   Excellent food and service. The food was really tasty, especially the skate wing, but I wish they would do gluten free pizza!

   Initially everything looked great if quite noisy and packed. We had a great table location near the front of the restaurant, which we would appreciate later when the disco started! Just prior to the unexpected disco starting and whilst we were still eating the lights got gradually lower, so seeing our food became difficult. Then around 9:30 the disco ramped up and the lights lower. We now struggled to hear one another and the staff were saying. So this just might be a normal Friday night at Nona's, if so that's a day we would avoid in the future. No offer of dessert at the end was odd.

   When we booked for lunch we didn't realise that there was a special two-course lunch menu on offer. We both chose from this menu and had excellent meals. There was no skimping on the size of the dishes, despite the reasonable cost. I had the sea bass fillet for my main course. It was cooked beautifully and the vegetables were just right. I especially enjoyed the roast potatoes. My husband really loved his garlic mushrooms that he had chosen for a starter. We couldn't leave without choosing one of the fantastic cakes to have with a coffee later on in the day! I would like to add that the staff were lovely and friendly and, despite being busy, had plenty of time for a chat!

   We will definitely be returning and did enjoy our meal The lasagna we both had was very nice but it looked a little bit basic felt it needed something with it Eg side salad also I felt it was a bit expensive. Regarding noise I was annoyed to see small children running around, I’d expect this at McDonald’s but not at an Italian restaurant. Regards lee

   Nonnas kitchen is always a relaxing and enjoyable place to dine, the food is always very good, the service is of a high and attentive quality, all the staff are so friendly it really makes for a wonderful experience, I always recommend nonnas.

   I have visited Nonna’s kitchen many times in the past and I cannot recall ever having a less than excellent meal. They are always very accommodating. For instance I always have a prawn dish and they peel and fully prepare them for me. The waiters are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble I would recommend this restaurant to everybody!

    Celebrated my birthday with the family at the best Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian food in Hoddesdon on Saturday night. Disco music from 9pm lots of people dancing and having lots of fun.
