Italian
Many restaurants in Little Italy have become destinations, among them the Busalacchi family's Nonna. The rustic décor features a relaxed country-style feel throughout the restaurant, including the delightful patio. The wonderfully welcoming atmosphere celebrates yet another delicious Sicilian food lineup, including pizzas and all that you would expect from an authentic Italian menu. The terrific entrées show the Sicilian influence, and fill the restaurant with great aromas.

We would love to hear your feedback on your experience.

Food was excellent. We sat on the back patio which was very pretty and felt like a dining room. They were able to seat us a little earlier than our reservation which was nice.

We really enjoyed our dinner! The wait staff were pleasant and made sure we had everything. The arancini was delicious! My daughter enjoyed her gnocchis and while my dish was delicious I found my tortellinis just swimming in the pesto sauce. That’s probably just a personal preference along with preferring pine nuts to almonds in my pesto. Otherwise it was a great eating experience.

Celebrated my daughters 19th birthday. It was suppose to be a surprise which I mentioned several times as the reservation number kept changing, but when we checked in the lady at the desk said your entire party is here.....
Surprise blown, but the food was great as always and the service was good as well. Good have been a bit more attentive, but for a group of 15 it was terrific.

Menu on website was outdated. I wanted a sandwich and none were available. We were the only table until another family arrived and ruined our lunch. Kid screamed, kicked, hit and bellowed throughout our visit. Nothing was done.
Would not come back.

Food choices were quite extensive including vegetarian options. Waiter was friendly. Service a bit strange as they brought us our entrees right after they brought our appetizer- not what you would expect in an Italian restaurant. So if you want to dine in a leisurely fashion I suppose you need to tell them to space out the courses.

Really a nice surprise . We had thought this might be a tourist trap due to location. Instead fabulous pasta , nice small salads and reasonable and tasty Italian wines. Our waiter from Sicily was really a terrific fellow, good fun and authentic food. Highly recommend.

One of the noisiest restaurants I’ve been in for a while. Good to eat here if everyone in your party has a very loud, piercing voice that carries! You’ll be fine!

From the antipasto misto to the cannoli and éclairs, the food was really good. I ordered the seafood risotto because the lady at neighboring table had it and it looked chock full of seafood. Mine I think sat under a heat lamp too long and the portion of seafood was considerably less. Our guests enjoyed their Bolognese and the saltimbucco was delicious. Would go back again..

First time visit to Nonnas. I will definitely be back. We began with a caesar salad that was OK.. The dressing taste more like a balsamic vinaigrette, and instead of croutons, there was fine crumbles of croutons.
I had the short rib, and they were kind enough to let me have a creamy risotto instead of a potato puree. (I thought that substitution was better). It was delicious.
For dessert, I had the chocolate gelato, and it tasted like ice milk. It was not creamy at all. That was the worst part of the meal. Because the main course was such a highlight, I still gave them a five-star rating.
The place was noisy, but the room is conducive to noise. Our server, Mario, was very good, as well.
Yes, I will be back, and try a different dessert next time.

I come here 2-3 times a week! The employees are amazing and knowledgeable. The owner is fantastic and hands on. They also treat there employees like gold! Outside seating and indoor.... The back room seating is usually only open when it's crazy busy but it's super cute!! Recommend definitely! Oh ya and the dessert selection is insane!

We had a lovely dinner on New Year's Eve. The atmosphere was lively, food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and were taken directly in to a table. This was very nice since it was cold and raining, so thank you for the kind service. :)

Heavier style Italian comfort food. A little heavy for my taste. A lot of cheese on the lasagna. Cavatelli was a little greasy. Decent flavors.

The food, although reasonably price, just wasn't as good as other Italian restaurants in that area. Calamari was almost tasteless and the tortellini was cooked way too soft. Nothing notable in the sauces or salads. The bread is like seasoned pizza dough.

Seated upon arrival only issue was outer table was directly next to the takeout INDOOR bakery. I state indoor in Caps because besides the line of people standing inches from our table while we were eating they seemed to allow dogs inside the restaurant. Not service animals all dogs. When I asked if this was allowed they said just for take out. When I tell you inches from several dining tables. A German Shepard shook so violently while his owner waited his turn to buy pasties that his hair went everywhere. I was all set at this point. The food was a mixed bag. Appetizers were quite good but served only warm not hot. Main course standard. Nothing was great. If you are used to east coast Italian food or bakery you may want to skip this. Service was good but rushed.
