My boyfriend and I have been here twice and both times have been absolutely phenomenal service and food. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and drinks all for under $100. Our waiter Jose was extremely kind and attentive, even when the restaurant was busy. We brag about the food to all of our family and friends constantly. I can confidently say this is our favorite restaurant in town. Thank you for everything !!!!!!!! We are already planning our next date night here
Food was terrible. 3 pasta main courses had no flavor. Service also abysmal: it took over 1 hour to get entrees, on a Wednesday.
Such a wonderful experience!
Great food and service, had a wonderful and enjoyable meal. Will be back
Never disappoints. The new summer menu is fantastic. Gnocchi was absolutely superb. Matt, the resident sommelier, delivered with unfindable gems from niche Italian winemakers. Best dining experience in San Antonio.
Server seemed saccharine, insincere. Food was overpriced for the portions served. The food overall was very good.
Really good service, great food, was a little loud for a date but still good atmosphere.
Our service is always wonderful. The food and wine are good also. The new additions tp the menu are a plus and we tried some last night. You cannot have a restaurant without a good fish option or two.
We are also waiting for the oyster bar upstairs to open.
Excellent as always!!!
We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
Immediately the hostess recognized our name and congratulated us. Our server did as well. After a wonderful meal we were treated to s glass of Prosecco and the chef made us a special dessert. The chef then came to our table to give us his best wishes.
For us this was a throw back to the way things should be done.
From the minute we arrived until the moment we left we felt special.
No vegetarian options, shrimp risotto had barely any shrimp and they were chopped in, no bolognese option without pork
Excellent food and service.
It was delicious and we we will be back!
The noise level dampens conversation at your table, especially when there are large groups nearby.
I had the shrimp risotto, which had one cut up shrimp and maybe two asperges spears mixed in the risotto, disappointing.
The highlight was visiting the rooftop bar afterwards, which is spacious and has fabulous views of the city.
One of the absolute best eating experiences in San Antonio. Food is authentic Italian, wine list expansive and fun, staff are pros, and atmosphere is both warm and full of energy.
We had a wonderful meal, guided by our server Haley. She knew how to help with Gluten Free options, helped us select our bottle of wine and described dishes to us to help us with our entree selections.
She was a wonderful server and made our evening out a memorable one. Next time we're in San Antonio we will be sure to visit Nonna Osteria again! Thank you so much Haley!
Wonderful on everything
Family dinner with our teenagers was fun! I’m always happy to get time with them. We all ordered a pasta dish and they were ok, but the pasta and sauces were very American. I was hoping for a more homemade Italian flare. Wine list is amazing and ambiance is stellar. This would be a great place for appetizers and cocktails/wine with girlfriends.
Always an awesome experience, Lia does a great job!
Very attentive and accommodating staff. Everyone was thrilled with their meals.
Wonderful spot. Delicious food. Great ambiance and service is spot on. Will be back here again soon.
Wonderful food, always fresh and a great menu. Service is on point.
The service was outstanding, the restaurant is beautiful and the food was good, it is a shame that the acoustics of the place are so bad. We could hardly hear our waitress or have a conversation because of how loud the place is, the sommelier said that they are trying to improve their acoustics but waiting on city officials to approve. Really enjoyed the rooftop for drinks after dinner!
If you are looking for spaghettis, this is not the place for you. The food is true northern Italian and excellent. If you are into wine, and who isn’t, they have a great wine selection.
Fresh take on Italian in a bright and lovely historic building.
Fathers Day lunch. Very pleased with the food and service. Will be back!
The ambiance and food were excellent. They have a wonderful selection of Italian wine. I also wanted to change our table from 4 people to 6 people and they accommodated our change even though the restaurant was very full. The service we received was outstanding.
Loved this restaurant! The food was really good and the service was impeccable!!!! Faith was our waitress and she was amazing! Only downside is that it is incredibly noisy in the restaurant. Like to the point where I basically had to yell at my husband who was across the booth from me, in order to talk to him. It’s only really loud in there because there is nothing but hard surfaces in the restaurant. Other than that is was all very good and we will be back!
pricey but delicious. recommend for special occasions!
Outstanding and quality across the board. Will go again and often
Loved our experience. Service was awesome and the food absolutely delicious
Excellent food and service. Very nice environment.
Extremely expensive! There were very few people eating lunch at this place, I assume because it is so expensive. They don’t even have a lunch menu and the overly priced dinner menu options were very small.
Excellent creative authentic Italian cuisine. A value considering the quality of food, service and atmosphere. Wished we lived in San Antonio - it would quickly become one our favorites.
Looked up the restaurant on trip advisor. It truly is the best Italian restaurant. Food was outstanding. Perfect portion sizes and Bradley was a perfect and attentive server. Perfect evening overall!!
Coming from Toronto with lots of Italian food experiences in Italy itself.
We saw this restaurant reviewed on good taste with Tangie Patton, This place did not disappoint at any level and the service was outstanding as well as the food ,will go back!!! Highly recommended
Every appetizer we tried was perfect (Arancina, pulps, grilled vegetables). The Atomic pizza was so good. Wine was reasonably priced and the service was impeccable. Our favorite restaurant in San Antonio.
Had the gambetti (shrimp) pizza. Overall, quite decent given that I compare it to NYC pizza , where I'm from. Service was outstanding throughout the restaurant - have to applaud that, and the surroundings were very pleasant and sunny.
Absolutely amazing!!! Caprese salad, margherita pizza, and bolognese were all absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember our servers name he was so attentive and great with recommendations! If my husband and I are ever in San Antonio again this will be our first stop.
