With an environment that blends architectural and familial history with modern Tuscany styles, the warmth and welcome is as tangible as the delicious scents floating from the kitchen. Nonna's Kitchen is locally owned and operated by Nancy and Darren Manzari. Nancy takes on the role of Nonna, meaning grandmother in Italian, both in the eyes of her grandchildren and of the public she loves to feed. Preparing her family recipes and sharing that food with anyone who comes to her table has been a passion her whole life. This is what Nonna's Kitchen is really about - when you dine with us, you are dining with family and friends!
- Surfaces sanitized between seatings
- Common areas deep cleaned daily
- Limited number of seated diners
- Distancing maintained in common areas
- Extra space between tables
- Waitstaff wear masks
- Staff temperature check required
We wanted to celebrate our son’s college graduation with a family dinner. Nonna’s was the perfect setting. Great food, attentive service and ambiance- all boxes checked. We’ll be back!
Food and wine were very good and our server was exceptional!
Good food, good service, nice ambiance. Enjoyable dinner
Wonderful food, friendly staff, and a great ambience! We will be back.
I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the COVID safety practices of the staff.
Dinner with a group of friends!! Sam was our waiter he was outstanding
This place was amazing!! I am so tired of eating at chain restaurants with no flavor. We had a great time there because it was relaxing, quiet and the food and beverage selection was great to choose from.
Food was good. Prices were high for the amount of food. Cute restaurant and staff was nice.
Everyone had great food, our waiter was so nice, and everything was ready quickly. I’d also like to add that if anyone is concerned about reviews claiming this business does not take the virus seriously, please disregard what you have read. They are 100% on top of it. All staff members are wearing masks and everything is cleaned in between customers. In fact, they might even be going a little overboard at this point. However, that is my opinion. Anyone who is concerned about the virus need not be at this establishment. Great place to eat dinner if you’re craving Italian.
We had a nice meal just unfortunately they were out of so many items on the menu. We will try there again hopefully they will have more items on hand.
Fantastic food and ambiance. The olive butter for the bread is to die for!
It was pretty noisy with a lot of kids and families present
Overall, good experience. Menu has some variety and everything coming out of the kitchen looked good. Penne al Vodka was tasty and Veal Marsala was also. Maybe the veal a bit overcooked, but flavors were good. Tapanade was very good- might be even better on a crusty bread. Wine list had some good choices and perhaps could have a couple more Italian red options. Looking forward to the anchovies on the next visit! ;)
Exceptional owner and exceptional food! Very glad to have a real Italian restaurant in Western SD. The only other real Italian restaurant near hear is in Pierre SD. You will have a great Italian food experience at Nonna’s!
Nonna’s always exceeds our expectations. Service is always on point, dishes are amazing as is the wine selection.
My wife and I were very impressed with the atmosphere and food. The service was a little slow but I attribute that to the number of patrons dining outside the restaurant. I was disappointed that the chicken parmesan was taken off the menu but the food was very good overall.
It’s a wonderful place with excellent food in such a small town. I’d go again!
Very disappointed. The wine by the glass servings were small. They were out of tomato mozzarella salad, San Pellegrino water and coffee! The fillet mignon steak that was supposed to be stuffed wasn’t or at least no detectable stuffing. It was over cooked and served with uninteresting unadorned asparagus and dry-precooked pasta. I got the feeling the kitchen wasn’t even trying.
Lovely place. We sat outside which was really nice but had road noise. Not their fault! The staff was great, food was great. Unique dishes
Amazing meal! Scampi, Spaghetti and meatballs, to die for red pasta sauce! Veal was fabulous! Deserts also amazing!
Staff was great. Very attentive and friendly. Food was hot with excellent flavor. Great people that make dining out a wonderful, relaxing experience.
