This was our first time eating at Nonna’s and it was delicious. The service was wonderful. The dining room is cozy and a comfortable family dining atmosphere. There was 4 of us and we had Lasagna, Creamy Green Spaghetti with added shrimp, Fettuccini Alfredo and salads. Delicious!

What a great find! We visited during a ski trip and went to Nonna's for my birthday dinner. Everything was wonderful! Food, service, ambiance, you name it! I have to be gluten free, and the gluten free pasta and chocolate torte were fantastic! I always love a nice place where both my husband and I and our daughter can find something on the menu. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

This was our go to place for special occasions. The food hasn’t been good on the last two visits. My wife’s food was cold and mine was just bad. The quality is not there anymore. We’re not going to return to the restaurant.

Outstanding food and service, amazing architecture. So glad the historical building was preserved. A super nice surprise was the live music on a Friday night! Only wish the view out the front window wasn't a dated hardware store across the street, but still a terrific venue and we will be back when in Spearfish!

Great ambiance, awesome service, and an intentionally imited but tasty menu. They don't try to make everything, but they do make everything well. We added meatballs to the penne alla vodka and we're not disappointed. The Italian Coffee Experience was a fun way to cap off dinner and worth every penny.

All the food from the bread to the drinks to the entree was superb. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. We are from back east where Italian food is common but not always excellent.. Nonna’s is excellent.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed meatball app with sangria and old fashion. Both cocktails were great. The meatballs were delicious and the bar tender (part owner with his 3 brothers) was very personable! We had the bolognese and the shrimp scampi and both were fantastic! Was a fun atmosphere and would definitely go back!

Our server was part owner with his brother and very attentive. He somehow managed the entire top floor of tables, and some downstairs, with ease. I was very impressed with him; especially since he is only 21. The crab stuffed mushrooms are to die for. Broad menu. The tables are very close together, and some poor locations at the top and bottom of the stairs, but they are doing the best to maximize the small space…we never felt crowded. If we lived in Spearfish, we would make this a regular haunt.

The bread and love tapenade was a nice touch although bread was not very good. Our server was friendly but clueless. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer and the lasagne to split as it was 24oz. The meatballs had a dribble of sauce so we asked for extra marinara. The marinara came out with the lasagne and she apologized because they don’t have a microwave. Then she left! No spoon for the lasagne to split and remove from the casserole dish and not dinner plates. A person busing tables brought us plates and a spoon that was extra large for cooking in the kitchen. The lasagne was just ok. They charged $4. To split the plate and $2. Each for the extra marinara but the rip-off was a $25 corkage fee. We are accustomed to paying corkage but $25 is what fine dining establishments charge in places like Hilton Head, Savannah or Charleston.

If you are attempting to make a reservation on Open Table, double check all of the hours and menu. I was able to make a reservation past their open hours and when they called to tell me, they didn’t know they were still on Open Table. The menu offerings were inaccurate. The food we did decide on was not good. Soggy and over breaded eggplant parmigiana. Pasta was difficult to find in the embarrassing amount of sauce. Really wish we had walked out after we realized the menu was different. Also, the prices on the menus at our table were also different. Not a well run operation. Skip it and try somewhere else.

We were staying in Spearfish and celebrating an anniversary, so we made a lunch reservation, but there was no need— plenty of room. Entrees were reasonably priced, but a side salad was $18?? Bit pricey, but it was great! My sister and I split the lasagna for an extra $4, but that was fine. I requested the waiter bring a candle for our dessert, and he came back and said they would take care of our dessert. Awesome!! The ambiance is great and it made great pictures!
