeses. The pizza was adequate. Taharka ice cream was delicious. Liked the small, focused menu.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm very glad that you joined us for dinner, and I am sorry that your dinner with us was anything less than wonderful. We put a lot of love and care into our pizza and welcome any more feedback that you might have to offer us. We would relish the opportunity to make a second impression. Food was quite good - we tried several different pizzas and appetizers, and all were very tasty. Service was a bit chaotic, but kind in giving the children crayons and activity pages. A good neighborhood place that gets somewhat noisy, but delivers well on taste.
Very fun spot! Nice atmosphere, nice music, nice food and nice service. Great location. All in all, a good experience!
We randomly decided on Noona's during the afternoon when in search of a modertately-priced italian inspired meal. I am so glad we choose wisely. Our table was ready for us when we arrived. The server was knowledgeable about the specials and the menu. As we made our decisions, she validated our choices. The food arrived at a perfect pace. We ordered 3 drinks and 2 small plates from the happy hour menu, along with the Friday night special negroni cocktail and Stracciatella. We devoured the cheese with the warm and crusty bread immediately. Next we had our roasted broccoli and ceasar salad. Perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. We ordered 2 vegetarian pizzas and the gnocchi. The pizzas were outstanding with a crispy crunch and unique flavor profiles reflected by their interesting ingredients. We left satisfied and excited to return again in the near future.
We went here before the lyric. It was so good. The service was attentive and the set up was nice. The gnocchi was delicious. I used my husbands pizza crust to get every bit of sauce. Usually with the amount of food we order we’d have leftovers. Not from noonas! We’ll be back for sure.
Generous portions and delicious food, will definitely be back.
Everything was excellent. From the friendly greeting when we arrived, to the superb food, to the great service throughout the meal. We had the meatballs, caesar salad, green salad, wings and ricotta toast for starters and the most difficult thing was deciding which was best. We then had the Napoli pizza and mushroom pizza. Both were excellent with great crust which was thin and crispy, with no droop. A branzino was available as a special and this was cooked perfectly. We do not live close but are looking for a reason to return and can't wait.
Really fantastic experience for Baltimoreans plus an out of town guest. Highly recommend the Bambino pizza and the sweet potato appetizer.
A very warm and welcoming first experience. Two for one pizzas on Tuesdays is a great deal and let us try more things on the menu than we otherwise would have in one visit.
We loved our evening at Noona's. The atmosphere is casual but upscale with a nice bar. The staff could not have been any nicer. We arrived at 6:55pm for a 7pm reservation and the waitress let us know that we could take advantage of the happy hour specials which ended at 7pm. The appetizer specials were delicious, lovely glasses of wine and then ordered three kinds of the best sour dough pizza we've had anywhere in the area. We ended the meal with ice cream with olive oil and sea salt and lemon sorbet, and then were treated to Paw Paw sorbet, all delicious! We can't wait to go back.
Really wonderful evening at Noona's! We went after we saw the review in the Sun, expecting low key but excellent pizza. Yes, but so much more. The ricotta was unbelievable, the cocktails were excellent, and the service was really good. Surprisingly great evening, can't wait to go back.
Why this place doesn’t have a line out the door is beyond me. So good. They make their own cheese for crying out loud! The presentation is as good as the taste. And somehow it’s about half as expensive as what you’d think it’d be.
Check this place out before there’s a three-week waitlist for reservations.
