The restaurant came highly recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint me at all. The staff were warm, courteous, attentive and efficient.
I loved that we could bring our own wine. The corkage fee was only $5.00! The 2 piece band added a delightful ambiance to the experience.
I and my date, loved the food and the cannolis were the perfect end to a fantastic dining experience. I will definitely be back. I understand why so many people make it their regular dining place. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Did not know ahead of time they do not serve liquor.
So let me understand this.....You give us a 3 star review because you don't read? It says on open table that we are a BYOB restaurant. It says on your confirmation email that we are a BYOB restaurant. That's twice before you set foot in our restaurant. Shame on you for even posting this. We shouldn't suffer for your ignorance.
Amazing everything! Finally, an Italian restaurant that knows what they are doing! I HATE seafood and LOVED their crab and shrimp ravioli my girlfriend made me try. I had the veal marsala, just amazing.
We had an excellent meal and excellent service for our Valentine's Day dinner. Steven was an excellent server and helped us select great wines. We'll definitely be back again to try other dishes as they all looked wonderful (as we saw them served to nearby tables).
Valentines day
Great place!
Food and service were very good but the entertainment, Rob Ryder, was entirely too loud. Very hard to have a conversation with your dinner guests. Was there several weeks ago where the entertainment was perfect to enjoy dinner with.
It was a great dining experience with Chef Julio once again providing excellent food. The music provided by Bobby Ryder added another fun element to the evening. Sorry to see you Colin retire but wish him a happy retirement!
Another great meal!
Crazy good!!!
Always a great experience here. Saturdays are hectic and several of the menu options were no longer available. Otherwise, we are looking forward to returning.
First time dining there - food was excellent ! Loved the live music , too. BYOB. Owner visited the tables.
Would definitely return !
Second visit there, everything was as good as the first. Eggplant rollitini is excellent as was the veal Marsala. Wife had the pear salad and clams with gluten free pasta and was equally pleased. Entertainment and BYOB a definite plus. Service was outstanding both visits.
Great food for reasonable prices; no liquor license but can BYOB for only $5.00 corkage fee; plus 10% discount if pay cash
Food was fabulous!
Great value. The food was very good and good quality. The service was also excellent.
The food was bland and that’s the best I can say about it. It was Christmas Eve and forget a tablecloth we didn’t even have a paper placemat. We had one little single ply napkins and silverware that you could probably bend with your mind it was so thin and light. We “donated“ seven dollars for a glass of wine that was so small. They had a singer who was singing anything but Christmas carols. She did sing twinkle little star. I will not be going to this restaurant ever again.
Spent Christmas Eve here and the food was amazing.. The service was excellent and so were the prices.. It is BYOB with a small $5.00 corking fee. Which is nothing compared to most places that charge $20.00. Will we return?? You bet we will...
Food and service was very good. Our dining companions felt their food was not warm enough
I was surprised to see an entertainment charge as well as the corking fee which I was told would not be added
Excellent food and Service in a pleasant atmosphere
Have been there many times and always enjoy. Service on this occasion was very slow, but food was great as usual.
The food was to die for the service was excellent service wax very attentive the thid restaurant cant wait to go back
The pasta dishes were phenomenal! Nothing tastes better than homemade pasta which they do.
Again wonderful food and excellent service.
Can’t beat this place and byob for $5!
We apparently went on a crazy night! They were having server issues as a server called in last minute so they were short staffed.
The wait time for water and drinks being brought to our table was a wait but as for the appetizers and dinner being served, it wasn’t as bad:) The quality of the food made it worth the wait! Delicious! The owners were wonderful and the music was a great touch!
We will definitely be back:)
The hostess worked very hard to cover for a server who did not show up for work. We really appreciated it and I received a complimentary glass of wine. Will be going back to give them another try.
This BYOB restaurant ($5.00 corkage fee which is fine) has really great food and service is solid. There is live entertainment on Friday and Saturday with a small ($3) cover fee, Cheryl was very good and well worth the cover. Food is well seasoned, served hot, with an appropriate size. It does not have the best ambience, but we are more concerned with food and service. Definitely recommend as good value.
So So standard Italian food quite overpriced even before they tack on the $2 per person music charge and $5 per bottle service charges. This place won't be around much longer!
No bar service. You must bring your own wine. The food was okay, but very salty. They did have gluten-free pasta available. The decor was old and tired. Almost run down. We have no desire to go back anytime soon.
As always, our dinner was excellent. Our waiter, Colin was very attentive and helpful. We were so happy to see them very busy given the pandemic, as it's one of our favorite restaurants. Kudos!
The food was very good as was the service. It was nice having live music while we ate!
Great service. Food was good .
BYOB which is great as well!
It was our first visit but we’ll definitely go back. The food was excellent; the portion unbelievable and the service was very good!
We were recently visiting Bluffton and happened onto Nonna Lucia. Especially in today’s times, it’s nice to feel a sense of gratitude from restaurant staff. Our host Colin was superb and made a point to let us know how much he appreciated us visiting. He even gave our daughter (who is now working in the area) several dining suggestions all over the HHI area. And oh by the way the food was excellent.
Great meal and service; wonderful surprise!
Also love the BYOB policy.
Some of the best Italian food in Bluffton. Great service as well.
Great service, wonderful fresh made pasta, not sure why it has taken so long for us to try this restaurant. We will be back...
WOW!!! Two servers and one cook/chef. All tables were filled and they kicked it!!! Service and food.
Yes, it took a little longer for the food to come out, but it was delicious and hot!!!
The cook/chef was throwing down table after table and putting out food by himself.
Seriously I have never seen this done before. It was amazing
The decor was a little odd and it looks like an older building but the food was great! Authentic Italian! It’s BYOB so remember to bring your favorite wine!
