Noodles Italian Cafe & Sushi Bar Ratings and Reviews
Not up the usual standard we have experienced before at Noodles.
Server brought bread that was cold, had to ask to bring warm bread.
The bread was spongy, as if it hadn’t raised enough.
My husbands sushi platter was very good.
I opted not to get the extra pasta with the Shrimp Provençal , was going to have the bread.
Although we've eaten there in the past & enjoyed it very much, when we dined there a few nights ago it was disappointing. Our dinners were overcooked & had sloppy presentations.
Because there was evidently a company holiday party the noise was deafening.
My only disappointment was my Special Request of a Round Table.....the restaurant telephoned me one and a half hours before we were leaving to go there to tell me that the only Round Table they had, was booked by another party! I was upset that they waited to the last minute to call me.....with 8 people, it is not easy to find a new restaurant at the last minute, and I thought they took advantage of that! Surely they had that reservation on the books, since I called two days before.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner and had the Turkey Dinner for Two special ... although we could have ordered off the menu. The food was excellent: served hot; it was tasty, and of apparently good quality.
The waiter was friendly and attentive and helped make our Thanksgiving dinner one worth remembering.
We've eaten at Noodles before and the food and service have always been excellent.
It's a bit noisy for our liking, but that's our only real complaint about the place.
The food's just a bit on the pricey side, but certainly not out of line for a "nicer" restaurant.
We intend to go to Noodles again. Soon.
Noodles is dependably excellent. Traditional Italian but delicious! We are not sushi people, but that option is available. It sounds like a weird combo, but they make it work. Lively happy hour with half price drinks. Even though we had a new server the service was excellent. Our favorite Italian!
We were a group of 12, including several children and they were very accommodating to us. They set up an area that provided us privacy but not isolation. The service person was very courteous, friendly and quick without being pushy. The food was service was great with all being served simultaneously . The food was hot, tasty and high quality.
Definitely can recommend this for small or large groups.
The restaurant surpassed what we expected. The specials were great: lasagna for $10, lemon drop martini for $5, tiramisu for $5 and several choice appetizers. The pork, lamb, sausage and lobster ravioli were all excellent. A group of four ladies was very pleased at the place we chose for dinner. Will was an excellent waiter.
We went for the $10 lasagne with friends but ended up ordering the special that included a bottle of wine. I had chicken Marsala which was delicious. The waiter, I wish I got his name, was one of the best waiters in a very long time. This is one of our go-to restaurants.
There are five of us who get together for one another's birthdays each year. We always order 8 - 10 appetizers, together with our wines/cocktails. Noodles will not provide Happy Hour appetizer pricing in their dining room, even though it is difficult to sit at a bar for a girl's get together. We accepted the table and the higher pricing. The food was marginal at best. We all felt it was one of our worst experiences throughout the years - paid more, bad food - total bummer for our birthday gal. On the positive side, our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. This will definitely not be on our list in the future.
We were pleasantly surprised, the food was very good, a little disappointed with the bread, we would have preferef a good warm italian crusty bread.
We had cocktails and a bottle of Chianti, appetizer: artichoke, avocado dip, spaghetti meat balls, and angel hair shrimp pomodoro and capuccino 👍
We have been there several times as it is one of our favorites and it usually scores between a 4 to a 5. We brought friends with us to introduce them to what we considered a hidden gem. We were disappointed in both the service and food. We actual thought it was under new management. There was a little language issue with the waiter. We ordered water with lime, tonic water was brought to the table. We ordered 2 veal marshals, pappadella bolegnese, and pork osso bucco. The dinner order unfortunately was wrong but to the waiters credit he brought the wrong meal out immediately. The pork osso bucco was tough, I usually order the lamb shank which falls off the bone. The pappadelle was good, the veal Marcella was ok not great. We definitely thought there was a different chef. Also, for dessert the waiter indicated it was a peanut butter cake. I asked him if it was a chocolate cake and he said yes. When he brought it is was a pie not a cake. When the bill came, the tonic water was on the bill. He brought one bill so we told him to split it in half. He didn't understand that and was trying to explain that he would charge us what we had and then the other couple what then had. We did feel sorry for him because he didn't understand just splitting it down the middle. He apologized about getting the order wrong and he did say he was new. We will go back to give it another try. It is worth trying as we felt it was an off night.
The food was excellent; highly recommended the Veal ribeye -- AMAZING! Our server, Chris, however, was unattentive and seemed to not want to be at work. There were 2 times he filled water glasses at the table but left mine empty. Twice we needed a round of drinks and sat with empty glasses for 10+ minutes. It *was* a Saturday night, but we could see that Chris had only 2 other tables. His service was lackluster and poor, but that should not stop you from going to Noodles. The food was excellent. (And the food runners do an amazing job at being quick, efficient, and very polite)
Noodles had been a favorite for many years. Disappointed this time. The staff is very good. Some menu items have changed. Still a convenient location. Very disappointed in lamb which have had in past - it was extremely salty, lacking in taste, seemed over cooked. My brie entree was not the same as I'd remembered in the past - but at least was ok. I will go elsewhere in the future.
