This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. I will be going back again!
Food was OK. Service was very good. Acoustics in the dining room were a bit annoying. Price for wine by the glass was exceedingly expensive! That alone was a big turn-off
Pasta was delicious. No steak on the menu and they only serve wine and beer. Few people there but we had a lovey time with good atmosphere.
We had our New Year’s Eve dinner here. Excellent service! Our waiter was the best and the food was delicious.
Great food and service!
We were in town visiting for the weekend. The food was tasty but the service wasn’t great. Our waitress took 15 minutes to take our drink orders and then another 20 to take our food orders. I never received the appetizer I ordered. There was a party in the back that apparently was taking all the resources from the main dining room because I noticed other patrons a bit annoyed as well. Out waitress kept leaving the restaurant to go out front and “handle a parking situation” as she described it. Anyway- again, food was good but service was pretty bad. Seems to be a common theme based on other reviews.
not a busy Sunday, we were the only ones to cater to!
Nonna's kitchen has yo be one of the best family experiences we have ever had. They were so kind and understanding with our children along with excellent service. The food speaks for itself. It felt as if we were having dinner with our family. We will be back. Thank you so much! We highly recommend.
Wonderful service and the food was outstanding. Love the feta butter with olive tapenade and olive oil. Amazing!
I was in town with my wife and daughter visiting my son who is a student at BHSU. My son mentioned he liked this Italian restaurant so we made a reservation after attending a BHSU volleyball game . We were seated right away and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it . Out waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer and a salad which were good and for entrees my wife had the salmon which she said was good and my son had spaghetti which he liked . Me and my daughter both ordered the shrimp scampi pasta but when our orders came I could tell that the shrimp was over cooked just by looking at it and I was right . It was rubbery and so was my daughters. They also could have served a little more pasta with the dish . If I ever go back I would probably try a different dish .
Go and eat here. You will not be disappointed. Excellent food overseen my Nonna herself.
Can’t go wrong.
Very nice setting in downtown Spearfish. Food was very good and service was great.
We celebrated our 6th Anniversary with dinner at Nonna’s. From start to finish, from food to service, Nonna’s always exceeds our expectations. Thank you for wonderful experience.
We are from out of state, but we make sure to eat at Nonna’s every time we are in the area. It is a wonderful, cozy place with fantastic food and excellent service. We were there last night for a family member’s birthday and had another outstanding experience. It is our family’s favorite restaurant!
Delicious food. Service was excellent. Great place
Very good food and super friendly people. Our waitress was great. Thank you for a great meal.
Excellent Italian eatery in Spearfish, SD set in a historic building on Main Street.
I was more impressed the first time we were there, this time we were seated at a table so small it barely held all the dishes. We had a reservation and there were hardly any people in the place when we got there. I had asked for a different seating but was refused. Over all the food and servicemen good but I am in no hurry to go back.
Awesome experience, service, and especially food!
We had a table outside during the Sturgis Bike rally. Very enjoyable.
The servers were great and the food was fantastic. A great evening with friends.
This place is GREAT! Food was wonderful and we were a group of 14 people. NOTE do not book multiple tables through Open table for a large group just call them and they will accommodate. The owner was onsite and was there to help and make sure we has ll we needed. Be sure to ask to see the Jewelry store they own in the back and they will open it up for you for a private showing. Thank you again Nona and we will be back! "The Boys from Boston"
Delicious!! Lovely place in the charming downtown of Spearfish, SD.
Food was good! I wish there was time between the salad and main dish. If fact I was still eating my salad. The restaurant was very warm. I wish it was cooler. Very limited menu. I will go back and request a break between items and go when it's cooler out. . Wine was excellent. Live music was a nice touch. 👌
Food was good, except dessert - they don’t have Italian favorites (tiramisu or cannoli) but have baklava! We had a lemon raspberry cake that was very disappointing, only filling was frosting! It is also a bit pricey.
We had a wonderful waitress and excellent Italian food with an American twist.
I had lasagna, and my husband had chicken parmesan. Portions were small. Side salad was extra. 4 small slices of bread. $20 for each. Service was very good.
Very good food and good service. Reasonable prices.
Great service. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food. I have celiac disease and had several gluten free options, our waiter knew everything on the menu that I could eat. The pastry chef also had several gluten free desert options. I was so happy to have found this restaurant.
The service was poor, they have plenty of servers but ours was unattentive. The food was mediocre for the cost. We made a reservation to celebrate an was left disappointed. I will not recommend this restaurant to others.
Enjoyed this place, staff is working hard but still friendly and interactive. In addition to that the food and wine options are good.
We will definitely be back next time we come through Spearfish! Great food, service and atmosphere!
Fire BOOM Select. Mi gwan go der a nudder tyme. They stay blessing the masses.
We wanted to celebrate our son’s college graduation with a family dinner. Nonna’s was the perfect setting. Great food, attentive service and ambiance- all boxes checked. We’ll be back!
Food and wine were very good and our server was exceptional!
Good food, good service, nice ambiance. Enjoyable dinner
Wonderful food, friendly staff, and a great ambience! We will be back.
I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the COVID safety practices of the staff.
Dinner with a group of friends!! Sam was our waiter he was outstanding
This place was amazing!! I am so tired of eating at chain restaurants with no flavor. We had a great time there because it was relaxing, quiet and the food and beverage selection was great to choose from.
