Noodles Italian Cafe & Sushi Bar Ratings and Reviews
Service was great. Owner made a table visit. Very friendly. My friends thought their food was great. The other places in town that make Cioppino (which is what i ordered) do it better (and so do I). It was sour/acidic and I didn't want to complain in front of my friends nor do I believe in wasting food. Nice big menu. Noodles wouldn't have been around this long if it didn't have something going for it. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish?
The noise level is ridiculous at dinner time. We literally had to yell at each other, and we were not seated near the music. I could forgive that for great food, but the gluten free pasta ($3 up charge) is awful. I realize that gf pasta is not usually fabulous, but this was just bad. Don’t bother with Noodles, there are many better choices in Naples.
We had not dined at Noodles in serveral years after a bad experience where our meal was rushed to make way for a some evening event. We decided to give it another try but we were disappointed. There are just so many places to get better Italian food in Naples that we won't be back. Food was average. The chicken and artichoke pasta dish was previously my favorite. It was just flat tasting, loaded with olives yet I needed to add salt and pepper to it. Server was good and attentive. When Noodles moved to their current location I worried that the concept of a Italian/sushi meant they would do neither very well. The Italian food has declined. Haven't tried the sushi
Overall everything was fine! Noodles has been in town for many years, so they obviously do something right. We had never dined here before, so we thought we'd go for New Year's Eve. Service, good; food good; seating good; atmosphere good. Multiple seating choices: inside/outside, high top, table top or bar. My only issue was with food courses being hurried. We went prior to very busy celebration time, many open tables, although place was nearly full by time main course came out. Appetizer and salad came at same time, the main course came before I was even half way done eating my salad. It was crowded onto our table and by time I was finished eating my salad, main course was luke warm at best. Food portions were exceptional for this area. Overall was good, will go back.
We were at Noodle's for Thanksgiving and were so happy with the food and especially the service. Love Noodle's. We were so happy you were open for Christmas and made reservations right away. I always get the Veal Parmigiana. I should have said something while there but the Veal was burned around the edges. The rest was really good and the inside was real good. Had the apple crisp for dessert and it was soooo good.
Have gone to this restaurant many times food is always great! This time around it was my 17-year-old daughter‘s birthday I told the waitress to bring us a piece a cake hoping they would sing happy birthday to her. That’s not what happened she brought a dessert menu it was kind of awkward so we just asked for a check
Big casual place. Stange combination of japanese ,sushi , sashimi and italian food.
With a huge menu card like this you have doubts about quality. Luckely they have a specials card aswell.
My wife took the sushi, me something from the specialscard. Both were actually not bad,but dont expect fine dining.
Service was good!
We have been to Noodles many times in the past and thought it would be a great place for a pre holiday get together with friends. The food was good, but the whole experience was ruined by terrible service. Our waiter (Josh) was the WORST, rude and inattentive. When asked about the Happy Hour, he gave us incorrect information. He seemed very put out when one person requested extra ice. One order was incorrect (veal parm instead of veal piccata). When the veal piccata arrived it was inedible. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea, it was a disaster. After the meal the manager came to our table and asked if we would like a dessert (I assume on the house) to make up for the experience, but by then we just wanted to leave. The manager asked us if we would try Noodles again, but I guess we'll have to think about it!
Not up the usual standard we have experienced before at Noodles.
Server brought bread that was cold, had to ask to bring warm bread.
The bread was spongy, as if it hadn’t raised enough.
My husbands sushi platter was very good.
I opted not to get the extra pasta with the Shrimp Provençal , was going to have the bread.
Although we've eaten there in the past & enjoyed it very much, when we dined there a few nights ago it was disappointing. Our dinners were overcooked & had sloppy presentations.
Because there was evidently a company holiday party the noise was deafening.
My only disappointment was my Special Request of a Round Table.....the restaurant telephoned me one and a half hours before we were leaving to go there to tell me that the only Round Table they had, was booked by another party! I was upset that they waited to the last minute to call me.....with 8 people, it is not easy to find a new restaurant at the last minute, and I thought they took advantage of that! Surely they had that reservation on the books, since I called two days before.
