Nook - Tucson
Enjoy exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere at Nook. It's a wonderful spot for enjoying a delicious meal while catching up with old acquaintances over lunch. Nook is located just south of the Prima County Public Library on East Congress Street. It opened in 2015 and has become a trendy eatery that serves up New American cuisine. Owners Nikki and Matt Thompson along with Todd Anderson are fellow Tucsonans who love their community. Local artists have work showcased throughout this contemporary restaurant.
Nook also prides itself on serving up locally sourced food. Try the Godfather Benedict with prosciutto, arugula, poached egg hollandaise and balsamic drizzle for breakfast, or come down during lunch for a green corn tamale pie with cabbage salad. It offers take-out service and is open for breakfast and lunch during the week. This restaurant also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Good food, clean atmosphere, the service was very slow and our server forgot to bring us two dishes we ordered. Breakfast was well over an hour and a half
Lovely outdoor dining area! Would love to go back in the evening sometime.
If you go for brunch, get the cinnamon roll griddle cakes! OMG so good!
Neat brunch spot in downtown Tucson. Food and service were fantastic!
Amazing service and food as always. Came right at opening and it was very quiet and nice. Food price is extremely reasonable for the quality and portions. One of my fave pure breakfast places to go.
Enjoyed unique drinks and delicious brunch here...cute atmosphere too
We loved our brunch at Nook! We originally selected this restaurant based on the fact that it had an aesthetically pleasing and large outdoor patio dining area. The service was excellent and our food was delicious! The yogurt parfait, smashed hash and breakfast burrito were some of our favorites. We highly recommend this spot for brunch!
Great outside open outside sitting, excellent foods and well staffed.
We never actually had a server. The hostess did her best, but it was too much to ask of her to seat everyone and end up being our server. I don't know if the restaurant was short-staffed or this is the norm. Also from seating to receiving food was 50 minutes. The food was excellent, so we would be willing to try again and hoping this was just a tough Sunday for them.
Almost amazing cinnamon roll pancakes! Would eat these all the time if I could. Great menu options and my husband loved his steak and eggs
We tried The Godfather Benedict & griddle cakes & hash. All Delicious! Cute little place with great food. I would recommend it!
Always a winner. Best place to visit when we visit our kids in college.
Came down from Phoenix for a day trip to Tucson. Looked online through the open table app and found this restaurant. When we arrived it was right in downtown and the restaurant had a Flagstaff vibe to it. There were paintings all over and had a collective ambiance. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese burger. The egg came sunny side up, the bacon was amazing so was the actual burger patty, it came with fries but you can choose smashed hash browns or a salad. The fries were just as good. Probably one of the best meals I have had. The service and staff were also amazing. Would definitely recommend it.
Probably our new favorite breakfast destination in Tucson!!
We enjoyed our brunch a lot (especially the scones). It was a bit noisy, not unexpected for a Saturday brunch.
Nook always has good food and always great service. Their outdoor area is open and nice as well
Fun atmosphere, great portion size! Would go again for brunch.
Hidden gem in the heart of tucson. The ambience was excellent and the staff was friendly.
Was a very pleasant surprise. Service could have been better but they are short staffed due to the virus but it was worth the wait
Awesome food, awesome staff, great prices.
Great Food! We were in Tucson for a few days and ate here 3 times. Service was great and the food was excellent
This place is amazing! A group of friends and I had brunch here twice while visiting Tucson, everything we tried was delicious and the staff were wonderful.
I have been there once before and it was great just as I remembered.
The food and service is always great! Weather is cooling down and the outside seating is perf!
It’s my go-to for brunch with my best friend. Great food
We stumbled upon Nook as it was close to our hotel and one of the few restaurants open. It was excellent! We ended up eating breakfast here all three days we were in town. It served up great food, wonderful attentive servers, good menu choices and appropriate safety protocols. I especially appreciate the menu marking gluten-free options.
Went here with my fiancé’s family for a brunch on Sunday! The place was really cool and had a hip vibe! It was a little noisy while we were there but overall a good meal.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Everything was fantastic. We had Bloody Mary's, a breakfast burrito, eggs benedict and lox. Every bite of food was wonderful and the service was top-notch. We sat outside as a nice change of pace. It started to get pretty hot as we left so I am glad we arrived when we did. Thanks for a great meal.
Great service and the food was amazing :)
Nook is always a great place for brunch.
Cute place
Our food was delicious - very nice, laid back atmosphere. We'll be back.
What a pleasant surprise. I breakfast joint with creative cuisine! It is a cute little spot, the server was pretty busy but stayed on top of our needs. We had the tamale pie which was full of flavor and the steak with chimichurri and eggs, the meat was cooked perfectly and was tender and the chimi had a kick. They also have some nice baked goods. We will return when we are next in Tucson.
What a great little gem - we sat on the patio for fathers day and it was fantastic - can't wait to get back there again
I had the cinnamon roll pancakes and my companion had biscuits and gravy. Both items exceeded our expectations. Service was very good and prices were you you
Great spot! I was a little hesitant because of the downtown location, but the decor and outdoor patio are fabulous. They offer a paperless menu (online via scanning QR code), and the staff wore masks as is the new norm. Had the avocado toast, with a side of bacon with a coffee and cookie to go.
Staff was friendly and accommodating - would definitely recommend stopping by here for a brunch with friends.
Very creative offerings prepared and served in a very good way. Setting was comfortable . Only issue was the water had a dusty taste to it.
This place was a great find. Cute decor, interesting menu. Really handy to the Fox.
Chicken pot pie and steak with fritter were both awesome. Nice and close to the Fox theater. Great venue for before the show. Service was outstanding. P.S. The Red Ruby Mule was great too.
The dinner was exceptional. However, we were surprised to arrive to a set Valentines menu for $49. We were going to the theater for a concert and had trouble finding a restaurant as all were booked up or had set menus at $60 or more The Nook had a very reasonably priced dinner menu online and so we booked. There was nothing online about a fixed price menu. Apparently, the hostess called all bookings but I did not get a call. They should have had the fixed price menu online a week before the day!!!! The one entree on the menu was normally $15. So prices were definitely put up for Valentine’s Day. All that aside , the food was excellent!!!
