For context, to me, 5 stars need to be left for Michelin star restaurants or unique places to drive an hour to go to just for dinner. Nonnas is a beautiful space, the food was very good, everyone was pleased and said they'd return. The menu can accommodate vegetarians, albeit not as much with appetisers. The portions are perfect, you are not going to feel overstuffed walking out, but you won't feel hungry, either - a perfect balance. The place was very busy (as you'd expect on a Saturday night on Commercial Drive). Strong wine list, and the service was excellent, very well staffed, and it looks like a lot of attention is paid to food service, bussing and presentation. A testament to Management. I can see this place rivalling Havana as a local destination dining experience. Good job.

They spilled a stink on my top and it is stained They should of offered to dry clean it or give a gift card I’m not impressed

It was my second time there and everything was awful this time. We were celebrating our anniversary with my husband, and we were hoping to have good food and a great time. We had none of those!!! Service at this place is surprisingly terrible and food is okay at best!

Had a great Negroni, numerous burrata options for appies, gnocchi, lasagna and veal pacatta for our dinners...great service, nice ambience and an excellent dining experience!

This was our first time at Nonna’s. The spaghetti dish was delicious, as was the burratta pear appetizer. The staff couldn’t have been nice and very accommodating. Loved the gentleman that played the accordion and came for a minute at each table. Reasonable prices and good portions of food. Loved the whole experience and would highly recommend and go back. Thankyou for a great evening.

I took my girlfriend for brunch on a Sunday. Food was delicious service was very attentive and the place surprisingly quiet for a Sunday afternoon. I'd love to go again one evening when the music and dancing is in full swing.

I almost hate to write this review as I don't want to let too many people know what a great little gem this is and not to be able to get in again myself!! We were greeted by an Irish beauty, who I found out later, was Fiona. Very welcoming and seemed so proud of her place of employment. I wish I could remember our waiter's name, but he was very knowledgable regarding the menu and offered several suggestions. We were seated during their "Happy Hour" and took advantage of two of their Burrata specialties, the Affettati and the Bomba Chili Prawns. He even came around 5 minutes before Happy Hour was over to ask if we wanted to order anything last minute - such good customer service. The couple we were with enjoyed the prawn dish so much, they actually ordered the same off the regular menu. My husband had the Osso Bucco and he said it was better than most he's had in Vancouver. I had the Mortadella pizza and lucky for me, I was so full from the delicious appetizers, I was able to bring two pieces home for lunch!! This will definitely be one of our favourite restaurants.

A few items in the buffet were not that hot, and there wasn't enough variety. The french toast was amazing though, overall a good experience.
