The best and most delicious food in Dallas..wide selection too!
Food is delicious!
BEWARE: call to confirm seating…. We booked Nonna over 2 months in advance for our one year wedding anniversary dinner for standard seating (we did NOT choose bar seating or counter). So as you can imagine, we were shocked when we were seated in the bar area at a high top table smushed between a hallway, the bar counter, and the front door (constantly opening should I add). My husband politely went up to the hostess and asked to be reseated in the main restaurant and was denied saying that other reservations “had already specifically requested the main dining room” and she couldn’t move us. We requested the main dining room as well (define: standard seating), so this made absolutely no sense. We were given nothing for the annoyance and inconvenience - any other fine dining restaurant in Dallas would have comped a round of drinks, an appetizer, or a dessert - where is the customer service? The restaurant needs to update their open table reservations to include standard seating and BAR SEATING if they are going to seat customers in the bar area who have expectations of standard seating. Such a disappointment for our one year anniversary…. and so sad that the lack of customer service overshadowed the good food. Hostess could use a lesson in customer service!
Nonna always has seasonal, creative dishes. They are based on traditional dishes but make the most of currently available fresh produce and meat. Always a treat to dine here. Wish it were quieter. The wooden baffles on the ceiling need more help!!
We love this place. Always freshly prepared, delicious food, including our favorite white clam pizza, in a charming, unpretentious setting. Now that things are starting to get back to "normal", we are so glad and look forward to putting one of our favorite Italian restaurants back in the rotation.
The food was mediocre and our service was bad. He did not spend time talking to us and took 30 minutes before he took our orders.
Excellent greeting, tables still spaced apart, waiter professional and food outstanding !!!
First time I was there for lunch. It was great. Food and service very good. This, for me , is the best Italian restaurant in Dallas.
Great Belated Birthday Lunch with Mom.
Wonderful and inventive Italian cuisine. 2 different appetizers and 2 different pasta entrees. Just outstanding. Have been going for a decade and never disappointed.
Birthday dinner have been here several times for special occasions have always enjoyed going here had excellent service food was good sometime it excellent others very good we experiment when we go here and tartare disappointed
Some of THE best Italian you can find in Dallas. Always a sure bet!
Nonna is a Dallas institution and Park Cities favorite for reliably good pastas and a wide selection of Italian wines, served in a dark, intimate setting. If I had any complaint it is that the space is on the tired side and would benefit from redesign or redecoration (maybe that’s why they keep the lights so low?). You won’t be disappointed in the food, and Nonna is a welcome respite from the hot spots where you must shout to be heard.
It was ok. I might have had my expectations to high… My favorite part of the meal was the glass of water .
For the quality of your ingredients we feel there’s no need to overwhelm the dishes with chillies. Other then that, we love it.
Another fabulous meal at Nonna. The farro salad with white and green asparagus was delicious as were the lamb meatballs. For something different the spicy sausage with cannellini beans was awesome. We finished with the chocolate bombe and gelato! Outstanding!
Just so lovely! Meal was delicious, atmosphere and service both fabulous. Have missed being at Nonna!
Had great service from Chad at the bar. The flounder and lobster ravioli were fantastic. Had a great wine suggestion (Nebbilolo D'Alba) from Sergio. Absolutely wonderful experience.
Well-crafted seasonal menu and great wine selection!
Went for a family member’s birthday and the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The food was superb per usual and my family thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
One of those places you hope will be around forever, thanks to the pleasant, intimate room and the marvelous food. Is there a better place to be than seated on its banquette facing friends, enjoying food? Even a very noisy fellow at the table next to ours couldn’t spoil our fun.
Everything about Nona is perfection! The food, the wine and the excellent service.
Lovely place, but needs reservations quite ahead of the dinner date. It is a small and very popular place with apparently a lot of regulars. the food is outstanding, fresh, different and uniquely seasoned
I usually love Nonna! My favorite restaurant in Dallas! Last night was the exception to my usual experience as I often enjoy eating there. My reservation for two was for 5:30pm. After ordering a glass of wine (which was served promptly). We were served the chopped salad fairly soon which we enjoyed immensely. Then something must have happened in the kitchen behind the scenes because our entrees did not arrive until we asked for them at 7:10pm! My shrimp spaghettini came and while flavorful was slightly too salty. I cannot imagine what happened and feel disappointed to say the least. Normally, We ask for David who is an outstanding waiter who gives us outstanding service with congenial, prompt, and professional style. Would love to know the reason for last night’s disappointment.
Wonderful, attentive service. Delicious food and nice quiet atmosphere! Great place to celebrate our Anniversary!
First time here, heard about the white clam pie. Did not disappoint!
Sergio was a very attentive waiter, right at our table the moment we had an empty glass or plate.
Coming back soon to try some of the other dishes.
Losing its edge?...NOT! Impeccable service coupled with inventive, sumptuous cuisine in a non-descript neighborhood storefront...YES! The Calabrese sausage main may have been best in show...though potentially topped by a killer Nutella cheesecake. Oh, and did I mention the broad variety of value-priced Italian gems on the wine list? We will be back.
Overall very good experience - not all dishes "worked." Sformato was incredible, but Sausage and Polenta was dry and unimaginative.
Wonderful food and service
Great service per usual. Our server was able to recommend a beautiful wine and the food flavors were on point. Will definitely return as Nonna is one of my favs.
NONNAS is simply the best Italian Restaurant in Dallas. Imaginative and always changing menu coupled with superior service. Can’t beat it.
I feel like there is a bit of a recovery this on this last visit. We have loved Nonna for many years. We felt a little dip in food (not service) over the past year or so, COVID effects notwithstanding. It was never bad, just a recognizable step back from wonderful. It seems to have regained it footing and is again excellent. Best Italian cuisine in Dallas.
Nonna's isn't EVER a disappointment! Food, ambience and staff are always at 100% or beyond. I highly recommend it for stellar italian food and wonderful cocktails.
One of the best restaurants in Dallas . The food is phenomenal...love that the menu changes daily. Great service. Love Nonna!
Nonna's is a lovely, intimate place for a meal. Our server David was personable and helpful to match wine to food.
Had a great dinner at Nonna! The pizza is absolutely AMAZING (definitely a must try when you go)! The wait staff was very nice and very attentive. I had the flounder, and I must say it was a bit smaller than I expected and the grilled chart that came with it was a bit salty. All in all, we have a great time and plan on returning soon!
Waited a little bit for our reservation, which isn’t a huge deal. The broccolini in the Linguine Vongole was way too overpowering and ruined the dish. Aperol Spritz was made incorrectly as well. Lots of hype for an underwhelming dinner.
I love Nonna- the food is boutique Italian- high quality and dishes you won’t find everywhere. The ambiance is cozy and chic, casual but upscale, and the service is great. Wine and cocktails are curated just like the food. This is the perfect small Italian restaurant.
