Our style is fundamentally modern British. Using some modern cooking techniques (and old ones) we bring food to you that excites, satisfies and leaves you feeling happy. As a small family run restaurant, we deliver a warm and relaxed atmosphere whilst you dine. You’ll dine in a style that takes you back in time whilst enjoying modern cuisine which really creates that ‘retro’ feel.

It doesn’t stop there.. We’re in the ever growing process of evolving our wine list to bring you the very best wines to match our food from the moment you arrive till the last drop of Muscadet you sip after your dessert.

                                  Delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Very attentive waiting staff. Lovely quiet secluded country location. Overall was a fantastic discovery and highly recommended. Hopefully on their way to something special and award winning.

                                  We drove 70 miles for lunch. This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first visit last year. The portions are a little large for me but the quality of the food was excellent.

                                  Amazing food and service. We are visiting the area and stubbled across the Nook on trip advisor and we wernt disappointed. Food was amazing and beautifully presented, yet the atmosphere was totally relaxed and chilled. The black garlic butter was that good we brought some from the chef to take home! we can’t wait to visit again.

                                  Food as usual was excellent and is of a fine dining level. The service was better than before and is definitely improving. The young ladies that serve do so with a friendly but professional attitude. We will visit often
