Enjoyed our visit to this little gem for a local date night. Great cocktails and even yummier food! Recommend the Hey Seoul Sister cocktail (shot out to Tara the GM) octopus appetizer, Permaquid oysters and salmon entree!! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable!

Overall great experience looking forward to my next visit!

Food was excellent. Steak was seasoned and cooked well, the oysters were delicious and sides were all good too. The only issue we had was with the bar service. It was extremely slow, the wine ordered was not chilled and it took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. The server should have told us to order something else. It easily took 15-20 minutes between ordering a drink and receiving it.

First time visiting Noona and was not disappointed. We are always excited when we get a new local dining establishment. Downtown Duluth needed a fine dining restaurant to round out the other offerings and Noona did not disappoint. We went on a Thursday evening and had a reservation. The reservation probably wasn't necessary but I'm sure that'll change as it gains in popularity. We took our boys (4 & 8) because they are adventurous eaters but this is probably not the place to go with kids who only eat chicken nuggets and hot dogs.

We started off with the shrimp cocktail for the boys and we had the octopus which was outstanding. We also had both salads (a wedge and a caesar) which were both delicious. Finally a place that understands all good caesar salads have anchovies. We then spit the yellowfin tuna poke and the ribeye along with sides of amazing cheesy corn and kimchi rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and the food was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and personable.

I am looking forward to returning to sample the oysters and other inventive main courses.

Should be on everyone's bucket list! Fine dining, great atmosphere, and you can order an artistic plate or a burger. A mix of upscale dining and friendly servers, you will probably meet the owner!

Wonderful gem of a restaurant located in downtown Duluth. Very interesting menu including a wide variety of oysters. We had "Q" as our server and he was excellent and very knowledgeable. The restaurant construction led to it being a little noisy but it didn't detract from the excellent food.

Best meal we have had in a while. Better steak (had the regular ribeye) than well-known Atlanta steak houses like Rathbun Steak, Bones, etc. Amazing delicious charred fat flavor on the outside crust of steak. Would definitely crave it and want to go back! The smashed potatoes with chimichurri was also amazing as was the beef carpaccio and grilled octopus. The only thing was was just OK was the kimchi fried rice. Would opt for the roasted broccoli to try next time. Our only negative was that we were literally told to move from the bar to our table right after our drinks came at the bar. By the end of our meal, it was clear that this place doesn't have the sustaining power in a given night to support a second wave of late night dining in Duluth. Just not enough people there... So, why rush people from the bar to the table if you really only need one wave of seating? Other than that, the food was phenomenal!

We wanted it to be as good as it looked. The restaurant is cute and cozy. And that's where it stops. One plus- the oysters were fresh-Ordered the farm egg which was supposed to come poached in a creamy sauce- the sauce was boiling hot and the poached egg was essentially hard boiled. The caesar was forgettable- dressing not creamy and rich- too tangy and not enough cheese on the salad. The cheesy corn was so burnt tasting we had to send it back and couldn't stomach getting a replacement. The snapper was cold ( we were later told this was supposed to be served room temp but it wasn't on the menu- who would want room temp fish? ) No flavor to the fish other than the cold salad on top. Lastly, the high end steak was not cooked properly. How do you ruin this quality of steak? We don't know. The manager was nice- removed the farm egg and cheesy corn from our bill and comped a dessert. ( But charged us for the coffee- lol) We are foodies and were so happy about this place coming to this area. so disappointed. Never again. Sorry guys. Need a new chef!!

My husband and I love going out and trying new places but are rarely blown away. Noona blew us away. The service was stellar, the menus was focused and every dish delivered. Everything is worth the price and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a date night spot or a place for a special occasion.

The main issue we had was the noise level and too close tables. It is too noisy to hear your dinner companions talk. Also, the tables are too close together for any kind of privacy. The food and service was excellent. It might be best for lunch.

Our party of 4 enjoyed our meal. The cocktails and food was very good but very pricey.Service was pretty good but it was 15 or 20 minutes between finishing our salads and getting our steaks. And I guess some would call it a vibrant scene but to me, the restaurant was noisy. All in all, not somewhere we’ll go again soon or often but a nice upscale addition to the area but thinking if Noona wants to survive long term they may need to take a look at their pricing.

Our food was great and our server was good. Very friendly. Service from the bar and kitchen was slow. Loved the beet salad! My steak was cooked perfectly and our side dishes were great. Would have like a better bread selection than what appeared to be a quartered hamburger bun to go with what I consider a nice variety of choices. Our server also lacked a little bit of knowledge about product sources, but overall was a good experience. We will go back!

We dined on a Wednesday evening, and it did not take long for the restaurant to fill up! Our service was very good, even though it appeared they may have been understaffed that night. The Beet Salad was unique and delicious; oysters really very delicious. We were celebrating an engagement, which the staff not only kindly acknowledged, but they generously brought complimentary dessert to our table - tasty creme brûlée - as well as some sparkling wine for the happy couple. Overall, a very good experience which I wasn’t expecting in downtown Duluth.

The oysters we're outstanding and had a good price. The food was good, I especially enjoyed the beef tar tar. However, it was overpriced and a la carte at that. We eat upscale a lot but this was not worth it except for those oysters. I would definitely do the 1/2 price happy hour for the oysters

Noona is very good! The restaurant is small, so reservations fill quickly. The oyster selection is outstanding with size, taste and salinity noted on a separate oyster menu. The steak cut selection is traditional with toppings and sides that are more Asian. Other than oysters, we did not try the seafood, so I cannot comment their. The steaks were well prepared and the temps were exactly as ordered. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be back.

Date night and wanted something nice but didn't want to drive into Atlanta. Found this place by searching Yelp. I believe this place has only been open a few months. We went here on a Wednesday night so there was plenty of open seats. Great atmosphere, the seating is standard (i.e. no booths) so it's not really intimate but the ambiance is good. Food and drinks were great although pricey - about what you would expect to pay at a fine dining location inside the perimeter (appetizers, mains, shared dessert and 4 alcoholic drinks was $150+ for 2 people). I believe between 4-6 PM they have a "happy hour" where oysters are half price. I would visit again for happy hour or possibly dinner again for a special occasion/date night.

A fantastic experience overall, if a bit pricey.

Noona has all the right pieces for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is filled with exciting Korean twists on standard steak house dishes, the cocktails are fun and pair well with the menu, and the wine list has a decent selection at varying price points.

We sampled food and drink from all portions of their menu and were pleased with everything that was served to us from presentation to taste. Huge shout out to Noona's steaks as they're so good they could convert a vegan.

What stood out the most to us on our first visit was the Oyster Menu. Noona does a fantastic job of giving the diner multiple options of varying Oyster sizes, flavors, and textures. The descriptions for each Oyster could not be more spot on which made trying new oysters comfortable and exciting.

Prices are comparable to what you would find in a high end Steak & Oyster bar in Downtown Atlanta, which may come as a surprise to diners not accustom to dining inside the beltline.

The higher prices do not seem senseless though. Noona's steaks are brought in from a top tier butcher out of Chicago and the Oysters come in fresh daily. Not exactly exciting if you like to support local suppliers or farm-to-table, but it does explain the price.

The atmosphere is pleasant and fits well in the historic Duluth location. We made Noona a date night location for us, but I fully expect a more casual return visit to relax and enjoy one of their fantastic cocktails and a few oysters at their bar.

I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Oysters were fresh and delicious. However we weren’t given any lemon. When we asked for it, we were given dry lime slices from the bar; yuck. Dry aged beef was amazing. Overall very good food.

The only reason why I did not give 5 stars all the way is because we had reservations and had to wait for a table when we clearly saw 2-3 tables for 2 people that were open and we were not greeted shortly after we came into the door. We didn't have to wait a super long time but it didn't look like they were super slammed either. When we walked in we were clearly seen by who seemed to be the manager/owner and then he finally acknowledged us as he was picking up the phone and asked us to wait. But our server, Emanuel, made up for it and our food was delicious! Emanuel was very attentive and I have been on a special diet for the past few weeks (which has been annoying for me because I LOVE food and dining experiences) and he answered all of my questions! He even went out of his way to check on how a side dish was prepared without me asking (because I didn't think of it) and he let me know that the side dish I picked had an ingredient in it that I could not eat. That's what I call taking care of your customers! The prices are a little higher and it's like eating out in Atlanta, tables along the wall are close together so if you're not into that, you might want to have more than 2 people go because the "close" tables seemed to be for just 2 people. It's very cute inside. Again, besides the start that really wasn't a huge deal just something I noticed. I would recommend this place and I would go back and try other dishes while NOT on a restricted diet! :)

Great food. Great environment-nice space reuse/decor, fresh, good energy. Other than our table neighbors being served our food and digging into it before realizing the servers mistake and eating around lots of extra "buns" -thanks to the table setup, noise level and servers wedging themselves between tables - we really enjoyed ourselves and will come back occasionally.

The service was decent, but the seating was very cramped and I would say not overly comfortable. It was pretty noisy . This seemed like a gathering place for the local neighborhood and thwt did give an air of the place to be. It was definitely not the kind of place I would rate as fine dining. The oysters were fresh but there were no condiments offered other then the vinegar. No hot sauce or anything that is usually served it’s raw oysters. They do not serve ice tea so water or soft drinks are what is available if you do not want alcoholic drinks. The wine was s very meager pour, just enough to barely meet the minimum. Usually you get a small carafe . They were a little pricey on their wine by the glass.

I ordered the special and the skirt steak while a somewhat tougher cut of meat was very tough. The potatoes it was served on was nicely done.

All in all we would not return to Noonas now would I recommend it to friends.
