We ordered off the sushi menu and it was amazing! Loved everything about the experience and the staff were great. Highly recommend!
The service staff was friendly and the food was absolutely spectacular! I wish that I were local so I could come back again soon!
Excellent service from Mohammad as always! Very welcoming!
The food was terrible to say the least...lobster with CINNAMON???? Ugh! The duck was chewy, and tasteless...the chicken was good but the mushy noodles that accompanied the dish tasted like they were cooked in perfumed sock water...the scallops were mediocre at best , who creates these tasteless dishes? The chef needs to go back to culinary school. The service was poor! Many of our appetizers were forgotten, everything took way too long.. maybe because the 18% tip is guaranteed no matter what the service is like...Our bill was$1,300.00 (AND they put 18% on the wine which they shouldn't do because restaurant wine as we all know is double to triple the price ..we only had 6 people) so 18% of that without really doing your best...which is FINE if the food and service warranted it. The ONLY thing that was good was the sushi...PERIOD! Will never return!
Great service, food consistently good, can't beat that view!
Very nice view overlooking the Water Tower. The appetizers were quite good. My salmon was a bit dry but had good flavor.
It was a wonderful exp. date, special occasion or business
NoMi is my favorite restaurant in Chicago : )
Excellent service, delicious meals, beautiful ambiance
Service was not great, waiter was kind of dismissive until the end then he cheered up. Food was ok, had a bad oyster that was milky looking and looked completely bad. The atmosphere is beautiful and sushi was good not great, I don’t think it’s worth the price.
It took 15 minutes to get a cocktail sitting in the bar. The place is dated and needs a facelift including the lobby in the hotel. The place was smoky and I think their exhaust hoods could use some service.
The hostess made us wait for lunch for over 10 minutes with no apologies, we then missed out on a better table because of that. Then our waiter was no where to be found for most of the meal and the food took forever.
A great place to have lunch. A beautiful view, wonderful food and drinks. We loved every minute and bite! Thank you for the great service!!
Nothing wrong. Everything right.
We had the most wonderful brunch at NoMI. My spouse said her Eggs Benedict with crab salad was the best egg dish she has ever eaten. My avocado toast was divine as was the service and the atmosphere. In short, we had one of the best breakfasts in our memory at NoMI.
We thoroughly enjoy NoMi, either for breakfast or using the lounge in the afternoon or evening. Excellent service, food, breakfast views toward the lake. The staff is superb and the ambience is cozy and quiet. The food is always excellent with a great selection. Enjoy with family, friends!
Had a delicious family brunch with a wonderful view and excellent service. Would definitely return and recommend.
I had a dinner with my husband and his parents at NoMI. We all enjoyed the food, which was fantastic and stylish. We also enjoyed the view from the restaurant (e.g., the lighted-up Chicago Water Tower). The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a modern french soup as a starter, followed by a plate of Sushi (a chef's selection $50ish). I enjoyed this cross-cultural dinner. Sushi (Nigiri) were fresh and tasty, particularly "Uni (sea urchin)" imported from Hokkaido. I am Japanese, born in a fishing village in Japan, and can tell how fresh fish is:). Highly recommended (as long as one knows that dining here is not cheap).
Beautiful room for brunch and great food and service.
Outstanding on all counts
Love NoMi. Food and service always surpasses expectations!
We were in Chicago for my daughter's 22nd birthday and we had brunch at NoMI. It was gorgeous, we sat by the window and had an breathetaking view and the food was really good. This is definitely going to the top of our list of favorite restaurants in Chicago. Thanks for an amazing visit!
Make sure you specify a table with the window view if that’s important.
A must for breakfast any trip to Chicago.
Food was amazing. Service was awful. It was like they felt like we didn’t deserve to be there.
When you desire a true fine dining and culinary experience, go to Nomi. It will define why this restaurant has lasted and significantly more refined than most of the new fad restaurants.
Service is absolutely outstanding in a refined and sophisticated way. Wait staff that is trained and ultra professional.
Views of course outstanding.
Worst service we’ve received in a very long time. The cheese and meat plate had two slices of cheese and two pieces of meat with 5 different jams. Not the cheese board you would expect for the price. Our server constantly forgot about us and there were only three other tables at that time. Great view, every thing else was a huge disappointment.
My experience at nomi was amazing. Everything there is over the top class. One of my top favorite spots for fine dining.
Great view and great food! A bit pricey, but your paying for the location.
Wow. Way better than anticipated. Great views and service. The drink with the gnome was amazing and had a nice touch with the container it was served in. Sushi was some of the best we’ve had. Looking forward to going there again in the future.
very good the place is nice and the food is good the sushi is ok
Yes Team Attorneys Judicial Military Mediators Consultants traveling protecting youth adults and were pleased with services.
We have several mtgs in area on business and clients in several hotels. They were pleased.
Yes Great safe location without illegal drugs gangs and corruption.
We have to lead and live example for our youth. The youth adults seniors are worth the time.
Fantastic sushi in downtown chicago! It's on the pricey side but the quality is top notch.
Excellent service, very good food. Great evening!
Food is OK but our table is not ready when we arrived. We had to wait another 10 min. Since we made reservation one month ago，I cannot imagine this happen.
The later service is good though which made us feel better with our holiday Sunday brunch.
Great food. Great service. Beautiful views. Would recommend
Amazing view, amazing food and amazing staff!! I love this place!! They made my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and my mom's birthday spectacular!! :)
Great waiter, very attentive and I wish I could remember his name.
Food was enjoyable
~My fiancé and I had reservations; another couple walked in right before us and the they did not; we informed her that we did and the other couple was still seated before us. When she returned to seat us she stated "we only have outdoor seating in the sun no shade." Well, considering we did call ahead a reserve outdoor seating days earlier I believe I should have been given that option first.
~There was a table with a dog and he continuously barked when anyone approached there table. That took away from the ambiance.
Been several years since I'd been here. I'd remembered this restaurant as being much more romantic/cozy. The service was exceptional, the view is spectacular BUT the environs are rather busy and noisy.
Great view, fabulous service, excellent wine list.
