Love the creative menu items but the food was a little disappointing. My curry chicken dish was bland and none of the other five at our table had anything exceptional to say about the food. The ambience is great and I hope you'll continue to work on the flavors.

We absolutely loved our experience at Nook. Our waiter was polite, helpful, attentive, and good for a laugh when he brought out those olive oil shots. It's a wonderful place for a novel eating experience, a quiet dinner date, some hearty nourishing food, as well as interesting and unique kombucha infused mixed drinks.
Don't listen to anyone here telling their food isn't seasoned. The notes are subtle, as paleo food often is, but packed with a variety of textures and flavors.

It’s my second time here and it was still an overall enjoyable experience. I love the healthy options they provide along with the quiet and cozy environment on a Friday night. The taste of the food was not necessarily exceptional but it’s satisfying and guilt-free. I would recommend it if you are looking for something light and clean to satisfy your stomach.

It was ok-very disappointed that the salmon was farm raised at a more health conscious restaurant. Very glad that Indy has a paleo restaurant but it needs improvement. Pizza was ok- not great flavor. Everything was just ok- definitely not memorable food for the price.

Sorry to say, but we won't be coming back to Nook. I cook and eat a Paleo diet, but unfortunately, Nook really missed the mark. Overall, I felt that the menu was uninspired. Also, the meals we had were bland, except for the heavy amounts of garlic was used in a feeble attempt to give things flavor. If I was curious about eating Paleo, which is essentially no grains or legumes, this would be enough to discourage anyone from this diet. Both my husband and I were disappointed.

The service and ambiance was great. My wife and daughter enjoyed the tenders and sweet potato fries. My burger was dry and unseasoned. The tortilla was delicious but my arugula salad that came with it was bland as well. The last time we dined my wife loved her paleo dinner but my pizza was lack luster again. I feel as though your kitchen nails the paleo diet for your niche but when regular diners are along there is a lack of attention paid to their preferences. Being a chef myself for over 30 years i try not to be too overly critical but i hope this sincere critique helps elevate the bar. We will definitely be dining again often when we come downtown for venues. Thank you for your offerings. My wife also just informed me that the server was hitting on her and my daughter before i arrived. This was very disheartening. He offered to get her things complimentary while they wait.

Since my family is working on our second month of Whole 30, we were excited to find a restaurant that catered to Paleo and Whole 30 specific diets. My wife had the Ahi tuna salad and it was wonderful! My 6 year old son had the almond breaded chicken fingers and the sweet potato fries. Both were very good. I opted for the "Nook" burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were good, but the burger and mayo were not very appetizing. I have made many batches of Whole 30 compliant home-made mayonnaise, so I know it can taste better than store bought mayo. Unfortunately, the mayo I was served tasted like dark olive oil. The burger was edible, but it had no flavor. Many spices could have been used to enhance the beef flavor, but I cannot remember tasting even salt. In all, the restaurant has a novel concept and offers a diverse menu that focuses on food that is good for you. We had a good experience, but I wish the burger and mayo flavors were more well thought out.

In town visiting and made a last minute reservation because we read about the bacon and guacamole ap - it was worth going there for that. Absolutely delicious. All three of us liked our entries and loved the brussel sprouts we also got for an ap. This place is especially great if folks are on special diets - whether paleo, whole 30, or GF, or even vegan:

The menu online was not the same that was offered. The service was poor - I understand it may have been an off night and they were understaffed. The food was not good; seasoned poorly and not worth the price. The vibe is great but would not recommend unless someone was on the Paleo Diet exclusively.

Food was delicious. I love that they cater to special diets- paleo, keto, gluten free. They also work with those that may have food allergies. The guacamole appetizer and the brussel sprouts appetizer were both delicious. My husband had the salmon with goat cheese and pistachio on top and said it was really good. I had the vegetable lasagne and it also was good. Had the carrot cake for dessert. Delicious!

Went here for Devour Indy. I must say the brussels sprouts were some of the best I have ever had. Appetizers and main courses were outstanding. I had the salmon and my girlfriend tried the lasagna. Dessert left a little to be desired if you have a big sweet tooth but they were still good. I didn't leave feeling like I had over indulged and need to walk off dinner due to the whole and clean ingredients. Overall 4.5/5. Would recommend. Would go again.

Fantastic to find all of this in one place. For the allergy family, this is a great find. My 10 y/o daughter had the chicken & waffles. Her statement was: "Dad, it is like breakfast and dinner had a baby!"
Great drink menu as well.

I was really excited to try Nook, as it meets a lot of my dietary preferences. It's rare to find restaurants that specialize in Whole 30 , Paleo and Keto options that don't make me worry about ingredients. I'm very particular about that! I rated Nook as fair, only because I was not impressed with their new menu item, the Avocado Toast. I was surprised that the egg white was not fully cooked and the egg itself was cold...I didn't know if that was a modern technique but the toast did not hit the mark. My husband ordered a the margarita pizza and the cheese did not melt all the way. The dough was not fully cooked through either. However, I was impressed with was the chicken and sweet potato power bowl, the BRUSSELS SPROUTS are a GAME CHANGER - WOW! Those alone were a home run. Finally, the carrot cake was a delicious way to end the meal. I think Nook absolutely is revolutionizing the idea of Paleo cuisine. I just think technique needs to be tighter. Our waiter couldn't have been nicer and the ambiance was very nice!

I love that Nook offers so many options for paleo, keto and Whole30. All of the food was great except my husband didn’t love his fish and chips. The breading wasn’t crispy like the chicken strips. Instead it was gummy. He said the fish inside was delicious but the gummy breading was a turn off.

Despite the fish and chips, we will be back! Thanks!

Great Paleo, Keto and Whole 30 options that were prepared and presented well by wonderful servers and the chef. Thumbs up for delicious tasting food and a great experience. I will go again!

I was unimpressed. They charge $11 for a taco, that’s right... one taco. The meat was good, but everything else on the tacos were dry and bland. I am an avid paleo eater and I make better tasting food than they do. I tried the chicken and waffles too but it was also bland. Try some seasoning. The servers were great tho!
